One of the nicest Buick Grand National I've ever seen. 👍🏁
Fr
Absolutely! Stunningly gorgeous ride!
Those wheels are perfection!
The stance and the way the rear is sitting on the wheels is perfection 👌🏽
I'm in lust😎
Absolutely gorgeous. That wheel fitment is impeccable
Yes... that meaty tuck (no homo) in the rear arches is ridic.
iT SURE IS!!!
Love that stock design
I got a 1987 with 80 k miles and would never change it and usually don't like one been changed to LS but this thing is done right on the money If I had money I would have one done like this !!!!!!!! You guys hit it outta the park !
The best Grand National ever got everything right power and looks. Phenomenal the owner has great taste
It's my favorite build that I've seen in years. You guys knocked it out of the park with this one!
9.5/10 I'm drooling over hamdsome GN BUT the flaired wheel wells.....not so much IMO
You guys should out a window in the conrwr so we can see the Gages I wanna see How fast y'all are going
Probably the coolest GN in the world right now.
Love seeing 80's cars with a modern makeover.
Stunning. I'm out of adjectives to describe how incredible your cars are. Roadster Shop sets the benchmark for modern street machines. Congratulations on another incredible product. P.S.: would appreciate a walk around in your videos featuring the engine, interior, suspension. You do an incredible job featuring the build process on your website, but it would be icing on the cake to see a minute or two on the details within the videos. Thanks so much for posting these up.
Detailed overview coming soon.
@@RoadsterShop Love the car.. What is the cost and build time.. Thanks
Will you see car

