Salam wa3leykoum shaykh Uthman, my grandmother is a JW but i am muslim. Do you know about any contradiction in the new world translation? My grandmother promised to become muslim inshaAllah if i show her a contradiction. Could you help me please?
The biggest contradiction from the JW understanding is the idea of multiple gods. The Bible is clear that there is only one God. However JW's believe there is one Jehovah and other gods with a small g. They believe Jesus was a god. John 1.1 in the new world translation.
1. How many men did David kill? • 2 Samuel 10 : 18 (NWT): “David killed 700 charioteers and 40,000 horsemen of the Syrians.” • 1 Chronicles 19 : 18 (NWT): “David killed 7,000 charioteers and 40,000 foot soldiers.” • Contradiction: 700 vs. 7,000 charioteers. 2. How many stalls of horses did Solomon have? • 1 Kings 4 : 26 (NWT): “Solomon had 40,000 stalls of horses for his chariots.” • 2 Chronicles 9 : 25 (NWT): “Solomon had 4,000 stalls for horses.” • Contradiction: 40,000 vs. 4,000 stalls. 3. How many died in the plague? • Numbers 25 : 9 (NWT): “Those who died in the plague amounted to 24,000.” • 1 Corinthians 10 : 8 (NWT): “23,000 fell in one day.” • Contradiction: 24,000 vs. 23,000 deaths. 4. How old was Ahaziah when he became king? • 2 Kings 8 :26 (NWT): “Ahaziah was 22 years old when he became king.” • 2 Chronicles 22 : 2 (NWT): “Ahaziah was 42 years old when he became king.” • Contradiction: 22 years old vs. 42 years old. 5. Did Michal have children? • 2 Samuel 6 : 23 (NWT): “Michal, Saul’s daughter, had no children down to the day of her death.” • 2 Samuel 21 : 8 (NWT): Mentions “the five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul.” • Contradiction: Michal had no children vs. Michal having five sons.
Wou ,Aleykoum Asalam Wa Rahmat Allahi Wa Barakatu. Please let us know if your grandmother accepted Islam after showing her this: Contradictions in the OLD TESTAMENT. *1 Chronicles 10:14 But he did not inquire of the LORD; therefore He killed him… *1 Samuel 28:6 And when Saul inquired of the LORD, the LORD did not answer him... Did Saul inquire or not of the Lord? *1 Chronicles 11:11 And this is the number of the mighty men whom David had: Jashobeam the son of a Hachmonite, chief of the captains; he had lifted up his spear against three hundred, killed by him at one time. *2 Samuel 23:8 These are the names of the mighty men whom David had: Josheb-Basshebeth the Tachmonite, chief among the captains. He was called Adino the Eznite, because he had killed eight hundred men at one time. Was it Jashobeam or Josheb-Basshebeth? Was he a Hachmonite or a Tachmonite? Did he kill 300 or 800? It’s only 3 contradictions in one verse! *1 Chronicles chapters 13 and 14 state that David brought the Ark to Jerusalem before defeating the Philistines. *2 Samuel chapters 5 and 6 clearly state that David brought the Ark to Jerusalem after defeating the Philistines. The contradiction is obvious. *1 Chronicles 18:3-4 “And David defeated Hadarezer king of Zobah as far as Hamath, as he went to establish his power by the River Euphrates. David took from him one thousand chariots, seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand foot soldiers.” *2 Samuel 8:3-4 “David also defeated Hadadezer the son of Rehob, king of Zobah, as he went to recover his territory at the River Euphrates. David took from him one thousand chariots, seven hundred horsemen, and twenty thousand foot soldiers.” Was it Hadarezer or Hadadezer? Was it 7000, or 700? The difference is only 6300! *1 Chronicles 18:9-10 “Now when Tou king of Hamath heard that David had defeated all the army of Hadadezer king of Zobah, he sent Hadoram his son to King David…” *2 Samuel 8:9-10 “When Toi king of Hamath heard that David had defeated all the army of Hadadezer, then Toi sent Joram his son to King David…” Was it Tou or Toi? Was it Hadoram or Joram? *1 Chronicles 19:18 “Then the Syrians fled before Israel; and David killed seven thousand charioteers and forty thousand foot soldiers of the Syrians, and killed Shophach the commander of the army.” *2 Samuel 10:18 “Then the Syrians fled before Israel; and David killed seven hundred charioteers and forty thousand horsemen of the Syrians, and struck Shobach the commander of their army, who died there.” Was it 7000 or 700? Was it foot soldiers or horsemen? Was it Shopach or Shobach? *1 Chronicles 21:11-12 “So Gad came to David and told him, “Shall three years of famine...” *2 Samuel 24:13 “So Gad came to David and told him, “Shall seven years of famine...” Was it seven or three years of famine? Please note that in some Bibles, this contradiction has been “fixed”. *1 Chronicles 21:24-25 “...So David gave to Oman for the place six hundred shekels of gold.” *2 Samuel 24:24 “So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.” Was it 600 shekels of gold, or 50 shekels of silver? *1 Kings 5:16 “…besides three thousand three hundred from the chiefs of Solomon’s deputies, who supervised the people who laboured in the work.” *2 Chronicles 2:2 “Solomon selected seventy thousand men to bear burdens, eighty thousand to quarry stone in the mountains, and three thousand six hundred to oversee them.” Were there 3,300, or 3,600 overseers? Please note that due to the fact that the GOV is highly altered in the accounts of the book of Kings, you will find that the first verse is actually in 1 Kings 5:30, and not verse 16! *1 Kings 7:26 “It was a hand-breadth thick; and its brim was shaped like the brim of a cup, like a lily blossom. It contained two thousand baths.” *2 Chronicles 4:5 “It was a hand-breadth thick; and its brim was shaped like the brim of a cup, like a lily blossom. It contained three thousand baths.” Which statement is correct? Was it 2,000 or 3,000? *1 Kings 15:33 Baasha becomes king on Asa’s 3rd year and reigned for 24 years (total 27) *2 Chronicles 16:1 Baasha still alive at Asa’s 36th year (9 years after his death) How can a man still be alive 9 years after his death? *1 Samuel 17:23-50 