I had Hooker side exhaust on my 69 427. No mufflers for a while, ( I live in a rural area) and it would talk to ya let me tell you. I put a piece of baffle in it after a while. Just wondering what pipes these are thanks. These are rolling artwork.
It looks OE 69 side mufflers. But in side is chambered mufflers like C2. You can see and hear it on ruclips.net/video/qcUAyliNVsc/видео.htmlsi=dzEJ0RTN3sTiLwii Thanks.
@@sa58us Thanks Yes the C2 chambered pipes let it talk. I now have a 1971 454 LS5 and l just got sidepipes from Corvette Central. They are called Highflo and I hope they sound like yours.
@@TedMeyer-us6uk The chambered pipe is very loud. Then, I had replaced it to GM OE type baffled pipe once. But it made worse response and ugly sound. And it didn’t make so quiet. So, I turn the pipe back to the chambered one. You can see the pipe at my Blog www.pac1.net/corvette/2021/04/project-c3-91.html . Sorry, it is Japanese but you can look a picture of the baffled one. Also You can hear baffled pipe sound at ruclips.net/video/tzUpJGPDgnI/видео.htmlsi=SadjtUq4DiZvZ_iR My 427 has a little aggressive cam. This is also a reason for making this rumble sound. I hope your new pipes will make good.
@@sa58us Yes was wondering what engine work was done. And I did hear your baffled pipes and they sounded great to me on this phone anyway. As I said the very loud Hooker brand pipes I had on the 69 finally got to me!

I also suppose if you have a high compression engine it will roar more
