Daenery's had such a journey. Emilia Clarke is a fantastic actress! I just felt so heartbroken for Drogon. I cried. The music was awesome. Hope Drogon gets a spin off & hopefully his happy ending

So basically... the woman who started out as a slave -abused and sold by her brother, fought her way through it.. lost a husband and a child, yet somehow birthed three dragons by risking her life (she didn't know whether she'd survive the fire), led her people through the red waste while starving, punished those who needed to be punished for what they did, freed slaves, earned the love of the common people, the loyalty of her armies, united all Dothraki to one big Khalasar, brought them across the narrow sea, gave the Northerners dragon glass to fight the army of the dead, offered them all her forces, repeatedly sacrificed her life, her children's lives and lost everything along the way to fight for the good cause, no one acknowledged that and constantly questioned her and took her credit away. This woman will be remembered as a bloodthirsty tyrant in Westeros. This woman who gave her all and got nothing in return but losses, grief, anger and betrayal, the one who started out alone and died alone, while everyone else got their happy ending. A literal happy ending. Let that sink in. It's beyond me how people have the audacity to say "what did you expect, a Disney ending?" So it only would have been a Disney ending if Daenerys had survived? Apparently Game of Thrones has always been a tale about the Starks and its only okay for them to have their happy ending. Got it.
I just don't like the Starks... Catelyn Stark. Robb Stark. They both made a very bad STUPID move. Rickon Stark... Well also made a stupid move literally. Bran Stark didn't literally can't do anything without the help of others. Arya Stark became so proud of herself so much. And lastly, Sansa... God I hated that bitch. She's also a greed of power. Knows nothing about battle and also can't do anything without the help of others. There are always someone to help the Starks... But the Targaryen... Maester Aemon died alone. Daenerys died being betrayed by the man she loved. And Jon... Yea though he's stupid... No one acknowledge his claim to the iron throne even though the Starks, Tyrion and Samwell knew it. After they persuaded Jon and got carried away, they left him to be in the north. Jon should haven't trust them. Jon didn't want to betray his Queen aunt and lover. They were both perfect to rule the seven kingdoms not just like others. But the show ended like a bitch. Tsk

Tay I wasn’t going to say that lol, I personally am going to rewatch the entire series to make sure of this. And yes the writing wasn’t as good as the earlier seasons. I’m not even trying to argue, she was one of my favorites and they really did her dirty. But what she did in episode 5 was unforgivable in my opinion, i get that she was furious but no matter the reason you don’t just kill the innocent, babies, women...she destroyed the city when she could have flown over and simply killed Cersei, but instead Cersei died with the man she loved, so what was the point of this? I really can’t understand, and that’s on the writers. Despite this, Jon was willing to overlook it and begged her to show mercy to the people. He didn’t want to kill her despite what she did. Had she shown any remorse things would have ended differently.

Hearing Maester Aemon’s “And she's alone, under siege, no family to guide her or protect her.” hurts 30000 now :(( her only remaining family, instead of guiding her or protecting her, killed her. @TheRealist 811 Dany was build up as a person who worries how she would conqueer Westeros. In the season 4 she give up going to Westeron because she feels she needs to help Mereen's people. In season 7 she doesn't burned the Red Keep for the city sake and she swored to help Jon Snow win the White Walkers (her biggest mistake) even she could have won the war easily in that point. Until season 8, ep 3 she was a selfless person so do you want me to believe that in two epsodes she just became a monster?

You either die a hero, or see yourself live long enough to become the villain. I think George R. R. Martin and D&D stuck faithfully to that saying. People can become so blinded by their beliefs that they become the bad guy. I think this show portrayed that beautifully! People like to see things in black and white, good and evil, but this show has been proving to us, time and time again that nothing is black and white... there's just a bunch of grey, really.

Excellent montage. A clear example that a better job can be done with the same storyline and footage, proper music and a different arrangment... I was more touched by this 5 minutes that from the damn season...
Without her storyline the show would have failed for lacking in any sort of hope. She was the absolute light in a very dark series and the scenes with Daenerys where the ones I looked forward to the most. A very sad end. In contrast, Brans story I always felt was the most dull and more suited to the books not translating as well to tv. Plus his smug “I’m the 3 eyes raven” face really irritated me. She deserved it so much more.

