    I love the implication that the City folk could all use the incomplete Ouroboros power if they had just trained but were too lazy because they were relying too heavily on Blade weapons.
    I mean, Matthew was whooping Moebius ass with that incomplete power.

      Regular City people only had Ouroboros blood, they technically hadn't came into contact with either side so no they wouldn't have been able to use the power BUT if they did get the Ouroboros power from the stones instead, then they would have had the Ethereal power

      @Bullminator well N was one of the chosen candidates numerous times, Z knows, he tried fighting him once, lost.
      Then ran from him, died from freezing to death, or maybe survived, kinda iffy about that part, but he eventually broke free temporarily, but his time ran out, he had ample time to learn how to use oroboros, even mio was with him as well, back to back in life times, you can't deny he and the city citizens were lazy in using ouroboros, if they all pitched in, they could sped the process up for ouroboros, my theory is, riku purposely waited for ouroboros research to finish and secretly cloned N by DNA in ghondor bloodline for keves castle and mio for Agnes, he knows the mobius tracks high level of ether, since they control both parties, they don't care how they do it, they want city people dead, no questions ask, they're just giving command and troops may question but blindly follow them, in result is how the new team was met, also riku giving Noah the lucky 7 meant he was setting his plan to motion, after years of research, I say it well paid off

    Shulk says it, it isn't a sacrifice. And essentially because the version of Rex and Shulk we play as are not the real ones from Alrest and Bionis. These were the versions inside Origin that were revived to help fight against Mobius. When Origin finishes it's mission, the real Rex and Shulk will come back, but somewhere within them will be the memories of the Aionios versions too. I really hope that the new world created connects us to XCX and then that XCX is remastered for Switch and connected properly to finish the whole Chronicles. Xenosaga would be cool, but since XCX is still unconnected to the rest of the Chronicles while Xenosaga is a complete step outside of the Chronicles, it would make sense to finish Chronicles first before trying the other stuff.

    I have a theory that Matthew is the one who made Noah. Specifically in his fights with N and blasting him both ideologically and through Ouroboros power caused his own hope for the future to break off from his nihilistic self.

    • @777Roxen
      @777Roxen Год назад +26

      I actually theorized the same thing. Concepts being given physical form is common in Xenoblade 3.
      Noah and Mio are N and M's hopes for the future made manifest. For Mio, it wouldn't be that hard for the split to happen since her hopes for the future remained strong the whole time, though N couldn't understand that.
      N's hopes for the future were nearly completely gone, but meeting Matthew obviously influenced him. I think the real turning point for N was Matthew telling him that he might be the one to break the cycle. N doesn't say anything in response, but you can tell he ponders it for a moment. Though he wouldn't admit it, I think those words rekindled his hope deep down.

      My problem with Noah being a split off from N is the question. Is Noah truly an anomaly, or does every moebius have a copy of their pre Mobius form still running in the cycle. Because if Mobius are a conjuration of a person's fear of the fusion. And it's implied everyone has a Mobius inside them. Then why can Noah fight against his own Mobius and noone else. It's biggest question I still have unanswered by the end of future redeemed. I kinda like this theory about Mathew. But I still think it's only a theory.

    the three Aegis Cores each have a power. Logos has power over matter, Ontos has power over Time, and Pneuma has power over space. Ontos can Find a point in time to put something, Pneuma can find a point in space to put something, and logos then can use the other two to pin point where the matter need to go. my idea in how Xenoblade 1 world was made.

Pneuma means "breath" and "spirit" so their power is to control over the soul or the spirit of people that's why interlink activated in the ending of future redeemed.. and Ontos / Ousia means "being" or "essence" so their power is control over "being" or "essence" that's why they are more powerful but very machine like without the other two..

    • @lpfan4491
      @lpfan4491 Год назад

      Actually, Pneuma would be creation, as in how one of her abilities allows her to create particles of any element. Ontos is both the intermediate of state transition and the counterpiece of order(to the other two's chaos of creation and destruction).
      The reason that there is significant overlap in what they can do is that they still pull from the same pool of data and power, they just implement it diffrently. e.g. Malos has more Monado Arts than Eater, but it seems to be the strongest because it naturally ties the best into his intended function and powers.

    That light in the post credits scene is making quite the firestorm. It's nice to see Xenosaga and Xenoblade X trending as much as they are as a result though. For me personally the light is a tease at Xenoblade X because that's still an unresolved story and X does reference Xenoblade 1 a couple times. I love Xenosaga more personally, but I think it being KOS-MOS returning to earth is a bit more ridiculous than it being either Elma going to Earth or the White Whale crashing into Mira. We probably won't get a definitive answer on what it is though.
    The radio also mentions names and events from Xenogears, Xenosaga, and Xenoblade X, so I think it's more or less a tease as to what Monolith is doing next than continuity with these games. My guess is we'll be getting announcements for Xenogears and Xenosaga remastered later this year or next year and I think they'll probably be releasing the Definitive Edition of X on it's 10th anniversary in 2025 much like they did for Xenoblade Definitive Edition. This is hopeful thinking though but man the teasing at the end of this DLC was ridiculous.

