This product really works. I used in my Genesis 5 L R-Spec and man, the results are stunning. It was really easy to clean with this product and then seal it leather sealer.Very impressed. Would readily recommend to any one.
I adore the leather that BMW put in their cars, the terracotta color is absolutely beautiful, good to see that it's possible to keep it that way. The leather on those cars has a nice, fine finish with small pores, but it's a fairly thick leather with a soft backing so it has good flexibility without feeling overly delicate.
My 2008 looks identical to the clean side in the rears which have never been sat in before. My fronts look closer to the dirty side. Can't wait to clean them so they resemble the back seats; looks so good! Ordering today
Read the instructions, do some testing and you too should see similar results. We have been using this product for many years, amazing product and brand.
Impressive results! I've used some other Swissvax products and found them to be excellent. I use their Paint Rubber (claybar) and other waxes. Zymol HD Cleanse is the ABSOLUTE best pre-wax cleaner I have ever used though!
Funny thing, one of the reasons I purchased the E46 M3 that I did was the nappa leather interior, no sunroof, no power seats (weight reduction + lower center of gravity). I contacted the original and sole prior owner and he told me that the sales person convinced him to second guess his decision on the choice of leather, as the black leather had a greater potential resale value. Last minute, he changed his decision under the president that he likely would never sell the car having been so in love with it... here we are in 2017 and nappa leather is highly sought after, while black and dove leather are just run-of-the-mill. Ironic. Additionally, BMW couldn't get the e30 M3s off the lot and suffered to get rid of them in US in the 80s and 90s... now a quality one can range from 45k-115k. Word to the wise if you're purchasing a new bespoke or "individual" M3 from BMW... chose every unusual option they offer and claim will be detrimental to the cars resale value :P
Ewww the side you cleaned looked so clean that I would wear gloves to touch the other side!! Awesome video going to order this once I get my used BMW 530i.
Yeah that's an awesome demo. Just got a 2002 bmw 530i with sport package going to be cleaning later today. Black seats so help appearance automatically but now I know a ton of dirt is there.
I think i will do that with The A4 seats. But i have leather in a nissan leaf tenka model also (highest level of nissan Leaf). But im unsure if its "real" leather. Does that matter ?

Does this get rid of any soaked in smells in the leather? I got my BMW back from the shop and it came back with a sweat smell on my seats that filled the whole car. I did a stupid thing and let it sit there for months. Now the smell won't come out even with leather cleaners, a little scrubbing, all that stuff. Will this fix it?
Nice job on that leather! im ordering this stuff myself ,I have an Merc e63s with black leather and noticed on the driver side bolster starting to fade through, I need to get it black again ,can you recommend a product or die to fix this ? Thanks
It's possible that you've allowed it to dwell too long. You can dilute the cleaning product with water. Spray it onto your brush instead of directly onto the seat. Gently scrub, then wipe immediately.
I bought their leather kit for £85, for my new BMW Z4. So far it seems alright, but it is pretty expensive (contents are MUCH smaller than you think). Only time will tell.
***** I was mistaken, I decided to do it again but this time without the elegant protectant and used more product and it's turned out perfect even on the steering wheel. Very matte (complete opposite of other cleaners/lotions) and I even used it on other trim to get it matte. Milk dried overnight.
I would like to start a Professional Car Detailing Unit and need your expertise on the following. Which are the brands you recommend for the ones below. Degreaser: Clay Kit: Paint Correction: Polish: Wax:
So this product returns the leather to the matte finish? I hate the shiny "Armorall" type look leather takes on after a couple of years of use and or abuse.
If the leather was originally a matte type finish and it has become glossy due to debris and/or products then yes using these products as described in the instructions and video will make improvements as you see in the video. If the leather is naturally shiny then no the products cannot alter the original finish.
I always wondered why the lower half of my driver's seat was shiny. It never dawned on me that it could contaminants like oil. I thought the seat had been repaired or something.
Does this do the same to the steering wheel? Someone recommended using a Magic Eraser and although you do see dirt on the sponge, I'm concerned that the chemicals in it can't be good for leather overall, no?