David killed Goliath *2 Samuel **21:19** Elhanan killed Goliath* *Note: in some Bibles, they have added the words “the brother of”, but these words are not in the Hebrew text! *1 Samuel 31:1-6 says “…Saul took a sword and fell upon it. And when his armour-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he also fell on his sword and died with him. So Saul died…” *2 Samuel 1:1-16 Saul was slain by an Amalekite. Did Saul commit suicide, or did an Amalekite slay him? Notice that these two passages are next to each other! Once you finish reading 1 Samuel 31, which is only 13 verses, 2 Samuel 1 begins! *2 Chronicles 11:20 Then he married Maakah daughter of Absalom, who bore him Abijah, Attai, Ziza… *2 Chronicles 13:1-2 In the eighteenth year of the reign of Jeroboam, Abijah became king of Judah, and he reigned in Jerusalem three years. His mother’s name was Maakah, a daughter of Uriel of Gibeah. *2 Samuel 14:27 Three sons and a daughter were born to Absalom. His daughter’s name was Tamar, and she became a beautiful woman. Was Maakah the daughter of Absalom, or was she the daughter of Uriel? And did Absalom have only one daughter by the name of Tamar, or did he have two daughters? *2 Chronicles 21:1 “Then Satan stood against Israel and incited David to number Israel.” *2 Samuel 24:1 “Again the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he incited David against them, saying, “Go, number Israel and Judah.” Was it Satan, or was it the LORD who incited David to count Israel and Judah? *2 Chronicles 21:5 “And Joab gave the sum of the numbering of the people to David. In all Israel there were 1,100,000 men who drew the sword, and in Judah 470,000 who drew the sword.” *2 Samuel 24:9 “And Joab gave the sum of the numbering of the people to the king: in Israel there were 800,000 valiant men who drew the sword, and the men of Judah were 500,000.” Was it 1,100,000 or 800,000? Was it 470,000, or 500,000? *2 Chronicles 36:9 “Jehoiachin was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months and ten days.” *2 Kings 24:8 “Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months.” Was it 8, or 18? Was it 3 months and 10 days, or 3 months only? Some Bibles have fixed the first contradiction. *2 Samuel 6:23 Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no children to the day of her death. *2 Samuel 21:8 So the king took Armoni and Mephibosheth, the two sons of Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, whom she bore to Saul, and the five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul... Did Michal die without having any sons, or did she have 5 sons after all? Please note that in 2 Samuel 21:8, the name Michal was changed to Merab in the 1984 NIV, page 333. Furthermore, if you read the footnote of that verse (from the 1984 NIV), it says: “Two Hebrew manuscripts, some Septuagint manuscripts and Syriac (see also 1 Samuel 18:19); most Hebrew and Septuagint manuscripts Michal”. Thus, in simple terms, the Bible itself is admitting that there are different versions resulting in alterations of the numerous manuscripts! *2 Kings 8:26 “Ahaziah was twenty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem.” *2 Chronicles 22:2 “Ahaziah was forty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem.” (Note: Greek Orthodox Version (GOV) says 20 years old). Was it 22? Was it 42? Or was it 20, according to the Greek Orthodox Version (GOV)? *Deut 5:9 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me. *Deut 24:16 “The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.” *Isaiah 14:21 “Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.” So, does the law of father’s iniquity upon children count after all, or not? It is really confusing! *Exodus 9:6 “And the next day the Lord did it: All the livestock of the Egyptians died, but not one animal belonging to the Israelites died.” *Exodus 9:20-21 “Those officials of Pharaoh who feared the word of the Lord hurried to bring their slaves and their livestock inside. But those who ignored the word of the Lord left their slaves and livestock in the field. Please note that this (clear) contradiction is within the same chapter! There are TONS more, but RUclips will NOT allow me to post all of them in one comment!
The true followers of Jesus and his Father Jehovah never and never will become islam because we knew the truth not praising mohammad who is mohammad? never mention in the Bible nor encyclopedia only in quran the book of mohammad he is the author he is the one who write that quran 😂
It’s ironic, Christians have come to his house in the hope of leading him to their faith and yet Shaikh Uthman has a better understanding of Christianity than them. The JW’s are gracious, they are attentive and polite. I pray that Allah will guide them to Islam, Amin.
@dodosmamma1692 Uthmam understanding of his Biblical knowledge is entirely based on and is trained from false Christianity teachings not as what the Scriptures really teaches so to say he knows the Scriptures better than them is lunacy buddy because we teaches not what false so-called Christianity prefers to believe in and teaches, but what the Scriptures *actually....* teaches, hence that is why you would even hear those false Christianity religions calling us *NON-CHRISTIANS* just because we don't adhere to their mainstream false traditional religious dogmas!!! So that is why there were some common grounds meet by our two brothers and your brother(Uthman) based on what the Scriptures really teaches not on what we made up!!
@@ChevyNova632bigblockchevy I'm still waiting for a response to my comments but I haven't received any from him. Heli was Jesus grandfather just Josiah was Jeconiah's grandfather. Islam accepts Matthew as the gospel. ( Matthew 1:11)
Jehova's witnesses are not Christians get your facts straight it's a sect created by a freemasons and still ruled by The Watchtower. With false intepretations and translations including the erasing of verses to suit their agenda.
