95% of cooking shows would have edited out the opening of the balsamic vinegar. The fact that you didn't, and even had fun with it, is one more reason we love your channel.
Sitting here eating my pepperoni chicken watching nearly 2 minutes of 3 guys trying to open a balsamic vinegar bottle, this is certified RUclips gold! You don't get quality content like this from other cooking channels, that's why I subscribed! (This is right up there with Agadmator answering his door while making a chess video and not editing the dead air time out of the video!)
Showing us advanced cooking skills in non pretentious demonstrations is the best part of this channel. A Canadian in San Diego is fun too. With I was there. 10c and rainy here today.
This man and his crew should have their own national network cooking channel. They are so much better than what’s out there. Keep up the great work Sam max and chance!
Nearly 4 million people subscribe to this channel. Most for free. And the quality is awesome. A national network show, would be expensive, craptastic, and not get near the audience and shared community.
I do believe he used to have a TV show, but he now makes over $1,000,000 a year from his restaurants and RUclips. Worth absolutely every cent in my opinion. It doesn't get much better than this. I have adblock, but I have it turned off for RUclips, so the content providers get the income from the ads. They deserve it for taking the time to make the content for us to enjoy.
How can so many people be “emotionally touched” and “it’s so refreshing” to see all the “funny moments” left in…. It’s just “so honest” “I can’t believe it”
Running the vinegar bottle under hot water was the right thing to do because, when heated, metal expands faster than glass, thus loosening the cap. Just a little bit of not-so-useless trivia! Actually it's pretty helpful; I've been doing this for years 😁
So, my husband and I made this for a Bruins hockey game with a bunch of people, and it was AMAZING!!! I could’ve sucked up the marinade through a straw! I had to share the recipe with everyone, it didn’t last, should’ve made more! Thank you Sam!
I made these last night. They are insane, the vinegar and the flattening of the chicken really tenderise it and it was so juicy! Rested it for about 5 minutes and then chopped it up for wraps with salad and some brie cheese. It is unreal!!
I'm making this one for dinner tonight. I used an immersion blender to chop everything up in the marinade. Worked like a champ. Marinade tastes great. Can't wait for the finished product.
See, this is how you know you're the real deal. You showed us that when cooking in real life you run into issues just like the rest of us and just have to figure shit out. Your channel is the best, dude. Keep on Keepin on bossman.
I love chicken and the profile. My Mother in law would make something similar to this when we went to her house for dinner. She used to asked what I wanted and it was always the same answer. Great recipe, Thank you for sharing.
Me sitting in my family room yelling at the TV "Run it under warm water!!" My dog was a bit disconcerted, but later he'll get some chicken. Thanks for the recipe!
So THANK YOU!! I did this recipe last night and it was SO delicious!! It was reminiscent of the balsamic dressing I loved from cheesecake factory (don't judge me). I made this, with linguine and sauteed mushrooms and it killed! Thank you again! *I made extra to use for steak. Gonna add sauteed onions & mushrooms, over garlic mashed potatoes. Wish me luck.*
Sam-I just made this for my wife for her birthday dinner. Wow. And your marinade is amazing too. I did everything exactly the same. Thank so much for the idea and a great dinner!
This dish is absolutely delicious. My favorite from Sam in several months I must say. Followed direction perfectly - two chicken breasts make two meals. One hot with broccoli, salad and sour dough bread. The next evening chilled, sliced and served over green salad. Both really good. Wrote on receipt to make again and again. Way to go Sam!
I watch every video you do. I'm also a fan of sons of Sam. Guga has some great experiments and some cooking challenges. It would be great to see a collaboration with you and Guga.
Sam, great recipe looking forward to trying it. I did a quick search and there is rosemary paste, I have not tried it yet but I think I will. As for the balsamic bottle, when I run into a stuck lid I will use a kitchen tool like a can opener that has rubber grips to get a little more leverage.
Yes!! Looks and sounds amazing. Wife and I will be making this as soon as we are setup and settled in the new house half way across the country. Can’t wait.
That was funny with the bottle!! Great content. So real and down home with the boys (and girl). Quick grilled chicken recipe. I bought the Japanese mayo several weeks ago and use it on everything.
Cooked this twice for my family on a charcoal grill, about to entertain this weekend with 20 or so more people and it’s going on the grill again. I use boneless thighs. Absolute certified banger.
Everyone else talked about the bottle, I’ll just say that this seems like a super easy and delicious recipe that will be going on my grill this weekend! It’s amazing what sauces and marinades you forget about until you see somebody make it into gold.
I've loved your Asian Grilled chicken recipe since you first put it out. I've made it a dozen times and everyone loves it!! I'm looking forward to making this one next!
looks delicious! ur right if you are near the recommended temperature, start pulling if off because its continues to cook anyway that also goes for fish and beef.
Flattened, marinated up right, NOT OVERCOOKED.... chicken just... works. Thanks especially for "The Struggle Is Real" outtake. We love it when you're vulnerable and real with your YT family.🤜🤛
I have been watching you for years - your chicken cooking and specifically the process before cooking completely changed the quality of my chicken breasts for the better. 🙌🏻
This is similar to a marinade I make. Instead of the balsamic I use the same amount of Worcestershire sauce and some apple cider vinegar. I also never thought to use the mayo, but it looks pretty creamy and I may try it.
Definitely going to make this!! I was hoping you would end your list of "things to always do" at the end of the video with ", . . . . . .and ALWAYS wear sunscreen" as that whole bit reminded me of the Baz Luhrman track 'Everybody's Free To Wear Sunscreen' . Love your work guys😁!!!
Another amazing recipe! Can't wait to try. I went to Amanos in Las Vegas last weekend and had a fat baby. Have you heard of this? It is a hollow bread cone filled with pasta. Ridiculously delicious. I'm trying to figure out how they make them. If you get a chance, check them out. You won't be disappointed. Oh and if you figure out how to make them, oh man!!! I would love to know!
You know, I saw a 9 min video on grilled chicken and was curious how it was going to make it that long then I saw the balsamic incident. Love it guys! Keep it up
I used to throw chicken in a baggy and soak in Italian dressing then grill it ! Got tired of it ! This has peaked my interest! Looks delicious!! Sons of Sam rock !!
lost your channel for the better part of 2 years. im sad that i have missed out on your content for that long yet thrilled i have all these videos to catch up on starting with this one.
i realize its getting warmer but a german dish we love in ND is called "Knoephla Soup" (niff-luh) and it's incredible. something to consider for a rainy day episode
95% of cooking shows would have edited out the opening of the balsamic vinegar. The fact that you didn't, and even had fun with it, is one more reason we love your channel.
This is a great comment and so true.
I had the exact same problem with a bottle of balsamic vinegar this past weekend and suddenly I feel much better about it.
Sam can you make chicken florentine, except super breaded crispy
Exactly why we watch/love this channel.
I keep a pair of Channel Locks around just in case a Cap doesn't want to come Freely.
Thanks for including what other channels would consider bloopers. It makes your personality as a chef a lot more fun to watch