Love that whistle. Congrats Scott!
That's what I love and wait to hear for, that whistle almost like a jet 🛩️.
This car is definitely, easily in top 3 coolest effing cars I've ever seen in my entire life. Wow, man. No words....
Great to see an owner so happy with their car. Such a bad ass ride. Hope he has many miles of enjoyment.
Anything connected to the roadster shop is going to be world class
Yea buddy they finally supped up a grocery getter and turned it up10 notches from Buicks measly intention. A 427 with twin turbos and 1600 hp. That's beyond supercar. Man didn't think a G-body would sit like I desired it in my GNX mental mock-ups. Low as hell with carved out fenders to use full height and width of those original flares. RS molded the flares into the design and filled in the wheel wells perfectly. right motor, right boosted, right stance. My Monte Carlo has a 5" drop in rear and 2" dropped spindles on 15x8 + 15x10 w/245/60 (f) and 275/60 (r). Sits nasty but no where as nasty as this rocket. Excellent craftsmanship Jeremy and crew.
That is one BADASS Buick!!!
COME ON, how about a little video showing the engine and frame. PLEASE! 😁 Awesome car! Well done!
More vids on this coming soon - check out the build gallery in the meantime! 🤘
The look on that man’s face says it all you guys should be very proud
Well done! Usable manageable power is the dream. With more than enough on tap. That feeling of infinite reserve is pure driving pleasure.
This is hands down the best Grand National ever built. Absolutely insane. Perfection. Well done to all involved👌🏻
Absolutely the most bad ass GN ever, amazing build. The stance, the wheels, interior , the screens so well integrated . What an amazing car.
From cool cruiser to evil bitch with a slight push of the go pedal…you guys killed it on this one!!
Everything's on the car is perfect. Stance, color, lightning rods, power and got to love all the smiles it creates.
This is my favorite Buick grand national entire world. It looks awesome. Sounds awesome 😎
Beautiful GN, that stance is right on. Love hearing those turbos.
More reaction vids with this thing!
What a truly incredible build. Will always love the look of these cars. Great job, team. much respect. Would love you guys to see the wife and I backyard, hehehe. None are done, but we are working on them.
First time seeing you guys and I love it. I owned a gn and wish I still had it and the $$ to do this. It doesn’t matter how much hp, what matters is how big the smile is on the owner. That tells me everything. I was smiling from ear to ear watching the owner’s experience
I love the stance on it ,I love the 1600 hp love this car….. next to a 1964 Chevy impala SS convertible, this 1987 Buick grand national are my dream cars
What a build!! Hats off to all involved
If I had a GN I’d literally go all the way to to Illinois from California to have it built by tht same team. Every detail about this car is mind blowing!! 🤯
This build is breathtaking(literally, based on the ride along reactions :) ). Well done, RS.
Unbelievable attention to detail and the engineering is amazing 👏 Perfect 😍
Scott is a Patron of the Art of Hot Rodding.
This is such a beautiful Grand National Restomod ...great build👍👍
my dream car , i remember my 1986 , miss this car so much fun with in drag racing , love it
Amazing. What a machine. I remember when they came out. Even as a kid in ‘87, we knew, future CLASSIC. And it is. What’s on the back, 315’s ? That’s some wide rubber.
Everything goes in the car look at how those rims fit it perfectly
Imagine pulling up next to a Demon170 and easily showing him your taillights! AND the amazing thing is doing that build DEFINITELY would cost so much less than a Demon170! I had one new in 1987, spent about 45K with a Kenny Dutweiller twin turbo 4.1 liter and with drag radials went 10.5 at 131 atvE-town back then and had to feather the go pedal until it was past the 1/8 mile mark. That motor 35 years ago made 903HP on Kenny's dyno at 14 pounds of boost! Can just imagine what 1600HP would do today with current tires and chassis setup!
I saw this vid and now searching for one. That thing looks incredible 👌
Dream setup, man that dude has an amazing car. Absolutely beautiful. Wow
Those cars are beautiful and so classy. That being said... Holy Crap ! Can't get any better.
I have always been, and am still in awe of this car!
Love it! A monster, a well done one at that. Love the new turbo 8 logo made from two original turbo 6's!
Absolutely beautiful build but just another souped up regal, grand national badges should have come off with the V6. I get the LS platform is so reliable and so potent but it just isn’t a GN without the V6. But the stance of the car is byfar one of the nicest if not the nicest I’ve ever seen. Glad the owner is happy! That’s all that matters!
I agree
My HIGH SCHOOL PHYSICS TEACHER had one..... He ripped it every day after school out the parking lot 😂... he was teaching about friction coefficient...on the asphalt 😂
Thanks for the video definitely appreciated!!
That thing is badass bro! My guy has a nice watch too!
That stance is just mesmerizing
So sick, that dash cluster is so rad!!!!!
I saw the full video showing the build. Really nice car
Wow wow wow! Just insanely beautiful! Nice AP and Bluezy.👏👏
I love it, it’s the best running, and looking GN that I’ve seen. Best of luck with it!
Love them old Grand Nationals!Back in the day best i could afford at the time was an new 86 Iroc-z Camaro.
Another Killer fuckin build by the Roadster Shop! Damn guys it never disappoints, everything you guys do is amazing and over the top in quality and design.
I remember back in my racing days the Grand Nationals were always hard to beat
That GN is crazy and BADA$$ 🔥
Owner driving it with his AP on 💯🔥
this is what growing up is all about.
Lemme just shift one of my many knobs here... BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAm 200mph's in 3 seconds lol
This is beautiful me personally I would have gone with the black rims but this is gorgeous
Congratulations to the new owner!! RS y’all done it again and will always be a fan of your work!!!
SO much POWER so little tire 🙂 Serously wicked Buick! Dam good job of keeping it looking right!
Best looking G-Bodys' ever made👌...
Super clean grand national
God I would love to own that!!! Wish it was mine!
Cool as hell car and very cool owner. Enjoy that GNX in good health. Long live car culture!!
That is probably one of the best builds that i ever seen...Can you give out some info on the suspension that is used?
Full Roadster Shop FAST TRACK IRS chassis
...With a Lenco setup, wow,nice!!
ABSOLUTE BEAUTY!!!
I had one of these in 1992 for 2 years very fun car , 2 positions on the gas pedal all the way up and all the way down , they were headaches back then if you didn’t have a good mechanic, no internet etc , If you had questions you asked the grey haired guys , This car is a different animal I love the twin turbo logo on the head test and the gear shifter is intimidating as hell 😂 , Enjoy the car ! Great build !
Roadster shop builds the best looking cars of anyone.
That's the baddest GRAND NATIONAL IVE EVER SEEN , DAMN !!! SHE BAD !!!
Wow the way this National squats is soooo F'ing badass!!!!!!!!!!
One of the Worlds Best 👏👐
I get why owners swap in turbo v8s but with a no expense spared build like this would have been rad to go with a crazy, over the top twin turbo v6 build just to stay true to the general architecture.
Thanks for sharing
That is Amazing. Looks Sick and sounds insane.
Fun facts i work at a gm dealer and when the gnx came out it out performed the corvette in every way less engine better look steel to fiberglass the gnx or a T type regal could do it too. The gnx was truly a factory built G body that was a force to be at stoplight gran prix with
Dope dope dope!! Never seen a lighting shifter in a gn 🔥
WOW! Love it! Amazing build!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Hell yeah. ..... Mind blowing 🤯 .... Cool 😊...... Greetings from india 🤘🏻👌🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

One of my favorite cars all time - balls all out
Wow, that truly is a work of art 🎨 👏
love that sloppy door closing sound at 3:25....brings me back to 87'.

Owner is cool as shit! Hook me up with a job , I’m trying to live that life bro
