Slipping and blocking isn't on a bike. He outlander Oscar a lot. Delusional Floyd haters in denial as usual. Ali had the same type of fools sooking about him when he made his opponents miss. Just redneck dumbasses
@@Stateballrus Floyd wasn't on his bike, he stood against the ropes and let Oscar throw ineffective flurries which he rolled, slipped or blocked. There are four criteria used to score a round in boxing. 1. Effective Agression 2. Ring Generalship 3. Defense 4. Clean Hard Punches. Oscar wild flurries weren't effective, and Mayweather get's credit for his defense, not to mention he landed the more clean punches. People don't understand, that when you throw a wild flurry against Mayweather and he makes you miss, that's scored for him. Mayweather is the most accurate puncher in the history of the point, hence why most fight will always be scored him. In the 2nd half of his career, he didn't throw as much, but when he did he landed clean and at a higher percentage than anyone else. He punches were clean, and his defense was off the charts. If you know boxing, He wont this fight easily 9-3. Good defense scores you points despite what people may believe. Floyd isn't a runner, which is someone just constantly moving around the ring so that neither fighter is ever in range to engage. He's defensive but he''s stand right there in front of you and let you throw wild flurries. He scores by making you miss, and countering. It also tires fighters out hence why so many guys seem to mysterious gas in the late rounds against him. People really need to learn how pro boxing works. It's not simply counting punches like the amateurs.
Not only did Oscar beat this guy, Castillo as well, but for some reason the sport of boxing protected this chump. There are three clear defeats on Floyd, the paper might say different, but the real fans, the ones that actually count know he lost at least three times. Oscar fought every champ he could fight in there prime, who did actually, other than Oscar and Cotto, whom by the way hurt Floyd real bad even though he lost, did Floyd encounter in there prime? NONE and also never gave Manny a rematch after fighting him with all kinds of clauses. And let us not forget Maidana. Now we see these so call fighters who won't fight each other, picking and choosing who to fight with. Because of this picking and choosing, these so called champions will go month and even years before we see them in the ring again. Much respect for Oscar, Trinidad, Cotto, Roy, Mosley, Vargas, and a whole group of fighters of the 80s and 90s. Thanks for the video.
Not a big DLH fan (at least as a promoter) but despite being way past his best, he is right - he really did win that fight! Every time I have watched it since, still the same verdict as the first time. They robbed DLH. Just like they did to Maidana and Castillo. He must have rented out his judge and referee to Haney against Garcia too. Too obvious. Sell outs.
😂😂 you literally should give up watching boxing. Floyd landed way more punches than Oscar and controlled the entire fight. Oscar was hitting Floyd's arms all night. In no universe did Oscar win that fight.
then you scored shots by mayweather that were blocked by de la hoya's gloves, you didnt score de la hoya's body shots which were some of the hardest, cleanest punches in the fight, you didnt score for effective aggression and ring generalship, or all of the above. Your scorecard is beyond the realm of objective possibilities if you know how to score a fight.
I’m Filipino-American but I grew up a huge De La Hoya fan. And it was so sad watching him get absolutely dismantled by Pacquiao, even though I was also a Pacquiao fan. Don’t forget his first fight against maidona , look at Mayweather’s body language and face when they announce him as winner of that fight , it was so obvious that he was surprised ,his body language and face say it all all

Oscar won that fight. You have to beat the champion clearly to take his title. This is why Floyd fought the majority of his fights in Las Vegas and never out of the US. He was always assured of the outcome. He also lost to Maldana 1 and Castillo clearly beat him.
I’ve never agreed with that stupid idea. 💁🏼♂️ Where exactly in the rules of boxing does it say that? Have you even ever thought about what you just parroted? Foh Oscar faded down the stretch. Lost the championship rounds like he did in most of his big fights.
