- Comedy King, Kevin Hart stopped by the MagnaFlow booth at the 2022 SEMA Show to unveil his latest project in The Kevin Hart Collection: a beautifully upgraded 1987 Buick Grand National GNX, "The Dark Knight" built by @salvaggiodesign6125 and Sean Smith Designs.

love this car, happy you stayed true to a GN and keeping it a V6 unlike the roadster shop. I also love what roadster shop did but wish they would have stuck with a V6 and not went LS.

Too bad they added a '' hood scoop '' from Walmart. Messed up the cars look.
@@nando03012009 the hood is carbon fiber. The bulge was left “naked”. You can see that it’s functional when the hood is lifted.
I get that it’s not your taste but I would say that it’s plenty tasteful and top notch quality.

I support magnaflow, 03 6.0 hd quadrasteer 2 in 2 out. Installed 11 years ago, the sound is worth it.
Now this is how u restore or even upgrade a grand national 1000% beautiful the best 1 I have ever seen nice work amazing 👏
I've seen plenty of GN restos and builds. My favorite car hands down. Don't mind the V8 swaps but that's not GN anymore so this is definitely up there wit the best I've ever seen because you have to have just a vision... Money jus makes it easier to obtain.

Most of kevins cars have a custom step stool so he doesnt have to climb into the booster seat however this build lowered the whole car to alleviate the. Step stool.

I already like Kevin Hart but after this video I like him even more! MAN I would love to have a drink with him and walk around that GNX! These cars are very dear to me. My closest buddy had a 1985 T-Type when we were just getting our licenses. He intercooled it and upgraded the turbo and that thing was FAST! You couldn't see over the hood when you floored it (Suspension came later). Sadly he sold it for like $2500 bucks or something in ~2000.

So they used the Twin turbo LF4 but converted to single turbo. That’s insane…I want to hear it so badly!!

Could have bought the TA performance aluminum v6 block that's what I went with all Buick parts making 1000hp running high 8s @ 155mph

Mix feeling about the v6 but cool build
Imo i think they could've modified a bit better giving it a retro style while keeping the essence of the GN. To me it just looks like a GN T Top with a couple shinny new parts.

I'm ok with an LS swap. Just not in an original Grand National. Take a regular Regal and do the swap. But glad they stuck with a V6 from GM for this build. (They did say that right?)
