Agreed. 100%! Currie’s a real poet with one of the greatest voices ever. So melodic and warm with the range of both Lennon & McCartney, he does it all. I truly believe that he deserves the level of notoriety and attention of a Noel Gallagher/Oasis., with far more respect. While I’ve always liked them a lot, in my honest opinion they’ve never achieved the depths of Currie/Del Amitri. Underrated and overlooked, Currie is the genuine article and needs to be celebrated the world over. 🙏🏼✨

There's something about the age of Currie that makes this song feel even sadder now, almost like the story told in the song was now long ago but he's still filled with regret over it and thinks about those old days. Incredible song.

I remember a quote when watching one of the NFL series of SB champs stories... The quote was something like "the spirit is unbound when dreams are realized".
The aging of Currie and the sadness in this songs feels so opposite of that... a dream that should have been realized but never was. Humbling, sad, haunting, but beautiful.

This CD Changed Everything for me literally. It soaked into my soul for 5 years until the summer of '99 I took a 90-day business trip to China and never really returned. So happy to see Justin & his old bandmates sounding as good as ever.

Great performance. I'm just revisiting Del Amiti after being a huge fan in the 90s; and recruiting friends via middle of the night forwarded RUclips clips😄. Man Justin sounds good. They always were, and remain, one of the most underrated bands ever

How has Currie's voice stayed the same? Fantastic! There are very few artists who can sound as good in their 60s as they did in their 30s. Peter Gabriel comes to mind, but not many others.
He's actually still only 56, but I get your point. He sounds amazing :D
