Is that G.E. Smith from the SNL band? He's killing it here and helps make this a solid cover with some nice originality that doesn't destroy the feeling from the original great song. This kicks some ass when it comes to seriously good quality of a LIVE performance - both in the playing/singing and in the sound recording excellence. Sumbitch! 4x in a row and not tired of listening to and watching it. Powerhouse good. Sure wish I had been there for that concert...
If this is just the rehearsal, I can't wait for the real deal. Moonalice I'm on board. I like what I hear, see and feel from your band and its collective energy. Spreads the word for you, happily. Peace, Ed
Wow! Just learned of these guys tonight, cuz they are playing in AVL Fri night. And I plan to be there (before seeing Tea Leaf Green, too). Can't wait. Awesome! How have I been missing this all this time?!?!?!?
it gets my vote... i like the beat, it's cool to hear a new take on an old song..and ann gots the feelin down pat. it never ceases to amaze me that ppl r such haterz w/ comments... if you dont like it, there's a little button on your keyboard u can click anytime... PEACE
@jewlz123454 That's G.E. Smith on his signature Telecaster. Awesome artist. Played with Hall & Oates for 6 years, Bandmaster of SNL for 10. He's played with practically everyone. Some may think his playing and attitude he exudes onstage makes him look arrogant. I believe he just plays from the heart and soul. Check out his telecaster video and you can get a feel for what makes him G.E.
There’s a great video with GE going over the Mike Bloomfield Telecaster, “The guitar that killed folk”! That thing had been mangled almost into unrecognisability (is that an actual word?) yet still sounded amazing.
What a most amazing version of the rock classic. This group is damn good!

Barry Sless on pedal steel. Very cool...!! Barry is such a great player.
to hear such a keyboard heavy tune with all guitars is really innovative!
I was lucky to see this song performed live a few days ago. Moonalice played a concert in Greensburg, PA. The crowd loved them.

GE is so criminally underrated as a guitar player....the whole band kicks ass.
Always good to have a babe in the band!
Seeing Roger with long hair just makes me smile

Outside of Procal Harlem this is the best version of this song I have heard. Female singer is so good.
what is that weird effect on the vocals-sounds like they have the Flu?
They have a RUclips channel, but guess you probably know that. duh!
Please stop using autotune... If you had anything useful to say it definitely died with the autotune.