Sorry bout that:)
It's wholesome the father-son moments like the "strength test" that make this channel special.
I had a stroke on Easter so as soon as I can cook I am making this. It sounds good. I'm getting better every day.
Many blessings and a quick recovery.
Get better soon.❤
Oooof. Get well soon. You got chicken calling your name!

He was on Food Network.... He now makes more money doing youtube and he also run 2 or 3 restaurants. I think he's good.

I agree lol. Comments are over dramatic sometimes

I have my chicken all thawed out and ready to go for Sunday dinner tomorrow! Can’t wait.
I love the opening of vinegar bottle drama!
So, my husband and I made this for a Bruins hockey game with a bunch of people, and it was AMAZING!!! I could’ve sucked up the marinade through a straw! I had to share the recipe with everyone, it didn’t last, should’ve made more! Thank you Sam!
It's grilling season in these here parts. Perfect timing for this recipe. Thanks Sam, Max and Chance!
It's always grilling season, no matter what the weather.
I made these last night. They are insane, the vinegar and the flattening of the chicken really tenderise it and it was so juicy! Rested it for about 5 minutes and then chopped it up for wraps with salad and some brie cheese. It is unreal!!
You guys with the balsamic cracked me up
I'm making this one for dinner tonight. I used an immersion blender to chop everything up in the marinade. Worked like a champ. Marinade tastes great. Can't wait for the finished product.
I keep a pair pliers in the kitchen just in case of a cap stuck like that!! Great video!!
I use a rubber or silicone disc for this, works great.
Looks fantastic and will have to try it. Was also thinking that marinade would be great on salmon

Another great recipe for the weekend 😀😀❤!

A pair of pump pliers is an essential kitchen tool for these situations.
I was yelling "Get the channel locks!"
I was going to recommend a strap wrench from the garage toolbox... but most people aren't as 🤓 as me so it's not that common a tool 😅
I tried it…so good! Definitely recommend. Super simple and super tasty. Family loved it
Thank you for leaving in the frustrating parts of cooking. Love you guys