Im a former JW and a muslim now alhamdullilah. I used to have bible studies when I was a kid and when I asked the elder a certain question the answer wasnt really satisfying and didnt make sense. Growing up as JW I felt like something is missing and I'm looking for something. And just last year I was guided to Islam. Everything Ive been asking in my life I found the answer in Islam. Alhamdullilah Subhanallah❤️
May Allah bless you and your sister. If she's a JW then she's already closer to Islam than the average Christian. And I'm sure she'll appreciate you showing her God's pure truth i.e. Islam
So, here's a guy (the sheikh) basically challenging what these 2 Christians have ALWAYS believed in... And they don't interject, keep calm, hear him out, even agree on certain points with a feeling of mutual respect for each other. We Muslims know the sheikh obviously, but I acknowledge and appreciate this composed & absolutely decent demeanor. Need much more of this these days. May Allah guide us all. Peace
Yes this is very abnormal. I’m throughly impressed. Which also shows us for Christianity the bar is on the floor. (No offense) but they’re always in defense. You can’t criticize their book even politely without them taking it as a personal attack on who they are. They’re often times irrational and even violent the first time their ideals are questioned. We could do a lot of good in the world, if we all could respect each other’s beliefs this way.🙏
It’s actually how they are suppose to act. As a former jw who also knocked on doors, I can tell you once the conversation turns even slightly aggressive or argumentative then the convo immediately ends. They try to find a mutual middle ground in the convo to be able to preach to you, so they will always stay calm. Trust me they are not agreeing or seeing any points
It’s great to see. I never have any hatred to what people believe as people have their own free will. But seeing someone understand what you believe in and hear you out is very refreshing. The conversation feels more valuable because you really can give your full explanation and take in what the person has said whether it changes their mind or not. A lot of the videos I see is just shouting at one another and nothing is gained from the conversation.
I was also a Jehovah's witness, most of these people have very good akhlaq, very polite and generally more morally upright than most of their christian counterparts. Most are also very sincere in their dedication to religious obligations...its just that these efforts are misplaced due to a lack of hidayaat. Alhamdulilah Allah guided me, i have been muslim for about 16 yrs now alhamdulilah. Best decision i have ever made. May Allah guide these two brothers in the video.
I felt the exact same way. I’m certainly grateful for the protection that being a JW gave me (as they believe strongly in modesty, protection of chastity before marriage, and living a life knowing there is a greater reward later); Alhamdulillah for everything. And now, I am even more grateful for Allah calling me to Islam. The timing of Allah is always best.
I currently have a friend who is a JW, but knee very little about Islam, what can I do to point him to islam. He seems open minded, but I think it would be better to get some advice from an ex-JW.
I revert from Christian to Islam 4 years ago. Alhamdulillah . Allahu akbar best decision I found so much peace throughout my brokenness and the people around me things became more clear like a new life . I learned that Islam is perfect and that humans are not. 🤲.
Sister u made a mistake, Islam and JW are false! JW, Islam, Mormons, SDA r not from god but from Satan to separate you from the truth. If u think qaran and the bible r similar, that’s a lie. Jesus is a son who has a father, Allah don’t have no son and he’s not a father
I wish an italian speaking ex Jehovas Witness would talk to my father just to make Dawah and give him explanation so that he may find it easier to convert. I'm trying my best and he accepts alot of things but still can't convince himself 100% may Allah guide him and gift him this big Gift of being muslim.
Keep talking to your father with respect and love. Also, act with the best demeanor. It may help him change his mind. Eventually, if Allah wills, he will guide your beloved father to Islam.
Ameen Ya Allah. With time, your Dad will accept islam in sha Allah. Keep up with the good morales as taught by the Deen and always always be obedient in speech and all interactions. May Allah bless him with Islam soon. Ameen
And the fact that the muslim has the original KJ version of the bible and not the 5th edition re-release of the ammended alteration of the copy of the bible.
These 2 visitors seem like really genuine guys and showed a lot of respect for the sheikh. Inshallah they will be guided to Islam. They are very close to the true message and the light. Hopefully this knock on the door is a new chapter in their lives to eventually accept Islam.
Yes the whole conversation between was beautifully mannered and how it should be in an ideal world. May Allah/Jehovah/The Most Merciful/The Most High guide the door knockers to Him, through this conversation as a catalyst. Ameen
@@Giorgi755 Salama b. Yazid al-Ju‘fi said: I and my brother went to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and asked, “Messenger of Allah! Our mother Mulaika kept the ties of kinship, honoured the guest and did so and so [good deeds] and she died in the times of ignorance [before Islam]; will her good deeds benefit her?” He said, “No.” We [then] asked, “In the times of ignorance, however, she had our sister buried alive, will that benefit her [i.e. our sister]?”[6] The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Al-Wa’idah and al-Ma’udah will enter Hell except if al-Wa’idah lived to accept Islam for then Allah would forgive her.”[7] 1) The men asking the Prophet (ﷺ) were inquisitive about the fate of their deceased relatives i.e. their mother and sister. First they asked about their mother and learnt that her good deeds would not help her in life hereafter as she had died before accepting Islam. 2) Next they asked about their sister that she was buried alive wondering if this would benefit her in the life hereafter. In mentioning the fate of their sister, however, they mentioned that it was their mother who had her buried, a fact they had not mentioned while asking about their mother moments before. 3) Upon this the Prophet (ﷺ) said, “The woman who buried her alive (al-wa’idah) and al-ma’udah [laha] will both enter Hell” following it with a clarification that “except if the one who buried her lived to accept Islam for then Allah would forgive her.” 4) As generally understood “the woman who buried her alive” refers to the mother of the girl but here the clarifying remark of the Prophet (ﷺ) that “if she lived to accept Islam” tells us that it was not meant about the mother of the girl for it had already been mentioned that the mother of the girl had died before Islam. This in turn tells us that the subject of the burying act here was not the mother of girl buried but some other woman. 5) In view of pt. 4, therefore, we can conclude that al-ma’udah here meant the mother of the girl whose active involvement in the heinous act was mentioned by her sons. its talking about 2 woman not the infant, nice try tho..
