Sagat is a real former Thai Fighter. Sagat Petchyindee Inspired the Video Game Character. Khalil trained at Petchyindee academy the same gym that produced Sagat In the 80's. Petchyindee fighters are famous for being comfortable in the pocket and having powerful back legs.
I used to weigh 360LBS. I worked hard for a year and a half on just getting healthy and lost over 100 lbs. At my lowest I hit 215, and then i fell into depression and bubbled up to 250. I don't hate where I'm at, but Khalil just inspired me to get back to what matters and to stop fucking up my life with these behaviors that sabotage the person i am meant to be. Thanks for this bro. Truly inspired by this one. 💯

This my first time watching a full episode of Joe's podcast. I only watch the clips. Only reason I came to watch was because of Khalil and that amazing performance he had against Anders. Guy seems so likable and really inspiring also
I really want to be a world class fighter at 19 like this guy but thought one day, all elite athletes at least started at 15 or less to be at least very successful. I really didnt give myself a real chance even though I started learning jiu jujitsu on Gracies channel, and started getting real shape. Now seeing Khalil who has gone through very similar circumstances and overcome them all has really shed a new light in my life which has been fallen in depression. Thank you Khalil and I hope our paths cross one day and I can say that you really inspired me to be who I want to be.

I really want to be a world class fighter at 19 like this guy but thought one day, all elite athletes at least started at 15 or less to be at least very successful. I really didnt give myself a real chance even though I started learning jiu jujitsu on Gracies channel, and started getting real shape. Now seeing Khalil who has gone through very similar circumstances and overcome them all has really shed a new light in my life which has been fallen in depression. Thank you Khalil and I hope our paths cross one day and I can say that you really inspired me to be who I want to be.
