The baby got stuck in the birth canal, so the dr tried to pull it out, the baby was hurt really badly by the dr (broken facial bones) so dr decided to do a cesarean, when they pulled the baby out via the surgery site- the head didn't come... I heard all this earlier on another news story... The mother would have had a sheet up, so she couldn't see I'm guessing, she didn't know her baby was mutilated..😢😢😢

Because I've been watching them for a while now and I can tell you the common denominator is right wing politics these people will literally defend anything to say anything do anything to get what they want or spread the narrative they want to spread. Thinking about that there's a team of people in the comment section defending someone who decapitated a baby. Common themes of this seem to be the parents are somehow responsible that the baby's head was somehow completely severed from the body naturally that an abortion was somehow to blame. The doctor was supposed to perform an emergency C section (which is what has to happen when there is trouble getting a baby out vaginally because it is a small opening) but instead the doctor just tried to pull the baby instead doing the c section. When the doctor finally did the c section he realized he’d detach the head from the body and instead of telling the parents they took a blanket and wrapped the body and propped the head on it to make it appear that the infant wasn’t detached

The Hospital was way too comfortable to even think they could send the baby to a Funeral Home with head detached and Not be reported. This Hospital literally took the Coroner out of the equation purposely in order to not be reported and it makes me wonder how long they’ve been getting away with this ? This is not the first decapitation my doctor in Geaorgia. Both events were female doctors. Another baby boys head was severed during delivery in 2019

@@daviddaddy Historically we were not treated with respect in this industry, hence undertakers, morticians, etc on Auburn Ave Atlanta and other black cities throughout the country. There is a technique of bringing up ones color to hue, hair styling, etc. Although it seems common sense, heart and brain but you would be surprised of things that may go under the radar. Sad but true.
I don't know how the hospital could have sent a baby over in that condition and not have it commented upon, except that it was so terrible, they didn't know what to say.

My daughter was born with a shoulder dystocia. It's a very rare occurrence and should be handled in such a different manner than how this doctor handled it. This poor baby may have not made it, but the way this child's birth was treated AND subsequent efforts to cover it up screams negligence. There are maneuvers to try and deliver a newborn with shoulder dystocia. This mother was already high risk due to her diabetes and a C-section should have been the first course of delivery due to macrosomia.

So I'm NOT the only one who's been wondering why they didn't go "directly" to C-section!!! From another news report, I saw how petite the mother was and learned that it had taken nearly 24 hours for her to dilate enough to attempt even the vaginal birth. Thrown in her high-risk diabetes, and a C-section should have been a no-brainer!
Also, the size of the mother's pelvis & the average birth weight of the mother & the father should be taken into account. Some women have a wide, but narrow pelvis which should be ruled out for a normal delivery.
Inhuman is what those doctors and nurses who tryed to hide this . Bless the man who reported and let the family know the truth. ❤

I guarantee you the nurses did speak up but were told not to discuss it or were bullied in some way by both the doctor and upper management.
So what actually happened to the baby?? Did they physically do it or was it "an accident "?? Because how can it be an accident surely.
@@misselle1430this has happened before in a few other cases. The baby’s head or shoulders get stuck sometimes. The doctor possibly tried using instruments such as forceps or a vacuum. They require a very skilled hand to use as it is extremely easy to mess up if you don’t know what you’re doing or have limited experience using such instruments. I’m guessing something went wrong while the doctor was using one of these and it resulted in this situation unfortunately.
So technically it was an “accident” and they chose to cover it up as to prevent the parents from suing the doctor and/or the hospital. The doctor and staffs decision to do this was absolutely despicable and all to save their own skin. Very sorry for the mother and father. I could see in her eyes that she was absolutely broken. I couldn’t imagine… my thoughts are with them!

I’m so thankful this funeral home director told the family. He seems like a very compassionate, kind man. I am in shock that the hospital would try to get away with not telling the family the truth. Just seeing the faces of those poor parents literally brought tears to my eyes. I don’t know what happened and I’ve never heard of a child being born decapitated but it’s extremely suspicious and reprehensible that the hospital didn’t say a word and tried to sweep it under the rug.

We wouldn't know for sure until a proper autopsy is done. There was a case covered by the Guardian a decade ago where a baby was also decapitated due to an unqualified doctor. I suggest searching for it. I believe it was called "Baby Alexandria" or something along those lines.