    • @dangermouseuk78
      @dangermouseuk78 Год назад +3

      As I said here I feel X is its own contained story and has no relation to this not to mention the earth literally blew up in X. Like I said here somebody looked through the copyright notices and found xenosaga bandai namco in there. If they somehow managed to cut a deal with bandai it being kosmos makes more sense than Elma personally. But never say never they could pull in X but story wise xenosaga makes a better connection than X. the radio towards the end mentions a xenosaga character and there's no mention of alien attacks. It does mention they were colonising and in X they made spaceships to escape the attack not to colonise.

    • @SacrificAbominat
      @SacrificAbominat Год назад +2

      @@dangermouseuk78 X does have some context that Mira is possibly in another universe or is in it's own pocket dimension. One of the Ganglion, I believe Luxaar, says that when Earth was destroyed they were engulfed in light ant transported to Mira. They are also unable to escape the planet due to some force keeping them there.
      Then there is the Samarians which are hinted as being a universe hopping civilization and I think X subtly hints at Mira being their original home world. It's a stretch, but the Samarians could be the future civilization from the main Xenoblade universe or even the people from Klaus civilization after they sent out colonization ships in their project Exodus. It's a stretch though and a Definitive Edition or Sequel could explain who and what the Samarians and Mira are.
      As for Xenosaga matching up with Xenoblade it just doesn't. Just because they mention Dimitri Yuriev doesn't mean it's the same person. Dimitri from Xenosaga wasn't even alive when humanity was still on Earth and was born hundreds of years before the events of Xenosaga not thousands like that would imply. I think everything mentioned in this radio broadcast is Xenoblade's version of these characters and events since the series was made into a multiverse with the revelations from Xenoblade 2.
      The Light in the post credits scene could be anything. I'm mostly leaning on it being a reference to the White Whale crashing into Mira because there are more connections between X and the main Xenoblade series than Xenosaga and Xenogears, but those are thin to say the least. We'll see what they do with that going forward, but my guess is they'll keep us in the dark about it.

    Your analysis on Future Redeemed was great. I really liked how you explained the raw power of Ouroboros. I think the ending is the most interesting part about Future Redeemed. Potential spoilers for xenosaga and warning, extremely long tangent incoming. This is my take on the ending:
    About the ending, I don’t really know what the light is, but I don’t think it means that xenoblade X is the next game in the timeline. Since X occurs as an effect of the destruction of earth, if the light heading towards the new planet is Elma heading towards Earth to warn Earth about the attack of the Ganglion, then that would be convoluted because that would mean that Earth was completely restored. On the other hand, if it’s the white Whale descending into Mira, then it’s still convoluted because then it means that the planet that they landed on after Earth got destroyed was another version of Earth the whole time. My guess is that when Klaus activated the Conduit, it created a near identical universe to Earth where he never activated the Conduit in the first place, which would then lead to Elma warning Earth about the Ganglion’s attack; in brief, X is essentially another set of events where it shows an alternate result from Klaus’ actions. It should also be considered that the white whale landed 2 years after the destruction of earth, so even if X is happening chronologically in the xenoblade timeline, it’s happening hundreds of years *before* the worlds of Bionis and Alrest even begin to have life, and before the stories of xenoblade 1 and 2 even happened, because it took ages for Alrest’s life to develop. However, that doesn’t mean that it isn’t possible that the light is Elma, it could probably be her heading toward the new planet as the worlds of 1 and 2 might connect to X in a similar sense of how 1 and 2 were happening. However, it could also be KOS MOS, since the scene of the light heading towards the planet is reminiscent of the Xenosaga Episode III ending. The third option is that the light is something new entirely, though I still think it could probably be KOS MOS.
    However, what I think the ending might hint is that we’re actually getting an actual canon crossover of Xenoblade 1, 2, X, Xenosaga, And Xenoblade 3, since the references to X and Saga in Future Redeemed interestingly align with the non canon challenge battle mode in 2 where a special dialogue with Elma, Shulk, Rex and KOS MOS occurs in the world tree. Regardless, I am extremely excited for xenoblade’s future.
    Edit: I also think that Shulk and Rex telling Nikol and Glimmer that they’ll meet again is an allegory for how we’ll see them again in the next game, maybe xenoblade 4 is the events after Origin rebooted, and we actually get to see Noah reuniting with Mio shortly after the epilogue scene in the ending of Xenoblade 3, with the characters walking towards the new future in the end, leading to the whole crossover between 1, 2, 3, X, and Saga.

