Wow. This will carry on with me for life ! I’m so lost for words. My son’s dad was murdered last year and his mother never overstepped when he was living but now she spoils him in place of his dad. This made me just realize a lot of thank you for sharing ! ❤

Especially because on Sam and Nia’s vlog about vlog fest they tried to chase down Benji and Judy to meet them…which was after Sam and Nia’s pregnancy/miscarriage scandal. So a lot of people were running away from them.
I love that you guys are so down to earth and are not caught up in all the drama that goes on in social media! I remember watching your vlog at vid con .. back in the day!! 😁. I always thought it was so sweet of you to open your home to the other vloggers… look like such a fun time!!

1:45 Hi Judy!! Basically there's this thing called the "fried rice syndrome" wherein if boiled rice is left at room temperature for a long period of time it can be contaminated and infected with bacteria specifically B. cereus which can then lead on food poisoning and can cause diarrhea like symptoms if consumed. That is why it can be unhealthy for some people to eat left over rice. But here in the Philippines, that is very rare and eating leftover rice/making fried rice from left over rice is common specially in the morning. Also, Filo stomachs are made strong for that disease hahaha

We always put our leftover rice in the fridge. Leaving rice out at room temp will cause it to grow bacteria and could cause food poisoning. It's great that you haven't gotten sick from doing this but it doesn't mean you can't and it's not recommended to leave your cooked rice out at room temp for longer than 2 hours.
The rice thing was people were leaving rice out for up to a week at a time on their counter 🤮 It killed someone. Not sure why anyone would ever leave out rice for up to a week unrefridgerated. I understand leaving it in the rice Maker over night, but after the next day, it's going to be eaten, in the fridge, or in the garbage
it can grow fatal bacteria in 2 hours

Leftover rice left in room temp for an extended period of time is dangerous but if it’s cooled and then frozen properly it’s fine to eat..

Yeah I think people are just reading it the wrong way. That’s how fried rice is made too, with leftover rice. Like you said, it just has to be cooled down right away and the correct way, then refrigerated after cooling and you’re fine. And just eat it within a couple days and don’t reheat it more than once. People who say nothing happens to them also don’t get that just because though don’t die or vomit, doesn’t mean those toxins aren’t doing anything to your body or building up in your body to negatively effect you later on.

Your right & your late Mom told you that. You will feel the love towards your grandchildren more than your own. It sounds offensive but it’s not really, your parents didn’t stop loving you, it’s bc the grands will be the fruits of your womb an extension from their linage through you. It’s physically & extension of your union spiritually as God made it. If God permits, hopefully you will see your grandchildren & know what your Mother meant.

My husband knows about you both because of me! When we both heard Seattle while watching the show, he said “ohhh Benji and Judy might be on that vlogger fest since it’s Seattle” so when we saw Benji, I hit him so hard like a true Filipina and laughed.
😊It is actual fact about leaving rice out at room temp. IT can be a dangerous bacteria forming issue. You should read up on it Judy. Just to inform yourself.
Most people aren’t keeping their rice out for hours at a time. Cultures from around the world survive on rice and have no issue. It’s becoming a problem for some reason with Gen Z. A lot of them like keeping their food outside especially in college.
My daughter used to do the exact same thing as Kira. She went through a whole squishy phase.

We even have a word for leftover rice. One for when you eat it outside of breakfast/lunch/dinner. I think its just common sense - food goes bad. There are proper storage requirments. For rice, you start getting suspicious when it's at the point of sweating 🫠

I think she meant rice left out to room temperature for long periods of time. There are people for whatever reason leaving their food out for hours or days out in the open and then eating it and passing away.
Yes, it's different with Grandchildren 😁 my daughter always see's my husband with her kids and and says ,"who is this man"? He is so different with them ... Way more different..he gets them whatever they want 😜 tells them don't tell your Mother... Don't want to hear it from her! Don't get me in trouble... Mean while my daughter says when I was a kid all I had to play with was a patatoe that had her initial on it ! She would put food coloring on it and stamp paper plates 😅