I feel so betrayed not by khaleesi but by the writing and how her legacy was just thrown away. She didn’t want the iron throne so that she would be rule everyone and be all powerful and tyrannical she wanted the iron throne so she could literally change a continent and free her people from oppression and waring despots. Maybe she wanted some power and glory for herself but who wouldn’t ? She wasn’t perfect but she was good, honest stuck by her morals. That’s the khaleesi I know, that’s the queen of dragons bay we know.
I think you did a great job honoring the character and despite the ending given to her, it was a tribute that showed who she was. It was a tragedy but I will always love the mother of dragons.
Regardless of what the writers wanted us to believe, I don't think that Daenerys turned mad in any shape, sense or form. They decided in that final episode to act as though no other character had killed or done terrible things. She acted in a way that is natural and she did what had to be done in order to stop an evil, manipulative ruler who could not truly be stopped any other way. Even afterwards, her intent was still to free those who were powerless and enslaved. She saved far more people than she killed, but that it something the writers pushed to the side for the sake of a dramatic, lazy ending. They butchered her character and she deserved better.
She was pretty evil in the books, but the show doesn't know how to do a very good job of portraying her. Her going mad was predictable.. But that's not why fans were pissed... It's how she turned mad over night... It's just stupid... Grrm said 13 seasons, but nope... D&D retarded.

Jon should haven't trust them. Jon didn't want to betray his Queen aunt and lover. They were both perfect to rule the seven kingdoms not just like others.

Tay I wasn’t going to say that lol, I personally am going to rewatch the entire series to make sure of this. And yes the writing wasn’t as good as the earlier seasons. I’m not even trying to argue, she was one of my favorites and they really did her dirty. But what she did in episode 5 was unforgivable in my opinion, i get that she was furious but no matter the reason you don’t just kill the innocent, babies, women...she destroyed the city when she could have flown over and simply killed Cersei, but instead Cersei died with the man she loved, so what was the point of this? I really can’t understand, and that’s on the writers. Despite this, Jon was willing to overlook it and begged her to show mercy to the people. He didn’t want to kill her despite what she did. Had she shown any remorse things would have ended differently.

How can Jon forget all this. He kills her within minutes after talking to Tyrion. What the hell!
It's not like he wanted to. He tried talking to her but she still refused. It was rushed, sure, but all the good Dany did doesn't give her a free pass to continue to destroy.
Just noticed that Danerys in her quest to break the chains of slavery across the world, was herself slave of her one heritage!

What do we get? A crippled bitch who literally did nothing but to help sansa and arya execute littlefinger, him telling jon about his war turned out to be pointless as all the other things.

I feel so betrayed not by khaleesi but by the writing and how her legacy was just thrown away. She didn’t want the iron throne so that she would be rule everyone and be all powerful and tyrannical she wanted the iron throne so she could literally change a continent and free her people from oppression and waring despots. Maybe she wanted some power and glory for herself but who wouldn’t ? She wasn’t perfect but she was good, honest stuck by her morals. That’s the khaleesi I know, that’s the queen of dragons bay we know.
I think you did a great job honoring the character and despite the ending given to her, it was a tribute that showed who she was. It was a tragedy but I will always love the mother of dragons.

Regardless of what the writers wanted us to believe, I don't think that Daenerys turned mad in any shape, sense or form. They decided in that final episode to act as though no other character had killed or done terrible things. She acted in a way that is natural and she did what had to be done in order to stop an evil, manipulative ruler who could not truly be stopped any other way. Even afterwards, her intent was still to free those who were powerless and enslaved. She saved far more people than she killed, but that it something the writers pushed to the side for the sake of a dramatic, lazy ending. They butchered her character and she deserved better.
I think the writers simply man-splained. Lol.
She was pretty evil in the books, but the show doesn't know how to do a very good job of portraying her.
Her going mad was predictable.. But that's not why fans were pissed... It's how she turned mad over night... It's just stupid... Grrm said 13 seasons, but nope... D&D retarded.

The reason why season 7 and 8 were so shit was because these 2 seasons were ahead of the books.