@@Giorgi755 no, it's the translation of words in english but it was explained that the mother and the one who helped her is the exact meaning of the hadith. Women did have midwife helping them giving birth, we have many hadith that condemn . The words are in arabic and the meaning is explained. You shouldn't lie bluntly. Anyone can read the explanations of the text and not the translation
Allah guided these guys to this house. Maybe they come back, on their own to take shahada. lol. Inshallah they learn and do not ignore since their souls are now on the line.
Uthman doesn’t know about the divine name and that’s clear when he responded to the older brother by saying …“ it may be possible that the name Jehovah was used by Jesus followers in Aramaic” ….. The Divine name appears first on the old testament and was written in Hebrew and the Tetragrammaton is in Hebrew sir Uthman…. Exodus 3:15 is pretty clear when it says “ This is what you are to say to the Israelites, ‘Jehovah the God of your forefathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, and this is how I am to be remembered from generation to generation” What’s not clear about that verse ? 1. This is my name forever 2. This is how I am to be remembered from generation to generation… This name Jehovah and the 4 Hebrew consonants that represent it appear in the oldest copies of the manuscripts over 7000 times so it’s not some obscure nickname or one of many names as uthman claims…. It is the personal divine name of God and Uthman tried to tip toe around that topic and wasn’t even knowledge Enough to discuss it and just shrugged it to the side.
They didn't knock at the wrong door, rather they knocked on the right door, and they seem very sincere to finding the truth themselves. The way I see it, Allah guided them there and I think That's beautifull.❤
Growing up my mom's side of the family was Jehovah's witness and my dads was Christian. One weekend I'm in the kingdom hall the other weeks I was at Ebenezer baptist church choir and Bible study 😅 so that raised questions in me since a youngin. Is Jesus God is he not God etc. little did I know that was Allah guiding me to him at a young age from seeing the contradictions and not the smoke is clear I've been a revert for a year now and alhamdulilah the confusion is gone and I love and rest my salvation in Allah thank you so much for guiding me to you
This is actually a good conversation between Syeikh and Jehovah's Witness. No heated arguments, no personal insults, just 3 men discussing their religion in their respective beliefs.
Initially these 2 JW is doing their dakwah, as we understand sheikh knows the christian book very well he is able to discuss the matter deeply. We should respect & follow these 3 men discussing in a good manner although they have different understanding in religion. Sheikh is trying to emphasize that there is only one God, that jesus is not god but only a mesenger by quoting the bible itself. May Allah bless Sheik Uthman for the good deed in dakwah.
I respect that these two men listened respectfully and gave the sheikh the respect. May Allah guide both of them to Islam, I truly hope Allah guides them.
Honestly, they seem like wonderful people, they didn't shout, get angry for having their faith challenged but instead they spoke with respect and tried to acknowledge/understand what the sheikh was saying. May Allah guide all those deserving of guidance and keep those who are guided on a straight path and may Allah make us among those who earn his shadow on a day where no shade can be found but his. Amen.
@JGreen1 The Holy Qur’an says that there are a few “people of the book” who are amongst the believers and I really believe that most Jehovah’s Witnesses are among them.
i live in England and sometimes i get J.W knocking too, I'm always respectful, offer tea or some juice and we then have a nice discussion on religion. These are good natured people and i always pray these people find truth in life and mercy from Allah.
They are already on right path. Al anam 101 ˹He is˺ the Originator of the heavens and earth. How could He have children when He has no mate? He created all things and has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of everything. Where does the idea of wife come from because catholics believe that Marry is mother of God?

I understand that there are contradictions in the bible but I understand why the bible is not just one book it has many books in them, I am a christian I was going to be Muslim until I read sahir bukhari and the hadiths and the quran also says that's a man can have 4 wives and what ever your right hand posses, in other words sex slaves when they were at war and they killed the husband they would take the wife as a slave and the children im trying to be respectful and open minded but how can a prophet of God allow such things
@JohnWayne-yd7ez Hello John, I am not a scholar, but I believe you may have misinterpreted the verse from the Quran. To the best of my knowledge, the verse was revealed by God only after the war. At that time, many women were left widowed. My understanding is that men take on more than one wife to care for these women and their children. If you are considering taking on more than two wives for sexual reasons or lust, then in my opinion, that would be incorrect. Additionally, God is all-knowing, and if we look at the world today, the ratio of men to women is 8:1, which means that most women will not have husbands. In Islam, it is essential to treat your wife with the utmost respect, love, and compassion. If you are not treating your wife in this manner, you are not a true Muslim. Our prophet freed slaves and was completely opposed to slavery. I hope this clarifies your question.
