    Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.. I'm a woman, and was prescribed oral finastaride today, along with minoxidil. The doctor did ask me to do my own research. But, she didn't make the side-effevts sound too serious. She was a lot more vehement that I shouldn't take oral minoxidil. I bought the finastiride but wouldn't have taken it without researching it. I came across this channel and all your stories. There are no words for how horrified I am. I am so so so sorry for the intense pain you'll are experiencing. I'm deeply grateful to you all for making this public. You saved me, and probably so many more people today. I wish you all a way back to healing and health. This will be my prayer

    I feel for you man. A lot of the same symptoms here. It’s devastating how extreme this condition is despite its lack of medical recognition

    Thank you Tom for your courage. I'm sorry this is happening to you. You seam like a smart and pleasant person. When you talked about your symptoms, the emotional numbness and being completely desinterested in basically everything, I saw myself in what you said. It also begun when I was 24. Whenever you think nobody understands you, doctors or close family, know that there are some people whom you've never met who can relate to your suffering. Don't give up please.

    Thank you for sharing your story, Tom! People don't realize what they're risking when they're taking this drug. The horror of the mental symptoms in particular are almost impossible to imagine until you've been through it yourself. But you described it really well.

    I think it's important to have people you can confide it. Whether that's friends or family it's good to be able to be open about your emotions and experiences and be able to talk to them whenever you need.

    We have to increase pfs victims and funding it monthly. If 200 pfs victims fund 1k monthly it would help a lot.

    So do PFS sufferers frequently lose romantic feelings and all attraction the way PSSD sufferers do.

      yes of course

      yes, there is a reduced libido, but often when we do have romantic feelings it just doesn't "connect" to the genitals

    • @matty96465
      @matty96465 Год назад +7

      Yes, the anhedonia and genital numbness are identical PSSD. Considering the drugs act on the same neurosteroidogenic enzymes, it is highly likely that PFS and PSSD are the same illness.

    Yes, the cognitive change ,post propecia poison use, is very frightening - i've experienced it constantly - it's as if everyone your talking to, blends into the room your in - no differentiation between people and objects, a desk, a lamp, a person - all the same in a white washed, disconnected mental haze. I also experienced severe vertigo (the world spinning around you) during a jog. Terrifying condition to be in, especially when nobody believes you. I wasn't able to sleep for two weeks straight - after stopping the poison due to severe chest pains.

      @@vikassharma8358 Do not take this poison. If you get sick from it - you will be disabled for a long time, and very sick with no cure. Suicidal, because of the suffering from the illness. Work out. Shave your head. Enjoy a purposeful life. Fuck society and vanity.
