I have a 2022 TRD pro line rush 4Runner , and I really love it , couldn’t be happier , I don’t really have a need for a pickup , but I do like to sleep behind my cargo area of my 4Runner when camping. However I slightly like the Tacoma Lime color. Both great vehicles !
Would love the 4runner with the lime paint color of that Tacoma. Not saying that the color on the 4runner is no bueno..I like both but I'm digging the stronger more vibrant lime on the truck.
70k+ including markups here in California LOL. A 2020 trd pro is being sold for 78k including markups… and yes it’s an suv that they’re using for test driving.
Tacoma and 4runner has best of both worlds.. tacoma you can get a 6 speed manual and 4runner you cant. Bummer. 4runner has the legendary J-shifter for 4wd control, tacoma has a boring dial. As far as blind spot monitoring thats not a omg feature for me or a deal breaker and in my opinion it makes for this eras lazy drivers that dont rock and roll in their seat and really check their mirrors as they're supposed to. Im a 4runner guy, but have always driven manual transmission. If toyota would put the tacoma manual transmission along with J-shifter like in 3rd gen 4runners I would be sold immediately.
Just waiting for the Electric Lime Metallic Tacoma to get to the dealership in my area and I'm getting it day one! Absolutely in love with the color and how flashy it is. It'll be my first truck ever and I am beyond excited for it. Love all your Tacoma videos Jeff; you've definitely convinced me to get one

I could not ever bare to beat up on either (off roading) - despite the fact that they are designed for some rough-housing. Look forward to more collaborations!

These cars are about the same, the only thing the Tacoma really out performs the 4Runner at is MPG. I know this because we have both, and their both lifted on 33s.
Lime rush is too yellow and subtle, the Taco’s lime metallic is the better color. Was seriously considering trading my army green Pro 4Runner but nahhh. If the 4Runner had the lime metallic same as the Taco I’d be at the dealer trading in.