Are you ready to take shahada since you misinterpreted the Quran and Sahih hadeeth. Because taking what your right hand possesses is not sex slaves. This was for when the war ended and many husbands died, leaving children and mother is widow. This is why we take them an assist not for pleasure. You need to interpret from islamic perspective not just feelings. Ask Muslims what is your perspective because all claims from non muslims have been refuted @JohnWayne-yd7ez
I grew up in the Kingdom Hall of JW. My experience is different. They told me not to take anyone's word for things, but to look myself. I never saw Jesus as the physical son of God. Never had it taught to me that way. The way our Muslim brother is explaining things, is how I saw it as a JW kid. Islam was easy to embrace for me, because the Bible showed me Muslim were my brothers.
Have you taken your shahada already? Cos with your explanation, you're a Muslim. If not, I pray ALLAH guides you to the straight path as soon as possible... Peace be unto you
@@AbassSeidu-nu5ow yes. It was a funny story. I went to the Masjid to get a Quran so that I could read it, and keep my Muslim brothers on the straight path. I was like, they won't read the Bible, so I will use Quranic verses to keep them on the path. 😂 I didn't even get a chance to speak to anyone. I was called up front, told what the shahada meant. I already believed all of it, so I spoke the words without hesitation. 😂 It was a Friday. It felt like I was at the Kingdom Hall. Same energy, and peace. I felt the presence of God there. A man spoke to me about Islam using only Bible verse. I knew all the verses he spoke. I'm a happy Muslim.
I had a similar experience when a JW started talking to me on the street. I had pretty recently reverted, so I started talking about Islam. He kind of got scared about talking about it and didn't want to talk anymore.
Ahh always in awe of sheikh Uthman's way of conversing and dawah. So logical, simple and not forced at all! He really gets people thinking. SubhanAllah. May Allah allow me to speak and give dawah like him.
@@OperatorAron We should learn from Sheikh Uthman thoroughly so that TENS of THOUSANDS more Sheikh Uthman, especially CHINESE SHEIKH UTHMAN, appear who all are as passionate and persistent as Sheikh Uthman in giving DA'AWAH to the NOT-YET-Muslims throughout the world especially in CHINA CHINESE who constitute more than SIXTY PERCENT of the population of EAST ASIA, the world's most dynamic region.
I had Jehova's Witnesses at my door 10 years ago. Invited them in, and they came back several times. We had the best conversations. They couldn't answer my questions too well though, sometimes they just remained so silent watching their bible, trying to think of how to explain what I asked them about, then they'd just say: "we have to ask the Elderly about this." In the end they noticed a lot of things didn't seem right, they seemed horrified. I'm not the one to break people, so I started a conversation to see what we have in common. We found a lot of things we really agreed on, more than Catholics. They also didn't celebrate Christmas for example because according to them Christ wasn't born on that day, and Christmas was a shirk celebration. They never returned after that last visit. I think they had a lot to think about. It's been 10 years. They're always welcome to come back, but they never did.
I remember one saturday they knocked on my door (I opened half-asleep like the beloved shiekh uthman here :D). I invited them in, served them juice and snacks. After they did their pitch as well as Q&A, I told them I wanted to give them a gift, then stepped inside and got them the Qur'an. Brother, their attitude and demeanor switched 180 and they immediately stood up saying they have to leave. I tried guaging what they knew about Islam, but they were literally already walking towards the door. That was a good day :D
A few months ago 2 JW woman knocked on my door telling me about their faith , i listened respectfully and then told them that I’m Muslim and told them the same believes we share about Jesus (as) and i showed them a little bit of how prophet Muhammad (saw) is foretold in their scripture and that they need to read the Quran
I am a Jehovah's Witness from Nigeria, I have been a witness from Childhood and i have read the English version of the quran i got from a friend. But when i got to the University, some Muslim fundamentalist( we call them tebliq or so, they wear their trousers short and and some of them close their ears if they hear secular music) did not want me to even touch their quran. There are actually some books that they carry that purports to show inconsistencies in the Bible or the Christian faith and i have read it and discussed it with them. Just like the Sheik is well versed in the quran compared to many muslims, so also are Jehovah's Witnesses in their various levels of experience and abilities. These two brothers came to deliver a message and eventually had a decent conversation about religion, they have accomplish their tasks. There are others, well versed also that would have a lengthy back and forth with the sheik respectfully.
@@rabzy595 my brother, probably the reason why those Muslims did not want you to touch the Qur'an is because you haven't done Wudu (Ablution), but they could have looked for a way to let you in. Also, wearing a trouser above the ankle was one of the ways of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). And music is forbidden in Islam. In a nutshell, those brothers were just practicing what they believe and should be encouraged. 😊

The reason they were able to have a good conversation is because they are actually knowledgeable. They really did study the bible, they know what they're talking about. They understand the bible, they are ACTUAL scholars. Mad respect to these two intelligent men. Its wonderful that they knocked on his door to give us this amazing conversation
A lesson they will never forget 😂 when ever they hear the name utman they will run for life 😂😂😂😂 May Allah swt bless you sheikh utman.. Watching from the Gambia 🇬🇲💕
Sheikh Utham got these 2 served on a silver plate, they knocked on the door and left with confussion in their own books. The eyes tells you everything, and i respect these two gentlemen, but you know from their behavour that they were very impressed with Shaykh Uthmans memorising THEIR books, and everything Shaykh Uthman was telling them made all sense. ive watched every single second of this video and Uthman really made it logical, easy to understand, and it all made good sense.