We need a Sam & Guga collab, the internet deserves it!
Guga? No thanks.
I watch every video you do. I'm also a fan of sons of Sam. Guga has some great experiments and some cooking challenges. It would be great to see a collaboration with you and Guga.
what is your best kebob recipe? I would be curious what you come up with. I love your videos. Always leaves my mouth watering.
BalSAMic
We've been doing a version of this for years primarily for salads - but definitely trying this marinade and also love the idea of a sandwich
Great episode/video. For us beginners, would you give us a temperature to set our pellet grills at when cooking your recipes? Thanks
Love the balsamic marinade - will be trying it on some thighs this weekend! Much love from London!
Just watched this one and I can’t wait to use this marinade. Looks fantastic for food prepping. I LOVE all your recipes.
We made this today for dinner. It was delicious, served it with grilled baby potatoes and zucchini. Will definitely make it again.
Thanks for another great idea. What's your take on Char sui.
I’ve tried your tip to pull the chicken early. So perfect!! I do it always now.
Pulling early always pays off.
Yes!! Looks and sounds amazing. Wife and I will be making this as soon as we are setup and settled in the new house half way across the country. Can’t wait.
My husband just grilled this chicken for us for supper and holy schnikes was it ridiculously good! We will definitely be making it again soon!
Awesome... I doing it tonight... I might add a teaspoon of dijon to the mix
I love how you love food. It always makes me want a bite!
New here and needed to hear the tip about "leveling the chicken playing field" Thank you!
That was funny with the bottle!! Great content. So real and down home with the boys (and girl). Quick grilled chicken recipe. I bought the Japanese mayo several weeks ago and use it on everything.
Fun to see what really happens while filming. Made this tonight for my mother's day dinner and it was delicious! Thanks guys for all you do!
Cooked this twice for my family on a charcoal grill, about to entertain this weekend with 20 or so more people and it’s going on the grill again. I use boneless thighs.
Absolute certified banger.
I've done this for years. But I use Balsamic Italian Dressing for a marinade. Tasted fantastic. Love your videos.
I love this channel cuz it just feels like I’m hanging out cooking with my dad and brothers on a beautiful summer day making delicious food
Reminded me of my dad grilling chicken as a kid, thank you Sir! Will have to try!
Another great one, Maestro and thank you. Haven't cooked the chicken yet but the marinade is finger lickin good. Supper is on you!
These look great! My granddaughter loves anything chicken. She gets excited when you put out a new video!
looks delicious! ur right if you are near the recommended temperature, start pulling if off because its continues to cook anyway that also goes for fish and beef.
Homemade Toaster Scrambles!!! I loved these when I was a teenager I wonder if homemade would be better and how much work is entailed.
Nice easy recipe, looking forward to trying it!
Not only one of the best cooking channels… one of the best channels period. Good eats.. good humor… can’t beat it.
I love marinating lots of stuff with balsamic. I will be trying this recipe next time I grill some chicken.
Yummy! My family would love this. I keep a nutcracker handy for those small caps. Dang old arthritic hands!
Omg!! You did something I can eat!!! I so love balsamic and have been looking for a really good marinade!!! I'm soooooo going to do this!!
I’m making this tonight with some smashed potatoes and vegetables! Thanks for the dinner idea Sam!
This is similar to a marinade I make. Instead of the balsamic I use the same amount of Worcestershire sauce and some apple cider vinegar. I also never thought to use the mayo, but it looks pretty creamy and I may try it.
Definitely going to make this!!

another good one. had it tonight. we will be having this again.
This looks great, How long would this hold for in the fridge if the marinade was made ahead?
Sam's chicken marinades are always the best. Will definitely be trying this out soon.
Where can I get one of those “quickening” lids?? Would love to have one. Thanks Sam!
Just started grilling here in NJ and THIS will be one of my first items to try. Thx!
Thank you Sam! I had chicken thawing just in time for this video to drop. Can’t wait to make this tonight!
Love your channel. I was a decent cook but you've helped me improve even further!
Love this. Good job loved seeing who could be the balsamic bottle hero!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I like the food you make, but I love that you work with your boys. Top tier vid as usual.
You know, I saw a 9 min video on grilled chicken and was curious how it was going to make it that long then I saw the balsamic incident. Love it guys! Keep it up
Love it! the bottle that does not want to play nice!!
Mother's Day, Fathers Day and Graduation Day are around the corner and nothing could be a better gift than a Sam the Cooking Guy Knife.
Looked amazing. Putting this one in my saved folder.
I cook Sam’s recipes at least once or twice a week. So much better than anything else
I used to throw chicken in a baggy and soak in Italian dressing then grill it ! Got tired of it ! This has peaked my interest! Looks delicious!!
Sons of Sam rock !!
This just seems to be a slightly upscale version. Looks great though.
I tried this recipe today. I am not a fan of chicken breast but this one, with a side of turkish rice, this is a keeper... you guys need to try it!
I’ve never had a bad recipe from Sam. Excited to make this on the grill
I like to use a similar recipe that basically swaps the soy for dijon, so good
Looks good I’m gonna make the sauce next time
Love all the fun with the guys!
The most popular chicken marinade I’ve ever tried. Everyone wants the recipe! And of course I give the credit to your channel
Make for dinner last night. Fantastic. Thank you.
Made this last night and it was amazing!!
lost your channel for the better part of 2 years. im sad that i have missed out on your content for that long yet thrilled i have all these videos to catch up on starting with this one.
You could put balsamic on a cinder block and it would be delicious. Mmm,Mmm good!! Great recipe.
You guys rock! Not only are the recipes awesome but there's always a good deal of laughs
Sam and team, looks amazinglingly delicious. Thanks for sharing another recipe to add to my ever growing collection of recipes to try. 🙂😋😎❤
Thanks for life tips at the end, Sam💚
Definitely doing this! Chopped on a salad would be really good.
I am preparing this today, with a side of broccoli rabe, and cheesy garlic bread, kickin’ it up, a tad.
i realize its getting warmer but a german dish we love in ND is called "Knoephla Soup" (niff-luh) and it's incredible. something to consider for a rainy day episode
Can't wait to try this! Looks really really good. I hope I don't have as much trouble with my balsamic as you did. But it was very funny!
