I totally understand you choosing to not having a dog for the family yet. We had a family dog once, his name was Pido. I was a little older than him, basically we grew up together. When he died, I was 10yrs old. I was hearing him dying that night, and it was very very sad moment for the family. The worst thing was, I unconsciously developed an irrational fear to animals with fur. I don't want them to touch me or get near me because in my head their fur goes inside my pores, nose, eyes and ears. The teeth pierces through my skin. My heart beats fast and my body temperature changes. I was only able to conquer this irrational fear a year ago, I am 32yo now. Because I am more matured and able to recognize what I've gone through. ❤
My first job in 1972 was at Baskin Robins by the UW, and I made $0.99 an hour. I don't know how they got away with that because the minimum wage was $1.60 an hour. 😦
If they are at home or outside with no one around it's ok for kids to be loud. I heard them tell them not to be so loud when they're around others. Also they dont scream all the time. They dont record every minute of their life you know...

So now at almost 52 some of my family members and people who have known me for decades have or had no idea my name is actually Katina. Even in high school I went by Tina because even now I despite it when people mispronounce or misspell my name
If you guys do get a dog one day, try to consider cavapoos! They are literally so sweet, cuddly, good tempered! Picky with food but still super chill and they don’t bark in public. Only at home when they’re excited haha
