You can get dummy sensors or a kit to extend the o2 sensors harness to reach the new spot. Just simply tuning/re-mapping without sensors will be detrimental to the engine in the long run as it'll run rich without the ability to self adjust for the air fuel ratio and can cause hot spots, abnormal carbon build up, and washing the cylinders
I own an F10 550i. The smoke comes from the N63 engine's oil burning problem. Almost all N63s burn oil and produce that smoke that comes out of the exhaust
