The alley you walked down is soi 6. If you keep walking towards the Crown, there's an entrance to soi 8. Next to Shama is Bus Stop restaurant. I often go there for spaghetti, which is surprisingly ok. Nana hotel, opposite Nana Plaza, is where i stayed on my first trip in 2005. It's popular with elderly Americans. I never stayed there again, but i often use the toilets there, which are next to the lifts and are kept clean.
Ya man. I love the energy of the red light areas, but BKK has so much more to offer. The newish park entrance at the end of Soi 4 is a welcome addition.
Dawin is the way Darwin is said. So the name is a play on words. It's owned by an Australian guy. He also has a sister property in Pattaya. That was 8 years ago when I stayed there. I'm not sure who owns it today. But, I had more than a few beers with the owner back in the day. It's just a hotel, but decorated with Aussie colors (short for Australia, kinda like Dawin is short for Darwin) thanks for the help though
You can get to the park from Soi 8, too. I stayed in every hotel on Soi 4 up to Soi 6, and you don't hear the noise ... Dynasty Inn is quiet if you get the back tower ...

I've been to the area many times, but I'm no expert on the Nana. Thanks for the tips
Take a walk sometime from Soi 12 on the Green mile/ Benjakitti to Lumpini Park near Silom . Nice enjoyable walk. 😊😊😊
I've done it. I'll film it sometime. Thanks for watching
Interesting
Thanks for checking it out
lovely video, hope you can do one late night after nana plaza closes down soi 4 , I always stay at Omni Tower , I subscribed
I'm not a Nana guy. It's 145 am and I'm in Phrom Phong. I'll try to get up that way
Ahhhh memories cheers
Soi 4 can be crazy. Good times
Thank you for showing the entire Soi, not just the naughty bits. 😂

OMG, I booked a service apartment at S.M. Grande. My plane lands 9:50 pm. I'd probably arrive between 11pm-12am. 😂🎉
Have a great trip.
Bunny used to be Hilary 4
Did it? There are so many Hillarys around town. Including the two on Soi 11
@@EagerExpat yes. Hilary 2 is in the same place. Hilary 3 used to be on soi 11 and Hilary 1 used to be on the corner opposite soi 6
its Darwin Australia so i dont think the Dawin hotel in soi 4 in any way a Aussie hotel
