Just to clarify you are sitting in a tub of water with an electric pump plugged into 120 VAC? Damn

When you put it that way...

@InGear please sir ..never do that..if the seal fails on the pump..you will very likely die of electric shock..your entire body will be ground.
To be somewhat safer..use an external pump..that is connected to a GFCI plug. Im not trying to put you down I promise, just want you to be safe

If you elevate the tub high enough above the stove, maybe on some reinforced pallets and or concrete bricks, you won't need a pump. The heat exchange and syphon effects will cycle the heated water as long as there's fuel...

The risk of electrocution is too appealing.

Hey man is that a 4x2x2' tub? Everyone seems to use a 6x2x2', but I think its too big for 1 person. Thoughts? Thx, cool build btw

Thanks! It's the ~4x2x2. Best way to check is to plop down in the middle of Home Depot. Worked for us!

Awesome, dude! Vs ~$10,000 for a 'real' hot tub and yours looks better, too!
