Looks easy enogh I actually consider doing it myself (even though I already have a new laptop). Do I need a specific SSD (Size, connection type, etc.)?
Depends on you laptop, the older ones had SATA interface so you need a SATA SSD, newer ones have M.2 nvme or M SATA. You need to find that first to get the fitting drive.
@@TechTronic9000 And they all come more or less in the same, fitting size? My old laptop looks identical to yours in the video but I know laptop models can sometimes be misleading. I got mine in 2013 though so I think it's safe to assume it's SATA. But I'll check anyway. Thanks!
With thanks you helped me see the end I was missing on the frame to get it home, as bad light away from workshop. So thanks for this it’s been another pair of eyes!
I wanna say thasnks for this video, I own an old Asus K55A and even though it stills works decently after 10 years I'd like to upgrade the memory and I came across this video, so I decided to upgrade the hdd to and SSD as well. I'm not an expert in this things but if you Sir or anyone could please guide me on how do can I reinstall Windows and all my stuff back it would be awesome... Thank you so much for this video, content like this deserves more likes of course.

From what I remember the K55 doesn't have a M.2 port, so you need to use the SATA port to install a SSD
