This maybe not the place for this but wth. I've been playing for about 3 weeks as a solo slooper and just made PL, so I thought I'd try my hand at skulduggery. There was a FoF happening and I noticed a brig hiding behind Devil's Ridge nearby. I managed to sneak on board as they were all 3 off the boat and barreled by the map table. Twenty minutes later, they killed whoever it was who cleared the FoF and loaded the loot. Next island they, you guessed it, all left the ship. I made off with a Chest of Legends and they never even knew. Not very impressive, I'm sure but it's my first steal and I loved it. I can see why you have 10,000 hours sir. This is addictive. Me and my bro just got camped by a guy who when asked what do you want we have nothing replyed "Your souls". So here I am trying to learn how to defend myself because I have like 6 hours of game time and know nothing.
I was harpooned onto a ship once, I blunder busted the guy immediately, and my teammate proceeded to fill his ship with cannonballs while I spawn camp him.. he clearly wanted me on his ship so I took the opportunity
I’ve been playing for four years and have a lot of accolades but still find that I suck at pvp (I even have glorious sea dog set and phantom curse) but still lose so much in hourglass. Please someone tell me how to become great at hourglass
For boarder defense if the player is low on the ladder you can jump off your boat, one blunder them, then recatch. It takes some skill to do that but is more of a guarantee. When returning fire and your ship is close to the enemy watch where the players position is on the ship. If they are at cannon line shoot cannon line. If they are at wheel shoot wheel so they can't turn out of broadside. Always try to go for advantages. You should try to kill the enemy first, get the mast second, then hit the wheel third. There are some situations where you can't always kill the enemy so make sure you are always trying to get the next advantage. After you have all advantages your goal should be to spread. Spreading out your cannons will insure that more holes are being put in the ship. You can't just hit the same spot on the ship because holes will only stay Tier 3 and hitting a tier 3 won't add any water. When you are repairing mast the other advantage of repairing on the opposite side of the enemy ship is visibility. You are able to see where the enemy cannons are, so don't stand directly behind the mast because you would lose visibility. You do not need to buy cannon crates, wood crates, or fruit crates. Always have a storage crate and make sure you fill it up every once in a while. You can still have a playable amount of supps with just a storage crate. Also if you want to learn movement and aim the best thing to do is board a skelly gally. The skelly gally will spawn a infinite amount of skelly's that will keep attacking you. Its the best way to learn tdm if you can't make a private server or don't have insider. Also if you want to check for tuckers on mast throw a firebomb on it. Fire will spread to all parts of the mast, and will guarantee a hit marker if a enemy is tucking.
What do u do when you kill people on their boat when their waiting to spawn? I started fire bombing thier boat but it didn't really do anything. Is there any way to sink it?
@@MMk-me1xtNo, blunder bombs do not make holes. if the ship is moving and theres a rock nearby u do a hull integrity test and ram into it. or you could sail them out to the red sea if its not 2 far away.
also, if you're playing with friends, never forget, you may not be the best at the helm, your friends may not be the best shot or repairman, but as long as you have a good communication, a well organised group of friend can defeat or at least escape a more competent player or crew... it's great if everyone can win any 1v1, it doesn't matter much if you lose your ship in the process

And, let's not forget the newest cheat of being invisible. Got people you can't see boarding your boat and killing you. There are multiple videos online. So, good luck. I'm not all that great at pvp and I prefer to solo sloop because most of my runs with randoms turn disasterous. I always make sure I'm stocked up on everything before I go about doing world events and shit. I might use skele sloops and galleons to practice using chain shots because I'm absolute rubbish with chains. I don't have any friends to play with that are great at the game and I don't have PL yet so I've been trying to work at it solo. I don't like rolling with randoms.
Good tips but you've really missed IMO the one of the best tips in the whole game. Boarders make a sound when boarding, they make a splash sound that is distinct from the water splash effect. The moment you know this boarders are never a surprise at the very least. Mermaid sound is not a good cue because they can be far enough away to not hear it, and looking for mermaids is not always feasible. You mentioned all the other important ones, aiming for the cannon line and using chainshots. Even the best players lose with their mast down. I'd argue chainshots are OP but here we are.
I can never get chains hots to work for some reason. Looks like they should be a direct hit on the mast and just goes straight through. Am I missing something? No pun intended 😅😂
every time i have to do pvp, my hands start shaking, i get cold, the critical thinking has one idea, but the hands will not make it happen, yet, they will spawn camp so when i try to move right after i spawn, they still manage to kill me, i want to learn pvp, but the conditions aren´t good for me
Sure. He uses a setting in the game that masks the other players' usernames. This is so his streaming crowd doesn't harass players and is generally considered good practice. There aren't a ton of name in the fake name pool. So you'll see names like "Little Ned" and "Nine Cat" over and over.
I just rage quit playing this game for the first time. Was solo slopping trying to coins to buy my first ship they both boarded my ship and had cutless and just kept spawn killing me didn’t try damaging my ship after they boarded.
I’m average at pvp and surprisingly become law in the servers I play in but would rather them just to make pvp more consistent like with hitboxes. Also safer seas should not punish you with lesser rewards and content, pve is the best part of this game.
