At-Tirmidhi (2167) narrated from Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Allah will not cause my ummah to agree on falsehood; the hand of Allah is with the jamaa‘ah (the main body of the Muslims).” Classed as hasan by al-Albaani.
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): “A group of my ummah will continue to prevail, following the truth. They will not be harmed by those who humiliate them until the decree of Allaah comes to pass when they are like that.” (Narrated by Muslim, 1920).
Abu Shaamah al-Maqdisi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: When there is a command to adhere to the jamaa‘ah (the main body of the Muslims), what is meant is adhering to the truth and following it, even if those who adhere to the truth are few and those who go against it are many, because the truth is that which is followed by the early group, the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), and no attention should be paid to the large numbers of those who followed falsehood after their time. End quote from al-Baa‘ith ‘ala Inkaar al-Bida‘ wa’l-Hawaadith (p. 22)
Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal did well when he commented on this report by saying that the victorious group who will prevail until the Hour begins is “ashaab al-hadeeth” (the people of hadeeth). Who is more deserving of this description than people who follow the way of the righteous and follow in the footsteps of the salaf who came before us, and exposed the falsehood of the people of bid’ah (innovation) by basing their arguments on the Sunnahs of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)? Ma’rifat ‘Uloom al-Hadeeth, by al-Haakim al-Nisaboori, p. 2, 3
Ibn Mas'ood (radi Allahu ‘anhu) said: “The Jamaa'ah is what conforms to the truth, even if you are alone.” (Reported by Ibn ‘Asaakir in Taareekh Dimashq with a Sahih isnaad as pointed out by Shaikh al-Albani in al-Mishkaat (1/61)).

Motivation for following the Deen must be an act of trying to imitate rasoolullah (saw). Trying to worship Allah based on "understanding a text" without trying to imitate rasoolullah (saw) will not be considered ibadah. This idea "I can pray because I know how to pray n I m not bothered about what day rasoolullah (saw) is born" is one of the big misguidances. This idea can lead to other Shaitani ideas such as " I m praying just like rasoolullah (saw), so he is not so special or I m even better than him" Whatever blessings you can get from your ibadah is just a very tiny portion of what was given to rasoolullah (saw). If you ask Allah hidaya, Allah gives you only a tiny portion of guidance that SPECIALLY granted to rasoolullah (saw). Therefore if you are not trying to imitate Him(sallalahu alayhi wassallam) but "following a text" you can become arrogant. To imitate anyone one should develop some passion for the person after witnessing his character. Reading a text will not give this passion. Rasoolullah (saw) is not with us any more. But there are people who have tiny portions of his(saw) character. Righteous scholars and even good reciters of Quran represent him(saw). Only a person who has mercy can recite Quranic verses about Allah's mercy. Note the difference between reciting and pronouncing. Mercy enters ones heart when he struggles to imitate the manners of the one whom Allah has specially favoured.
This should be the example for all scholars , students and preachers. As people today attacks each other instead of correcting which is specially scene in the Indian subcontinent. Thanks to Mufti Tariq Masood for the return just like the salafs used to do. Main Allah guide us all.

@Seek Facts Not Fiction Basically Mufti Tariq Masood mentioned in his bayaan that there are no such narrations regarding forming another jamaah for salah after the first jamaah and Shaykh Uthman provided with proofs that this is not correct. Mufti Tariq responded and took back his previous statement so Shaykh was just praising that in general and agreed with another view regarding the importance of the first jamaah and the jamaah of travellers. He mentioned that it was praiseworthy and we should always adhere to the truth in the light of proofs from the Quran and Sahih Hadith. Anyone can make mistakes but we should correct each other and rather than being divided over differences in maddahib etc we should try to unite the ummah to the best of our ability since we are all Muslims at the end of the day.
You can respect mawlana tariq masood but this video proves that tariq masood is a very weak mawlana having very little knowledge of Hadith and when such a mawlana with little knowledge talks on various issues, is not correct. Once He says that making animal zabiha is not Ibaadat only on Eid ul adha and Haqiqah is considered ibaadat,. According to him Muslims should not say Allahu Akbar and Bismillah when making Zabihah as, it is not ibaadat. Another, occasion He said that 4 things a Muslims should not gift anyone 1st clothes, 2nd Shoes 3rd Perfume and 4th watch. But Allah in the Quran says spend on what I give you and our prophet said spend on what you consume or wear. Islam cannot be followed on the opinion of such weak Mawlana, who makes so many mistakes.

SubhanAllah ! I always admired Mufti Tareq Masood for his simplicity and humbleness. He has set a very important lesson in today's era that when Dalail is shown there should be no blind following but to accept what is right without finding any excuses. May Allah guide him and us to the right path. I being from Jamat Ahle Hadith have always admired Mufti Sahab and with great respect share his videos among by family and friends which are authentically correct. And a big shout to our Shaykh Uthman who has also done a tremendous job by giving humble advice to our Mufti Sahab. JazakAllahu Khairan Katheeran

