How to Replace Wiper Blades in BMW 3 Series and BMW 5 Series
In this video I show quick and easy steps to change wiper blades in BMW. This video shows how to replace wipers on BMW F30, but it is applicable to other BMW 3 Series and 5 Series vehicles.
Before you start - you will need to put wiper blades in Fold-out position
- Switch the ignition ON and then Switch the ignition OFF
- Press the wiper lever up and hold until wipers stop at vertical position
- Press on sides, pull out and lift up
- Replace wiper blades
- Make sure wipers back down before reactivating wiper system
- Switch the ignition ON and then Switch the ignition OFF
- Press the wiper lever up and hold until wipers move to resting position

Nice video but imagine if your wiper arm snapped back onto your windshield. So dont ever let the wiper arm go or put one of your mats on your windshield to protect it in case the worst would happen. Sizes 20"and 26"? Rain X Expert Fit? Please advise. Thank you!

2:02 For European spec vehicles, the wiper stick should be briefly held DOWN, NOT UP to get the wipers into the vertical position.

Works on the g20 but seeing the clip in from the other side would have been helpful. Warning that for Aerotwins they need a bit of "persuasion " to clip in.