And someone actually found how N and Noah split in this DLC.. It's hidden in plain sight.. Remember how A explain how they are split into two when they are in the city? The Aura grandpa emmit to Ontos in Na'el body is exact the same as Matthew punch N sword of origin and you can actually see it's actually had and effect towards N but suddenly cut to interlink of the party.. Yea...I don't think that works...
      For sure Ghondor managed to split A from Alpha BUT A was already a key part of Ontos' personality when Noah really wasn't. The Ouroboros effect of splitting them is also different as Ghondor applied it directly to Na'el (Specifically the brain and presumably where Alpha was residing) whereas the Ouroboros power at the end was moreso spreadout AND he already had the power of Ouroboros anyway (Look back at the main game).
      I also just checked that final scene and there is NO Ouroboros effect in sight. No ethereal soul leaving his body or Iris glowing. Another major difference to keep in mind is that when Alpha was split, A was created immediately whereas your assuming that by pure coincedence, Noah was born 1,000 years later.

    Fun fact is that all 3 are also opposite forces like the 3 core crystals Antos, Logos and Pneuma were. Where Shulk is from the world of the Bionis and Mechonis, Rex is from Alrest and A is Antos/Alpha/Alvis's conscience created in Aionios (which is a mix between Alrest and the Bionis) so somewhere in between, like Alpha was somewhere in between of Malos and Pneuma.

    I think the shulk/rex sacrifice was more of a fake death. I've considered a lot from 1, 2 and 3, and I'm thinking that when origin was being created, Melia and Niah realized they each had a peice of the trinity processor, ontos and pnuema. They realized they needed the full power of the trinity processor, so they had to reconstruct logos fast using the power of their respective pieces, and when it came time to complete it, logos would need a soul - in order to process the bad information of the world. Shulk stepped up and became that sacrifice, thats why Melia still has the monado REX in the castle, saying thank you... then rex became the soul of pnuema, because he can't have his wives, pyra and Mythra, leave their children. Rex became the sacrifice for alrest so that his world could go on, being protected by pyra, mythra, and led by Nia. We know pneuma can transfer core crystals by the end of 2 when she gives all of the crystal to rex, pyra and mythra's return was klaus's final gift to the gang, but pnuema was still rex. Lastly, after alphas defeat, that leaves a hole in the ontos portion, and A perfectly suits the position as they were a part of ontos to begin with. The shulk and rex we see are just avatars of the main core crystal, so once their job is done, the duo need to return "home", just like glimmer and nikol aren't the true children of rex and shulk, this pair isn't the true rex and shulk, as they already have their place in the trinity processor.

    • @JBspherefreak
      @JBspherefreak  Год назад +7

      Origin was based on Ontos' architecture of how he takes in data from both Pneuma and Logos, NOT the entire Trinity Processor. Shulk and Rex thus wouldn't need to replace the souls of Logos and Pneuma because they were never a part of it to begin with.
      If this was also the case, how in the hell did Ghondor and presumably an earlier Vandham get his hands on the Pneuma Core Crystal if its supposed to be in Origin? In fact the entire reason Alpha was created was because Pneuma and Logos no longer existed

      @PincoPallino-il4mw 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@JBspherefreak I'm adding this comment because it seems most people misunderstand the whole deal with Pneuma's core.
      Look at the scene again: the core only appears in that moment, it wasn't there all along. And it is transparent, because it's not the actual, physical core, but just a manifestation of Pneuma's power.
      Consider also that A says that what make Matthew's gauntlets special is that they contain Origin metal, not a core crystal. And Riku explained that Origin metal can contain the souls and memories of the people just like Origin, and that Lucky Seven contains the soul of someone important for Melia.
      So, just like Lucky Seven contains Fiora's soul (as confirmed by Takahashi himself), the Origin metal in Matthew's gauntlet contains both Mythra's and Pyra's, and that is why Pneuma's power can manifest.
      Mythra and Pyra themselves, just like Fiora and everyone else, are among the people assimilated by Origin, which was managed by Ontos alone. But since Origin metal works as it does, they manifested in Aionios like that.
      Ghondor never had the crystal, they only got a piece of Origin metal and made the gauntlets with it. In fact, the main game shows the Ouroboros' Stone contains Origin metal too, and we know the City received the Stone from her and Ghondor studied it. Additionaly, Dillon claims that the gaunltets are the culmination of the research on the Stone.

