    I love it how would you put a jar in it with a twist head?

    • @rhondadawnbutler
      @rhondadawnbutler  6 месяцев назад +13

      If you use a tall narrow jar, or jar with a lid that fits the diameter of 24sc at row 24. Depending on how you want to glue the head to the lid, you may want to add and extra row or two of 24. Then for the body, chain 24 and join to make a circle. Then you’ll probably want to a row or two of 24 before adding the arms for row 25. Then closer to the bottom when you start closing, insert the jar, stuff around it and Finnish closing the bottom. I’d suggest a narrow jar, cause the longer you can go before adding it the easier it will be at the end. 😊 hope that helps! I think I’ll pin this cause it’s already a popular question. Thanks for asking!! ❤️😊😍

      Thanks I'll try to make it and see how it comes out with your directions, he's super cute. Do you think you can possibly try to make one with a lid to see how it's done?

      I've seen someone make the head and arms part then the body as the separate piece. I've got orders for these and trying to piece together the pattern and get through 4hours lol. I appreciate the video being made for sure.

    • @TaraPyles

      To make this with the jar, I ended it at row 24 with 24 stitches, tied it off. Started with a chain of 30 cause a chain of 24 didn't fit around the jar. Then did 3sc, 1dec, to have 24 stitches, added the arms, then went on... Good luck!

    To do the decrease, do you just skip a stitch? I dont understand

    • @rhondadawnbutler
      @rhondadawnbutler  6 месяцев назад +2

      You insert your hook in the next stitch, grab your yarn and pull up. Then insert it again in the stitch after that , grab your yarn and pull up. That should give you three loops on your hook. Then you’ll grab your yarn and pull through those three loops. (Does that help? I’m better at showing than explaining) 😊

    • @rhondadawnbutler
      @rhondadawnbutler  6 месяцев назад

      Instead of going right into the arm row, you’ll want to do a chain of 24 and join it into a circle. At least one row of 24. Then continue with the arms and the rest of the body, and depending On the size of your jar, I’d add it somewhere between adding the legs and closing. 😊

    • @rhondadawnbutler
      @rhondadawnbutler  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hmmm you’ve got me stumped on that one. Is it possible your starting in the second stitch instead of the first, that’s the only thing I can think of since occasionally I find I’ve done the same thing and my yarn stich marker was hiding it. But I can’t see that happening for every row. If you can’t figure it out, try adding an stitch anywhere but your last increase so you don’t get a bump.

    Was it a typo in 38:57, Bc on round 17 we do 2 sc and then a dec for 12 total stitches then we have 10 sc in row 18?

    • @rhondadawnbutler
      @rhondadawnbutler  7 месяцев назад

      Is that for the leg? I did ten stitches instead of 12 on the last row so when it’s closed the top of the foot faces up. You want to end up on the side of the leg. So you’ll want to do how ever many stitches get you there, for me it was 10. Hope that helps 😊

      @rhondadawnbutler yes the leg, your caption for row 17 total you have it ending with 12 stitches, but then you start your caption for row 18 ending in 10 with no decreases, just 10 sc. @@rhondadawnbutler no, I'm afraid neon would not be what she wants. I might go and physically look at thread soon to see if anything "jumps out to me". Try an orange tabby cat or a blue heeler dog. I have a big golden retriever and he is orange/red and cream color. His name is Bowie. For Christmas lat year, one of the grandkids picked up a huge, lifelike size, stuffed golden. He looks exactly like Bowie. The babies named him David.

      If this is for the last round, you want to only do 10 sc and not finish the round or your toes won’t face up. 😊

      I only sell locally, but you should be able to find someone who crochets in your community. Just share the link with them, and they should be able to help you out 😊

    No sew is kinda false advertising. Still have to sew the ears on, and that's what I struggle with the most..

      It’s advertised as no sew body, not no sew. Which is head, arms, body, and legs as one piece. All the facial features are sewn on, which I explain at the very beginning. Sorry you misunderstood. 😊