Those who are saying they knocked on wrong door.......let me tell you they knocked on the right door...these conversation is priceless to them... judging their conversation they are just one step behind.......may Allah guide them
I've been reading Mark's gospel last month and I've noticed a historical error in it In the 2nd chapter when Jesus told the pharasies : “Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry and in need? In the days of Abiathar the high priest, he entered the house of God and ate the consecrated bread, which is lawful only for priests to eat. And he also gave some to his companions.” The crucial problem here is that abiathar wasn't the high priest at the time of David It was actually abiathar's father "ahimelek" according to the OT
During Quarantine I discovered your channel. I was going through a very dark place in my life during that time. Through watching your videos alongside Dr Zakir Naik, I rediscovered my love for Islam. Your videos are very informative and your knowledge is amazing. InshAllah keep up the good work. Happy this video popped up in my feed during Ramadan
As someone who often criticises Islam. Conversations like this are so encouraging. It actually reflects my personal experience, every Muslim I’ve discussed theology with, they are always incredibly learned, and polite.
I have met some of the nicest, humble Muslims that have helped me a lot! And I think the Qur'an is beautiful. I personally see the Bible when I read it.
I am a proud Muslim and i really appreciate this conversation of the JW they are very nice and polite. This was a very civilised conversation. This is how we should share our points and knowledge. The man with the tie was very calm and kept a smile on his face. May Allah guide the JW they are nice people. Ameen.
I'm a Muslimah and I consider the JW the best Christians. They don't celebrate xmas etc. These two gentlemen are so courteous. Love it! May Allah guides them to the truth. Ameen 🤲🏼
@@mr.castro7838The word "Christians" was an invention of their greek and that time polytheist ennemies, by the way. This is what is said in the bible itself. How did the disciples call themselves? Muslims, according to Qur'an. This means those who are submissive to Allah (Eloh, Alaha).
@@mr.castro7838 The case is very easy. All prophets were sent from Allah (Eloh, Alaha). They called him with this name and also called him Rabb (Lord, the One who takes care). But this does not mean father, although it encompasses some aspects thereof. As father would be "Ab" in Semitic language. And what has been transformed into "son" is in Hebrew "ebed", in Arabic " 'abd", meaning "servant". This is how all prophets in the scriptures are named, servant of Allah. So "'Abdullah" (ebed Eloh) means "servant of Allah". No difference, also 'Isa bin Maryam 'alaihi salam spoke of himself as 'Abdullah in this sense. But bible translators met it "son" only in the case of the one you call Jesus (adding the Latin -us). This is not really being honest and caused a lot of confusion.
Jehovah Witness are one step ahead of the Trinitarians who believes Jesus as God, they just need to understand what sons of God mean, in the bible it's says "Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the sons of God" So it's not literal begotten son of God but it means a righteous man or prophet of God
The best discussion I have ever watched on comparative religion. Despite their differences in belief, they were very respectful, tolerant and willing to learn from each other. This is what is called maturity. No insults, no shouting, no rudeness, no belittlement of another's belief, no mockery etc. Everything was done amicably and with understanding. This is amazing. May Allah guide them to the straight path
These two are the nicest and most respectable christians I have ever seen in this channel. Not emotional or defensive like other christians. No playing around trying to make up stuff to justify the contradictions in the bible. I love their discussion. May Allah guide them.
They were so interested that they went to our beloved uthman's house to get schooled with the suit and shoes, they will be a great student. Jokes aside May Allah guide all the disbelievers, it's our job to bring islam to all the people, that's why this type of video will be informative for all muslims, one of my japanese friends are interested and trying to learn Qur'an, please pray for her.
I am so happy to have landed on this. I wish I could get into contact with this Imam. My Christian friend who is a missionary American in Italy who continues to preach to me to become Christian. She recently lost her daughter 42 years to cancer and her death wish was requesting the mom to convert me to their faith
don't convert because of her wish to Christianity she won't be able to save you on day of judgement only God will read Quran and visit nearby imam and talk to him take his advice
Shaikh Uthman dealt with these gentlemen respectfully no sarcasm whatsoever, they listened to him patiently and were agreeing on valid arguementd from Shaikh that shows they are searching for truth. May Allah Subhanahu guide them. Ameen
Subhanallah Alhamdulillah I thank Allah for making me a Muslim. Islam is bound to attract the hearts and minds of people of understanding and knowledge
Sh Uthman u never stop to amaze us .all my friends are awe struck cause they just come to ur door. All well prepared . But sh Uthman spoke verbatim! On the spot! Allahumdulilah amazing ! Masha Allah.🎉
This is one of the best conversation I saw with Christian thank you for your respectful manners I would like to see more respectful Christians who discuss things logically and reasonably
• 2 Samuel 10 : 18 (NWT): “David killed 700 charioteers and 40,000 horsemen of the Syrians.”
• 1 Chronicles 19 : 18 (NWT): “David killed 7,000 charioteers and 40,000 foot soldiers.”
• Contradiction: 700 vs. 7,000 charioteers.
2. How many stalls of horses did Solomon have?
• 1 Kings 4 : 26 (NWT): “Solomon had 40,000 stalls of horses for his chariots.”
• 2 Chronicles 9 : 25 (NWT): “Solomon had 4,000 stalls for horses.”
• Contradiction: 40,000 vs. 4,000 stalls.
3. How many died in the plague?
• Numbers 25 : 9 (NWT): “Those who died in the plague amounted to 24,000.”
• 1 Corinthians 10 : 8 (NWT): “23,000 fell in one day.”
• Contradiction: 24,000 vs. 23,000 deaths.
4. How old was Ahaziah when he became king?
• 2 Kings 8 :26 (NWT): “Ahaziah was 22 years old when he became king.”
• 2 Chronicles 22 : 2 (NWT): “Ahaziah was 42 years old when he became king.”
• Contradiction: 22 years old vs. 42 years old.
5. Did Michal have children?
• 2 Samuel 6 : 23 (NWT): “Michal, Saul’s daughter, had no children down to the day of her death.”
