  • Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), a candidate for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination, spoke at the First in the West Caucus Dinner at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. He focused his remarks his agenda as president and the need for a large voter turnout on Election Day.

    I understand that this is not exactly true. But this is the sort of thing people should consider, they are electing some one to manage government and our national wealth, in the peoples interest, not just the interests of big business. Sander's record shows that he can't be bought.

    Right now according to some estimates, over 75% of Nevada is owned by the Federal Government, and under the final manage of the executive of the United States, i.e. the president. Bernie Sanders getting elected would mean these lands could managed for the benefit of working people, and not the multinationals. All this commonwealth should be used for the people not the 1%.