@@RavenMoonSilkthat don’t matter I promise you, I’m on Xbox and ran into 2 different cheaters 2 days in a row. First one had speed cheat for the sloop, I had full wind control on my sails and they were still faster then me, even tho they were catching zero wind. and they never lost health me and my buddy blunder bussed dude 3 times each and he didn’t even eat food and still never died, the second day basically the same shit but without the boat hack, and his stats were all at zero, never had game time, never had distance traveled, nothing. But was still “goated”
Yeah. Then you have the influx of hackers and cheaters in 2024. It is insane. I have had instances of cheaters with infinite amounts of pineapples in their inventories. Literally a pocket built like a barrel with 100s of pineapples. I have this on video. Guy on my ship (we have no pineapples) eating 30+ pineapples. Where he get them? He never left our ship. He never had a storage crate with him. He just eats and eats and eats. Then, there's the lag switchers. I ran into one of those yesterday. Get near their ship and the lag begins. Get away from it and all is good. Go back near their ship and lag again. The lag was so bad that I couldn't even get a hit registration on their ship. Literally launched 70 cannonballs at their ship, hit about 50 of those, and not a single hit registration. Guy boards our ship, and lag gets tons worse. Then the guy claims nothing is going on. So, his teammates stopped attacking us and checked it out. They even agreed. When the fighting stopped and his lag switch was off, all of a sudden, no lag! Amazing! Guy swears he wasn't cheating. But, we all know what was going on. Report the cheaters. Video everything you can. This year is insane on cheaters. Don't even think about doing hourglass. You won't win more than 1 out of 10 due to cheaters galore. I have had this game since day 1. I am actually good at the game. But, you can tell when people are cheating. If your entire team gets them in a corner and is beating them with a sword and they don't die, obvious cheating. If you hit them with a sword and they don't flinch, cheating. Plain and simple. Record it and report it.

No pun intended 😅😂
every time i have to do pvp, my hands start shaking, i get cold, the critical thinking has one idea, but the hands will not make it happen, yet, they will spawn camp so when i try to move right after i spawn, they still manage to kill me, i want to learn pvp, but the conditions aren´t good for me
and my heart starts racing like from 90-100 bps to 150-180 bps, i just feel the adrenaline, but can´t conrol it
I know what you mean!
10k hours is literally insane.
I have a problem
@@HitboTCThe problem is boredom, and Sea of Thieves is the anwser!
“The Best PvP Tips and Tricks” as narrated by John C. Riley
What can I say but you’re welcome?
Can you explain me the '' coincidence '' Of me watching 3 videos of you, and they all contain the same people as foes?
Womp womp
How many multiplayer games today make you say "I'VE GOT AN IDEA"?
Sea Of Thieves, Global Treasure.
I’m average at pvp and surprisingly become law in the servers I play in but would rather them just to make pvp more consistent like with hitboxes. Also safer seas should not punish you with lesser rewards and content, pve is the best part of this game.
10:44 it's still in the game lol
You can't jump and lunge on Xbox, soon as you hold down the lunge you can no longer jump
Block first.
damn youre so good
I just bought the Night Shine Parrot bundle for my ship and I'm seeing this, I think I've just wasted my money.
Doesn't actually matter
10,000 hours is 416 days of your life bruh
Isnt he making Money of the Game? So its Like a Job?
10k plus so like 100 also
It is literally his job lol
He has a wife and kids and streams approximately 8 hours a day, like a work shift basically
So he makes money on twitch and on youtube
Over 150k on each platforms is more than enough to make a living, especially on twitch
lowk a year of your life spent on a bunch of fun that’s making i bet a good amount of money doesn’t sound like a waste to me
Boats do not park they dock
The wheel is the Helm
Ropes are called lines
Thanks for all these tips Ps5 April
10,000 hours?!
You don't have 10k hours but 7k hours, I've looked to your xbox profile
Could have a steam account too...
Damn, illuminati confirmed bro!!!
According to steam.. you only have 6923 hours on sea of thieves.. good tips however
That is only my Steam account and not factoring in the other accounts I’ve played on over the years 👀😂
@@HitboTC ah, gotcha. Both you and Mason have some awesome and entertaining videos 👍
I play safer seas. All upgrades are cosmetic, so it doesn't matter if you get less rewards
😂😂😂 playing safer seas in a pirate game? Sad
@JavaSot I don't think this game is going to get any bigger, and once the sweats drive out the ps5 crowd, it's over.
@@jacktastick yeah no you’re just pathetic
Best PvP tip you can get: Don't play pvp. Cheaters everywhere and Rare doesn't give a single sht about it.
Turn on console and controller only match making setting. Less likely to get paired with PC, who seem to be the main hackers
@@scotttehog8357ur jus bad probably
@@scotttehog8357you cant cheat on consoles looks like you are just bad
@@TylersatnavvvI had a dude blundering me thru the floor today. Solid wood floor 🙃
If anyone would like to join a new player friendly guild for protection and help reply your Xbox tag!!!
i feel like hitboxes are shit, i hit guy in face and he didnt even die even it registered hit
Did you turn on server side authoritative hit markers?
what's your tattoo
The PvP in this game gives me cancer
Did you call me a filthy tucker
We are filthy. Salt water does not clean us proper.
@@HitboTC fair enough 🤣🤣
I apologize that your pirate is built like that.
2:15 aimbot fail ^_^
u cant be real
Found a glitch that makes you fireproof which is kinda helpful
Yeah I'm not being sweaty enough to sword lunge ladder people.
That actually leaves a fucking sour taste in my mouth. Shit design.