• 2 Samuel 21 : 8 (NWT): Mentions “the five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul.”
• Contradiction: Michal had no children vs. Michal having five sons.
Wou ,Aleykoum Asalam Wa Rahmat Allahi Wa Barakatu.
Please let us know if your grandmother accepted Islam after showing her this:
Contradictions in the OLD TESTAMENT.
*1 Chronicles 10:14 But he did not inquire of the LORD; therefore He killed him…
*1 Samuel 28:6 And when Saul inquired of the LORD, the LORD did not answer him...
David took from him one thousand chariots, seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand foot soldiers.”
*2 Samuel 8:3-4 “David also defeated Hadadezer the son of Rehob, king of Zobah, as he went to recover his territory at the River Euphrates. David took from him one thousand chariots, seven hundred horsemen, and twenty thousand foot soldiers.”
Was it Hadarezer or Hadadezer? Was it 7000, or 700? The difference is only 6300!
*1 Chronicles 18:9-10 “Now when Tou king of Hamath heard that David had defeated all the army of Hadadezer king of Zobah, he sent Hadoram his son to King David…”
*2 Samuel 8:9-10 “When Toi king of Hamath heard that David had defeated all the army of Hadadezer, then Toi sent Joram his son to King David…”
Was it Tou or Toi? Was it Hadoram or Joram?
*1 Chronicles 19:18 “Then the Syrians fled before Israel; and David killed seven thousand charioteers and forty thousand foot soldiers of the Syrians, and killed Shophach the commander of the army.”
*2 Samuel 10:18 “Then the Syrians fled before Israel; and David killed seven hundred charioteers and forty thousand horsemen of the Syrians, and struck Shobach the commander of their army, who died there.”
Was it 7000 or 700? Was it foot soldiers or horsemen? Was it Shopach or Shobach?
*1 Chronicles 21:11-12 “So Gad came to David and told him, “Shall three years of famine...”
*2 Samuel 24:13 “So Gad came to David and told him, “Shall seven years of famine...”
Was it seven or three years of famine? Please note that in some Bibles, this contradiction has been “fixed”.
*1 Chronicles 21:24-25 “...So David gave to Oman for the place six hundred shekels of gold.”
*2 Samuel 24:24 “So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.”
Was it 600 shekels of gold, or 50 shekels of silver?
*1 Kings 5:16 “…besides three thousand three hundred from the chiefs of Solomon’s deputies, who supervised the people who laboured in the work.”
*2 Chronicles 2:2 “Solomon selected seventy thousand men to bear burdens, eighty thousand to quarry stone in the mountains, and three thousand six hundred to oversee them.”
Were there 3,300, or 3,600 overseers? Please note that due to the fact that the GOV is highly altered in the accounts of the book of Kings, you will find that the first verse is actually in 1 Kings 5:30, and not verse 16!
*1 Kings 7:26 “It was a hand-breadth thick; and its brim was shaped like the brim of a cup, like a lily blossom. It contained two thousand baths.”
*2 Chronicles 4:5 “It was a hand-breadth thick; and its brim was shaped like the brim of a cup, like a lily blossom. It contained three thousand baths.”
Which statement is correct? Was it 2,000 or 3,000?
*1 Kings 15:33 Baasha becomes king on Asa’s 3rd year and reigned for 24 years (total 27)
*2 Chronicles 16:1 Baasha still alive at Asa’s 36th year (9 years after his death)
How can a man still be alive 9 years after his death?
*1 Samuel 17:23-50 David killed Goliath
*2 Samuel **21:19** Elhanan killed Goliath*
*Note: in some Bibles, they have added the words “the brother of”, but these words are not in the Hebrew text!
*1 Samuel 31:1-6 says “…Saul took a sword and fell upon it. And when his armour-bearer saw that Saul was dead, he also fell on his sword and died with him. So Saul died…”
*2 Samuel 1:1-16 Saul was slain by an Amalekite.
Did Saul commit suicide, or did an Amalekite slay him? Notice that these two passages are next to each other! Once you finish reading 1 Samuel 31, which is only 13 verses, 2 Samuel 1 begins!
*2 Chronicles 11:20 Then he married Maakah daughter of Absalom, who bore him Abijah, Attai, Ziza…
*2 Chronicles 13:1-2 In the eighteenth year of the reign of Jeroboam, Abijah became king of Judah, and he reigned in Jerusalem three years.
*2 Chronicles 21:1 “Then Satan stood against Israel and incited David to number Israel.”
*2 Samuel 24:1 “Again the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he incited David against them, saying, “Go, number Israel and Judah.”
Was it Satan, or was it the LORD who incited David to count Israel and Judah?
*2 Chronicles 21:5 “And Joab gave the sum of the numbering of the people to David. In all Israel there were 1,100,000 men who drew the sword, and in Judah 470,000 who drew the sword.”
*2 Samuel 24:9 “And Joab gave the sum of the numbering of the people to the king: in Israel there were 800,000 valiant men who drew the sword, and the men of Judah were 500,000.”
Was it 1,100,000 or 800,000? Was it 470,000, or 500,000?
*2 Chronicles 36:9 “Jehoiachin was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months and ten days.”
*2 Kings 24:8 “Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months.”
Was it 8, or 18?
*2 Kings 8:26 “Ahaziah was twenty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem.”
*2 Chronicles 22:2 “Ahaziah was forty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem.” (Note: Greek Orthodox Version (GOV) says 20 years old).
Was it 22? Was it 42? Or was it 20, according to the Greek Orthodox Version (GOV)?
*Deut 5:9 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me.
*Deut 24:16 “The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.”
