Cantonese Lesson 96: MEASURE WORDS: A LOT OF, FEW, SOME, LITTLE. Interesting and engaging video. I support your video. Watched full the video on Sep 8, 2022 very like. Thank you so much
Just have known your channel recently but i am so love it :) Thank you so much for your effort, i love learning something in short videos like this, easy to remember and not too much difficult as well :x:x:x
Amanda Thank you - is this a phonetic thing? Again I struggle to read ‘caang’ and get the sound of oranges which to me looks more like ‘tzung’ What am I missing please?
Currently I don't do private lesson. I offer listening exercises and worksheet at my Patreon page weekly basis. You can take a look. If I do private lesson in the future. I will announce it here. Thank you very much 😊
I hope you don't mind me saying that we don't say "a bit of books" in English. Maybe "very few books", "one or two books" or "a couple of books"? We all understood no problem and really loved your lesson.
Hi Amanda. (gei2) here has the same meaning with few or a few? Since there's a difference between few and a few so I'm not so sure about that "gei2". Tks sis ❤
We can use gei2 for both of them but for "few", since it means little. We'll add the word "dak1" (only have) before to differentiate the difference. For example, I have few friends only. ngo5 dak1 gei2 go3 pang4 jau5 I have a few friends. ngo5 jau5 gei2 go3 pang4 jau5
Your well structured and friendly lessons are great for reviewing grammar points. They are so helpful🎉
Thank you very much 😊

Really good lessons - how does the spelling of oranges here ‘coong’ equate to the sound which is more ‘tzang’?
it's caang2
This is the pronunciation of jyutping.
Thank you for watching 😆