Hi, i had pen ink stain on my car's beige leather seat. To remove it, I rubbed alcohol. But I probably rubbed it too hard and made a stain on the seat. How can I remove that alcohol stain. Is it even possible?
Don't know if you still have that stain but I have removed several ink stains from my beige leather seats with Goo Be Gone but alcohol will probably work. The key is to blot it, not rub it or you will only smear it. Keep blotting it and turning the towel to the clean side each time you dab it until it is gone.
Yes, but we recommend allowing more time for the seat to dry after the cleaning process (before applying conditioner). If possible, try not to spray too much product into the perforated holes.
I've watched a lot of these leather cleaning videos, I'm not saying they don't work but wouldn't hair shampoo work just as effectively? That stuff removes the dirt oil and grime for our skin, although our skin isn't lie leather it is porous
Yes, it is fine on most vinyl and leathers, as a good practice ensure that you test a small ares first. We have used this product for years and it is spectacular plus it is the OEM product for Bugatti, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Rolls Royce and a few other brands as well :)
The reason your not getting any color transfer is because the leather has a top seal coat. That conditioner is not being absorbed. The best is to clean and reseal.
And HOW do you clean EMBROIDERY on leather seats? I've called around as my custom digitized embroidery on my car seats have really gotten dirty in the 5+ years. The might red's are more maroon now.. I've called around to detailing shops and everyone says to LEAVE IT and it's impossible to clean. Makes NO SENSE..
It is difficult to give this type of advise without seeing and testing. We would try a small area with the Swissvax leather cleaner to see if there is improvement and no bleeding of colour. We clean white/light stitching and piping on seats all the time without issue and floor mats that have embroidery. Once again difficult to offer advise or your exact solution without dealing with it personally so always follow manufactures directions and test a small area first.
Instead of searching for an AUTO product to do such, u/stnd, this is just THREAD, ie stitching 1st of all. With that in mind, you resort to a HOME product used on clothing as source, one of which is a product called Dryell. I would guess there are other home "remedies" so to speak available, but the results you'll get from Dryell will please you I'm sure.
REEFBLUENOTCH Thank you VERY much! I looked at the website but am UNABLE to understand WHICH applicator and HOW to do use it? It seems to indicate throwing the "garment" with and a type of drier sheet into a tumbler to "steam" it. But how do you do that on car seats? I don't have a handheld steamer and sort of difficult to throw in a whole car seat into a dryer ;-) LOL. Is this available in Canada? And how would I apply it? Thank you very much :-)
Seems a little costly, but if the £70 leather care kit is restores by old 911's leather like in the video and covers the whole interior then it seems a bargain. May I suggest samples, like £10 kits with just enough product to do a small section before splashing out on a full kit, the product looks fantastic by the video but these days you can't always trust what you watch online.

Are you will to post this without all the blurring effects on the matte leather?
wow ,,, this is real care
I used the product but a little red dye came off as I wiped off with the microfiber rag. Any advice?

no never use a magic eraser. Thats like finde sandpaper and it gets the coating of the leather off. Always use leather detailing products
Veri nice
Does this stuff dull the seat stitching?

Well done. Where can buy those products?

Absolutely and so easy to use, results right before your eyes!

What DO YOU DO if the color in your leather is clearly coming off when you wipe with the white cloth?
If you see a good amount of colour coming off then I would stop, there is a problem with the dye at this point.
Hi can i use this in my leather streeing wheel?
cheers.
Yes, absolutely. Make sure you thoroughly clean the stitching and any residual oils left from your hands before any application.
Will this work on a 2016 c300 raspberry colored leather?
Swissvax is safe for all modern leather automotive seats, always testing a small area first is a best practice.
Does this work on cream leather?
RESPECT!

Can I use swissvax on my infiniti g35 leather?
Does this work for a shiny steering wheel also?
Yes only if the factory color of the steering wheel was matte out of the factory
My seats are perforated, would I do the same process?
Yes, but we recommend allowing more time for the seat to dry after the cleaning process (before applying conditioner). If possible, try not to spray too much product into the perforated holes.
Is it safe to use a magic eraser instead of a brush? Great vid 👍🏽
No, magic eraser is just like a sanding paper with very fine grit, you'll ruin the leather cause you're going to damage the protection layer of it.
Wow!
Does this work on black seats?
Yes. I have this product for my car that has black leather. Follow the same steps for the same results.
What do you do if the leather has some small color peeling
The leather will have to be restored and re-dyed if the colour is wearing off.
