Too much too unpack here - it's so good. The fidelity to the version of the RS. The virtuosity of the playing and singing. But the tone of the guitars - amazing - between the guitars themselves, how they're miked, amplified and mixed - chef's kiss!
Thank's!
... the blue light was my blues, the red light was my mind.
Robert Johnson from beyond the grave : "you guys doin' good with my song - keep it up"
First I discovered the daughter and now the father! Very beautiful cover and powerful voice!
I'm a diehard Rolling Stones fan, just love this band so much. Your rendition of "Love in Vain" is absolutely fabulous, so wonderfully played. You are both extremely talented and do this song justice with your virtuosity as well as your depth of feeling, and the incredible sound of your guitars blending together. Thanks for posting, it really made my day to listen to you. Félicitations a vous deux, vraiment magnifique de votre part. Merci beaucoup.
Thank you Michael !
Hi Dominique! So, I just went and watched/listened to Eric Clapton’s Cover>>Yours is so much better, so much more with feeling, there is no competition! Wow! I am just “blown away” by the empathy you and Margot present here!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰
Thank you, great interpretation..
That was simply spectacular! Every aspect was”right”! Beautiful duet of guitars and spot on! Margot is so intense!❤️❤️💝💝🌹🌹😎😎
Thank you Dave! And yes, she's intense...

Absolutely wonderful. Yeah, that is live and life and love! Margot Dad your are the best!
A really great version! congrats!
Sweet, sweet blues. Merci.
One of my favorite songs and redone by so many people. This is one of the better renditions, especially without a backup band. 👍
Love you guys ,keep it up…a musical family, great stuff and so talented
Awesome cover! I don't believe I've ever heard a 12-string played slide before. Beautiful rendition, folks. Thank you for sharing.
What talent the two of you have. wonderful really made me feel good.
Apenas uma palavra...excelente!
That sound you just heard was my mind being blown. Fantastic!
We heard that sound but...stay safe! Thank's
Excellent, pure bliss, acoustic trip on an immortal song from the Stones.
This competes with the Stones' version of 1972 in Texas with Mick Taylor playing lead. Until now, I preferred that Stones version. Now I am no longer so sure. What an awesome father/daughter team!!!
Thank's!
This is so good. The acoustic, and the slide, and the vocals. wow.
Thank's!
You guys were great !! One more time, You guys were great !! Let me finish my praise by saying, you guys are great !!!
This is superb! Thank you both.
good stones cover keef did great on his acoustic work on this song...
Absolutely beautiful✌️❤️
Thank's!
I think they won the family talent show! The guitar she was playing is beautiful. A Gibson from what I could tell. Nice slide on 12 string pops!
Thanks Mike!
@@frenchleftovers Music as it should be; with feeling. Thanks. Could you both do your magic with Dead Flowers?

Merci!
To be frank I have never heard this tune before, but, you two play so beautifully. Lovely.
Thank's!
you're not a Stones fan then?
@@rstthomas Correct. Not a fan as in fanatic but I do think some of their music is exceptionally good. Two lesser tunes that I think are really good are Dead Flowers and Sweet Virginia. Paint it Black, Gimme Shelter also great. Also great are Brown Sugar, Angie (so emotional), Route 66 and Honky Tonk Women.
In fact now that you have made me recall them to mind I think I will play them right now. Thanks.
great, love the slide on the 12 string....
Real Nice...

Superb!
Bonne version de ce titre que vous avez effectué à votre feeling !
Fantastic version...
Thank's!
one of the best versions.
Thanks!
Sounds really fine , sweet to my ears enjoying very much !!! ... excellent performance , very tight , great guitar sync. , timing , and have to say "nice , very right vocals" !!! ... p.s. , listening to again , also saved ... lol , looks like a D12-20 strung up with 6 string set , the lol is because I play my 1969 D12-20 as a 6 string for 1/2 ut's life now , lol , fine guitar ...
That old Maya 12 sounds great for slide and anyway, it is no more able to bear the tension of 12 strings
Love this 😍
Thanks!
Well, Charlie Watts died today. Shortly before my brother Charlie found out he was dying of cancer, he received a phone call from Keith Richards. When I visited his deathbed, the day before he died, my earliest childhood friend, Johnny D., was standing by my side. He had worked for The Stones, so he also knew Charlie Watts. Among my brother Charlie's effects were a box of tapes of him and Keith Richards singing ol' blues tunes; one of which was-'You Can't Kill Me Twice'-which, if I remember correctly is also a Robert Johnson tune. After my brother died, one of the first things I did was call up my old girlfriend, Margot.
Bravo!!!
Wonderful cover. Love the arpeggiated picking.
Thanks!
wonderful, great job