*Isaiah 14:21 “Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.”
So, does the law of father’s iniquity upon children count after all, or not? It is really confusing!
*Exodus 9:6 “And the next day the Lord did it: All the livestock of the Egyptians died, but not one animal belonging to the Israelites died.”
*Exodus 9:20-21 “Those officials of Pharaoh who feared the word of the Lord hurried to bring their slaves and their livestock inside. But those who ignored the word of the Lord left their slaves and livestock in the field.
Please note that this (clear) contradiction is within the same chapter!
There are TONS more, but RUclips will NOT allow me to post all of them in one comment!

Peace
That’s Jehovah’s Witnesses for you
Assalaam U Alaikum
Aameen!!!
Huge respect for the two gentelmens very respectful, active listeners. Great conversation.

@@Giorgi755whats ur point?
@@Giorgi755 you r lying.......that's always like that. Not one hadith and there is many, that claim the infant will go to hell
@@Giorgi755 in Islam infant are like angels...they can't do wrong so they will not be judge. Babies are in heaven.
@@Giorgi755 Salama b. Yazid al-Ju‘fi said: I and my brother went to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and asked, “Messenger of Allah! Our mother Mulaika kept the ties of kinship, honoured the guest and did so and so [good deeds] and she died in the times of ignorance [before Islam]; will her good deeds benefit her?” He said, “No.” We [then] asked, “In the times of ignorance, however, she had our sister buried alive, will that benefit her [i.e. our sister]?”[6] The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Al-Wa’idah and al-Ma’udah will enter Hell except if al-Wa’idah lived to accept Islam for then Allah would forgive her.”[7]
1) The men asking the Prophet (ﷺ) were inquisitive about the fate of their deceased relatives i.e. their mother and sister.
3) Upon this the Prophet (ﷺ) said, “The woman who buried her alive (al-wa’idah) and al-ma’udah [laha] will both enter Hell” following it with a clarification that “except if the one who buried her lived to accept Islam for then Allah would forgive her.”
4) As generally understood “the woman who buried her alive” refers to the mother of the girl but here the clarifying remark of the Prophet (ﷺ) that “if she lived to accept Islam” tells us that it was not meant about the mother of the girl for it had already been mentioned that the mother of the girl had died before Islam.
Exodus 3:15 is pretty clear when it says “ This is what you are to say to the Israelites, ‘Jehovah the God of your forefathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, and this is how I am to be remembered from generation to generation”
What’s not clear about that verse ?
1. This is my name forever
2. This is how I am to be remembered from generation to generation…
This name Jehovah and the 4 Hebrew consonants that represent it appear in the oldest copies of the manuscripts over 7000 times so it’s not some obscure nickname or one of many names as uthman claims…. It is the personal divine name of God and Uthman tried to tip toe around that topic and wasn’t even knowledge Enough to discuss it and just shrugged it to the side.
Especially Uthman
They didn't knock at the wrong door, rather they knocked on the right door, and they seem very sincere to finding the truth themselves. The way I see it, Allah guided them there and I think That's beautifull.❤

I didn’t read it that way. I think he’s incredibly stubborn. Allah knows best.
Islam was easy to embrace for me, because the Bible showed me Muslim were my brothers.
muslims and christians aren't brothers lol
Have you taken your shahada already? Cos with your explanation, you're a Muslim. If not, I pray ALLAH guides you to the straight path as soon as possible... Peace be unto you
@@AbassSeidu-nu5ow yes. It was a funny story. I went to the Masjid to get a Quran so that I could read it, and keep my Muslim brothers on the straight path. I was like, they won't read the Bible, so I will use Quranic verses to keep them on the path. 😂
I didn't even get a chance to speak to anyone. I was called up front, told what the shahada meant. I already believed all of it, so I spoke the words without hesitation. 😂
It was a Friday. It felt like I was at the Kingdom Hall. Same energy, and peace. I felt the presence of God there. A man spoke to me about Islam using only Bible verse. I knew all the verses he spoke.

I had Jehova's Witnesses at my door 10 years ago. Invited them in, and they came back several times. We had the best conversations. They couldn't answer my questions too well though, sometimes they just remained so silent watching their bible, trying to think of how to explain what I asked them about, then they'd just say: "we have to ask the Elderly about this."
In the end they noticed a lot of things didn't seem right, they seemed horrified.

It is not their eyes that are blind, its their hearts
A few months ago 2 JW woman knocked on my door telling me about their faith , i listened respectfully and then told them that I’m Muslim and told them the same believes we share about Jesus (as) and i showed them a little bit of how prophet Muhammad (saw) is foretold in their scripture and that they need to read the Quran
The Shayatheen are terrified of the Qur'an 😉
I am a Jehovah's Witness from Nigeria, I have been a witness from Childhood and i have read the English version of the quran i got from a friend.

I've been reading Mark's gospel last month and I've noticed a historical error in it
In the 2nd chapter when Jesus told the pharasies :
“Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry and in need? In the days of Abiathar the high priest, he entered the house of God and ate the consecrated bread, which is lawful only for priests to eat. And he also gave some to his companions.”
The crucial problem here is that abiathar wasn't the high priest at the time of David
It was actually abiathar's father "ahimelek" according to the OT

@@mr.castro7838The word "Christians" was an invention of their greek and that time polytheist ennemies, by the way. This is what is said in the bible itself. How did the disciples call themselves? Muslims, according to Qur'an. This means those who are submissive to Allah (Eloh, Alaha).
@@ASamaa-tx3fz The disciples and Jesus aint Muslim..Lol They all believe in God the father. Muslim do not believe Allah can be a father in any sense.