@@joyharris1976 it’s possible that she was so devastated or even physically well. Yeah I had a girlfriend lose her baby and she was able to take time to grieve with her baby. Of course that’s a choice and I’m very sorry that you lost three children.
They showed the baby to the family. The baby was tightly wrapped in a blanket with the head propped on the shoulders to conceal the fact that the head was detached. The hospital pressured the family to cremate conceal all evidence of their malpractice.
They mentioned it in an interview.
She asked to see her baby. The swaddle the baby in a blanket, prop the head on the body, laid it in a hospital bassinet and told her she can only view through a window. The young lady being young didn't know any different. She asked for an optopsy and they told her it wasn't needed in this case. 😢😢😢😢😢
Do not (hospital) put these parents through more than what you have already. Settle with this family! Trust me, this hospital does not want to take this to trial. Just hand the parents a blank check for them to fill in, because if you leave this up to a jury, LAWD, you will never recover. Cover up, lying, deceiving…that’s what this hospital stands for. I agree justice should be done and it is criminal. The district attorney of that county should be meeting with the mother and father, as in last month when it happened. Has happened more then once especially when they use instruments in the birth. There is a story of a lady on RUclips about it happening at delivery because of the pulling on the kids head. Horrible.
@@charliegordon2266 most of the cases I’ve heard about the baby was already dead and decomposing in the womb which would make it much more understandable. But this is just awful, especially because of how they tried to cover it up and even told the family they weren’t entitled to a free autopsy. I understand the baby's shoulders were too big to pass through mothers pelvic bones (she's very petite). Baby got stuck.
After pulling, etc. the doctor decided on a C•section. (The couple had requested one earlier in the labor.)
They went to operating room and tried to birth baby through c•section incision, but got too rough or something. Torso born, but head was born vaginally.
Such a horrendous thing to happen. But to then Hide what occurred and not Immediately inform the parents.. well that's just despicable!
Maybe they (the Dr. & nursing staff) were in shock? Just so sad.

The hospital was attempting to hide the fact that they accidentally killed the child during birth. They wouldn't even let the mother hold the child but kept it in an incubator type contraption. If the mother had picked up the baby's body she would've realized that the baby was decapitated. So they hid it expertly enough that the parents didn't know until the funeral home called.

It isn't so much the mistake as the COVER UP! Mistakes and negligence happen and it is up to the hospital to take responsibility for said mistakes. The doctors have malpractice insurance (which goes up every time they are found guilty of it). That is likely why everyone tried to sweep it under the rug. Doctors' pocket books and ego can't tolerate admitting error or malpractice and the Hospital doesn't want the responsibility or the cost of a law suit!

From what I believe happened was the doctor was using forceps to help birth the baby(this is done all the time when the baby is stuck in the birth canal imagine a set of pliers that are cupped at the end to fit over the baby) and the Dr pulled to hard on the head, allegedly, and the rest is in the story.

This is the most horrific thing I've ever heard in my life. My heart breaks for this family. I can't even begin to understand their pain. The hospital and all the doctors and nurses involved need to be held to account. They should never be allowed to practice medicine again. I have worked in labor and delivery as a RN. I cannot imagine a physician pulling on a baby to the point of detaching the head. How did he not feel the separation happening??? So horrific for the parents. God bless them.

I hope that everyone involved is charged and they reach justice and are well compensated for their pain. That baby felt the pain and pressure while in the womb. My God! I don't understand how they could not tell the parents. Even if a baby is still born or disfigured they still let the parents see the baby and hold it. Did this happen during delivery? How did the hospital tell the parents the baby died and from what? How did the parents not see the baby? Did it happen after death or something? Fit so many questions.
The babies head became detached during delivery! Do you think they would let the mother see that? If whoever delivered my baby were to put it in my arms after delivery, it better have it's head on.
They wrapped the baby up to appear as if its head was still attached to the body. Think about how tight babies are swaddled in their blankets this allowed them to create the effect that it was just a simple death. It was a cover up by the doctor as well as the hospital that would have gone unaccounted for had this funeral director not spoken up!
Right, they actually performed a c-section after unsuccessful vaginal birth. The doctor prior to the c-section was manipulating the baby’s head aggressively. When they performed the surgery, the baby’s body came out but not the head. It was still actually in the birth canal and subsequently delivered vaginally. They refused allowing them to see the baby. They then wrapped the baby up tightly and propped the head to appear as if was attached and only allowed them to view their baby threw a window. They went on to scare them with talking about, how much an autopsy would cost , because obviously you don’t need a coroner’s license to see what the cause of death was in this case. And strongly encouraged cremation. What a horrific, horrific, unethical, immoral thing to do.
@@chellelechelle I just seen another article that said the doctor didn't tell them right after the procedure but the parents were told after. There is no way to wrap a baby unless they sewed the head back on without it being noticable or falling out of the blanket. If they didn't hold the child maybe just letting there but most people hold their dead baby to say goodbye.

The reason there were complications is because the mother was obese. Obesity and diabetes can cause problems with birth. But "activists" ignore this issue and instead like to blame systemic racism.

Idk the area. Idk the hospital. Idk if this is truly a racial issue since I know nothing of the physicians and nurses involved in the delivery. But I certainly do see this as an ethical issue or rather a lack of ethics, integrity and a lack of humanity. There will be no attorney on this planet that can effectively defend the actions of the staff involved and the hospital itself. I can’t get past the pain that poor baby must have endured.