At-Tirmidhi (2167) narrated from Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Allah will not cause my ummah to agree on falsehood; the hand of Allah is with the jamaa‘ah (the main body of the Muslims).” Classed as hasan by al-Albaani.
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): “A group of my ummah will continue to prevail, following the truth. They will not be harmed by those who humiliate them until the decree of Allaah comes to pass when they are like that.” (Narrated by Muslim, 1920).
Abu Shaamah al-Maqdisi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: When there is a command to adhere to the jamaa‘ah (the main body of the Muslims), what is meant is adhering to the truth and following it, even if those who adhere to the truth are few and those who go against it are many, because the truth is that which is followed by the early group, the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), and no attention should be paid to the large numbers of those who followed falsehood after their time.
End quote from al-Baa‘ith ‘ala Inkaar al-Bida‘ wa’l-Hawaadith (p. 22)
Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal did well when he commented on this report by saying that the victorious group who will prevail until the Hour begins is “ashaab al-hadeeth” (the people of hadeeth). Who is more deserving of this description than people who follow the way of the righteous and follow in the footsteps of the salaf who came before us, and exposed the falsehood of the people of bid’ah (innovation) by basing their arguments on the Sunnahs of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)?

Ibn Mas'ood (radi Allahu ‘anhu) said: “The Jamaa'ah is what conforms to the truth, even if you are alone.” (Reported by Ibn ‘Asaakir in Taareekh Dimashq with a Sahih isnaad as pointed out by Shaikh al-Albani in al-Mishkaat (1/61)).

Motivation for following the Deen must be an act of trying to imitate rasoolullah (saw). Trying to worship Allah based on "understanding a text" without trying to imitate rasoolullah (saw) will not be considered ibadah. This idea "I can pray because I know how to pray n I m not bothered about what day rasoolullah (saw) is born" is one of the big misguidances. This idea can lead to other Shaitani ideas such as " I m praying just like rasoolullah (saw), so he is not so special or I m even better than him"
Whatever blessings you can get from your ibadah is just a very tiny portion of what was given to rasoolullah (saw). If you ask Allah hidaya, Allah gives you only a tiny portion of guidance that SPECIALLY granted to rasoolullah (saw). Therefore if you are not trying to imitate Him(sallalahu alayhi wassallam) but "following a text" you can become arrogant.
To imitate anyone one should develop some passion for the person after witnessing his character. Reading a text will not give this passion. Rasoolullah (saw) is not with us any more. But there are people who have tiny portions of his(saw) character. Righteous scholars and even good reciters of Quran represent him(saw). Only a person who has mercy can recite Quranic verses about Allah's mercy. Note the difference between reciting and pronouncing. Mercy enters ones heart when he struggles to imitate the manners of the one whom Allah has specially favoured.
With respect. Tariq masood usually talks non sense and I gave up listening to him long ago.

@Seek Facts Not Fiction Basically Mufti Tariq Masood mentioned in his bayaan that there are no such narrations regarding forming another jamaah for salah after the first jamaah and Shaykh Uthman provided with proofs that this is not correct. Mufti Tariq responded and took back his previous statement so Shaykh was just praising that in general and agreed with another view regarding the importance of the first jamaah and the jamaah of travellers. He mentioned that it was praiseworthy and we should always adhere to the truth in the light of proofs from the Quran and Sahih Hadith. Anyone can make mistakes but we should correct each other and rather than being divided over differences in maddahib etc we should try to unite the ummah to the best of our ability since we are all Muslims at the end of the day.

You can respect mawlana tariq masood but this video proves that tariq masood is a very weak mawlana having very little knowledge of Hadith and when such a mawlana with little knowledge talks on various issues, is not correct. Once He says that making animal zabiha is not Ibaadat only on Eid ul adha and Haqiqah is considered ibaadat,. According to him Muslims should not say Allahu Akbar and Bismillah when making Zabihah as, it is not ibaadat. Another, occasion He said that 4 things a Muslims should not gift anyone 1st clothes, 2nd Shoes 3rd Perfume and 4th watch. But Allah in the Quran says spend on what I give you and our prophet said spend on what you consume or wear. Islam cannot be followed on the opinion of such weak Mawlana, who makes so many mistakes.

SubhanAllah ! I always admired Mufti Tareq Masood for his simplicity and humbleness. He has set a very important lesson in today's era that when Dalail is shown there should be no blind following but to accept what is right without finding any excuses. May Allah guide him and us to the right path. I being from Jamat Ahle Hadith have always admired Mufti Sahab and with great respect share his videos among by family and friends which are authentically correct.

In this Video, Sheikh Uthman Ibn Al Farooq حفظه الله Showed The Answer of A Famous Pakistani Hanafi scholar Mufti Tariq Masood, Where He Said In A Video that There's Only One Hadith we find For the Second Congregational Prayer during the time of Salaf Us Saliheen (Khayr Al Quroon), after this video, Sheikh Uthman Ibn Farooq recorded another video & advised him Humbly that there are many ahadith & Evidences beside this Hadith Which Proves that Second Congregational Prayer Happened during the time Of Sahaba & Tab'ieen & Atba Tab'ieen. After watching this video & Having Conversation between both Scholars. Mufti Tariq Masood Made his Rujoo & He Recored a Video of his Rujoo (Taking Back His Statement) published it & told his Awam (people) that Earlier He Said There's no Second Congregational Prayer hadith except one during the time Of Salaf, but After watching the video of Sheikh Uthman Ibn Farooq حفظه الله from US & Talking With Him, I'm Making Rujoo from what I said Earlier. & After Sheikh Explained More about Both y3ni Virtues Of Congregational Prayer & Also The Conditions & Virt ues of Second Congregational Prayer. (Rough Translation)
