I don't understand why some Filipinos say she's not one of the power houses in their country. I don't get it… She clearly is, even if she sings and dances often.
They forgot how good Sarah vocally because she focused mostly in Pop songs. But during her Unified concert with Regine she proved that she still got the pipes to belt and slay high notes. ☺
She's the highest paid singer in the Philippines .. You know now where haters are coming from 😂
Rosannasfriend Those Filipinos more likely belongs to different fandom. They try to compare her to their idols but to no avail, Sarah is Sarah, no comparison! You can’t compare an apple to and orange. Filipino singers are unique in their own ways. Some Filipinos/foreign reactors prefers belting and since Sarah doesn’t do it always, she’s labeled as mediocre singer or not as good like those belters that they’ve been reacting to. Belting is not really a basis of being a good singer, it’s how you connect or convey the message of the song with your audience and it should come from the heart.

Coach Yazik, thank you for doing reactions to the Asia's Popstar Royalty Sarah G. Some of us got you already that you like Sarah G but you love Morisette and that is fine. The truth is nobody can force you to like Sarah G even more. Also, we can assure you that Sarah G is so very proud knowing that one of her babies (Morisette) is gaining recognitions and being loved by foreign reactors like you. You should check out Darren Espanto too, he's another Team Sarah's pride.
Some of us also agree that Morisette can belt those incredible notes. She really has a lot to offer. When you ask her to perform and hit 4 octave, she will raise it and give you 5 octave even if unnecessary. When you ask her to perform the song soulfully as a tribute to an icon in the Philippine Music Industry, she will put a whistle on it that will shiver you and rethink if there was really a whistle part from the original arrangement of the song. That's how she really is and we acknowledge that. In fact, Morisette is really one of the promising belters nowadays. We can assure you that Sarah G is really proud of her (Morisette) knowing that her babies (other Team Sarah) are really making their names in the Music Industry and getting recognitions from foreign reactors like you. The only difference of foreign reactors like you from us is you guys are focusing more on the technicalities if lower notes to high notes were delivered/hit perfectly. Unlike us we have this standard that serves like a criterion "Singing it from the heart". It is like 'The one sang me a song but the other one told me a story'. It is safe to say that majority of the Filipinos don't care if you are hitting the highest notes in the universe like no others. We don't really care that much if you are belting like the sky is the limit but we do care if you tell us a story when you sing, we understand what is the song all about, we can relate to it or if not, we can be able to put our shoes into it. What we care the most is when you are hitting the high notes but you bring us to the world of what you are singing all about. You make us stop on what we do in a moment just to watch you, listen to you and decipher every lyrics of the song. And that's what makes Sarah G stands out among them. That's what separates her from them. She has this charisma that commands viewers. Sarah G has areas of improvement in singing that she is still working on and we are okay with that because we see her humility that she listens to us and she never stops learning and keep on improving herself. Also, she knows her place. Eventhough Regine keeps on telling her that she is now the royalty of the royalties and she has the crown on her head, she refuses that fact. For her, Regine is the patron saint of every aspiring Filipino singers which is really true. You are right when you say that Regine is untouchable. Even Sarah G wouldn't dare to take the throne even though Regine says that Sarah G is her successor. Instead, she made her own path and continuously making her own name. She was able to make bigger names in the industry to acknowledge her. Her name 'Sarah G' has a value. When you mess up with that name, you can expect that it is going to be 'you versus the people of the Republic of the Philippines', because everyone wants to defend her. From oldies to young ones, big names to ordinary ones.

She was 24yo at that time and she always incorporate a song dedicated to our Lord Almighty in her every concert the reason why she raises her head as if talking to someone greater. Facts: Even if we combine Regine and morissete’s achievements, their achievements are not even half of what Sarah has achieved. Definitely because Sarah Geronimo conquered every facet of Showbiz industry-movies, endorsements, dancing, singing (she can do almost all genres) hosting, coaching( most wins in the voice) Anyway, she still holds the title for Highest Grossing Local Concert in the Philippines which became the first concert in ASIA ( if I’m not mistaken ) to be shown in Netflix. Awards? Google says it all.

Hindi gumagamit si Sarah ng autotune sa mga live performances niya, sabihin mo yan kung may proof ka na gumagamit siya ng autotune, ang ginagamit niya ay pre-recorded vocals pag sumasayaw siya pero pag ballad ang kanta niyan hindi yan gumagamit ng backtrack vocals. Kakahiya sa idol mong sigaw ng sigaw, garalgal na boses because of her poor technique tsk tsk.