    Crackpot Theory: I think there are two Noahs because Noah was uncertain when he became N. Part of him wanted to End the Eternal Now, while part of him really wants to continue on. N really wants to continue existing so much so Z personally picked him out and made his right hand man. N is part of the reason Z is so powerful. (You who long for the endless now more than anyone) Thus, Noah, N hope for the future has to be the one to win out over N’s despair. As we can find Riki's grave in the base game and Nia would have almost bit the dust if it weren't for her flesh eater powers. If the world's were in communication or even had time "post merge" I don't see why shulk couldn't have passed that either knowledge onto rex or developed it for em. Another thing that caught my eye was the fog beasts returned and Rex is perfectly capable of cutting them down. I've been hearing that N's sword in particular is logos, initially i wasnt sold on this idea cus we never saw the core but after watching it a few times i can see where people are coming from. Rex saying "if only THOSE TWO where here" then N's sword glowing purple, perhaps the shards of logos's core remained after malos died, not enough for a full crystal but perhaps enough for origin to integrate (side note, is this maybe why all moebius have a purple glowing core in their base form?). But the question i have is, if N's sword is logos then what does that make noah's sword? The lucky 7 isnt N's sword as riku already had it during the events of future redeemed, and yet lucky 7 still exhibited monado like powers when it transformed. So what does that make it, how are there 2 of them if we now assume logos fits into the equation somehow for both of them?
    Another quick question too which has been confusing me, is it the sword of the end or the sword of origin, cus the game kept seeming to switch between them
    All this said though, if we assume logos is somehow the lucky 7 that does mean something very cool. XB1 was all about us using ontos's blades, XB2 was all about us using pneuma's blades, and XB3 was now us using logos. The trinity complete =P

    I highly recommend playing Xenosaga, especially after the ending of FR. The trilogy will probably take you less time to finish than it takes to complete Xenoblade 3 (including side quests and DLC) and, lore-wise, especially with the radio in FR, it's very possible that, after a few minor retcons, the two series are in the same universe. The Xenosaga games are not without their faults, but the story is amazing.
    Xenoblade 1 felt like Takahashi and Monolith playing it safe after the less than stellar performance of the Xenosaga trilogy. Xenoblade 3 proved that they have created a winning formula now and defined themselves as JRPG giants on equal footing with SquareEnix, Namco, Atlas, etc. Considering what Monolith did on a shoestring budget with Xenosaga, I'm eager to see what Takahashi and his team do next.

    Let us assume though it was, then with N being so close to that impact, perhaps that is when a portion of himself that still felt a glimpse of remorse and perhaps hope split and thus Noah came to be. Noah then became practically the symbol for hope while N just became even madder with despair.

    I love the way the ontos core is visualized in the series. In XBC1, the core is more of an ornament because the alvis we see is a contruct (for lack of better word) in the world he created, the real ontos core is sustaining the universe. when he rebuilds the xbc1 universe to sustain itself, much like Klaus' universe without gods, he reverts back to core and has no body. pneuma and logos have their real cores in chest because they later became part of blade system that allowed a body to materialize around the actual core in Alrest. fast forward, ontos core becomes what sustains origin, and origin is freezing two real universes together, hence he can only appear with a body inside origin and is wearing his ornament core. He needs a host (avatar) to exist and carry his real core around in Aionios. A's earring looks like Alvis' ornament core because its not the actual core, as A is a facet of ontos that was granted a body in 'real' world due to ouroboros powers. prior to DLC it confused me why the core has two aesthetic appearances.

      While I will agree that JB did get Eternal Recurrence somewhat wrong, you also got it wrong; also Nietzsche addressed Eternal Recurrence quite a bit in his works as an idea, although it wasn't one I recall him ever writing a specific book about. You both did get some things correct regarding Eternal Recurrence; while Nietzsche did address that one should live a life they are genuinely proud of, Eternal Recurrence was also an idea which was more generally about 'why' human history repeats itself, 'why' people follow the same patterns and moreso why. Also, yeah, there's a lot of Eternal Return bs spread by people who have no clue what they're talking about, and pop culture spreads far too much further. I direct my attention at Xenosaga for relevant example.

      Question 1) So it's unclear as to exactly how much time has passed since the events of both games (because the game does an awful job about sharing ANY information about before Future Redeemed) but it's speculated that the ceremony we see at the beginning of Xenoblade 3 is Melia's 100th Birthday. Specifically, the kids use "We're gonna miss the Queen's Anniversary" which is why this is still uncertain as it may be an Anniversary based on how long she has been in power 🤷‍♂️
      Anyways, the major theory is that it has been roughly 10 years since the events of those games as that would line up with Melia's birthday (roughly) AND be 10 years after she became Queen and was appointed like we see at the end of Future Connected. Again tho, this is only a rough estimate because they're could be an additional 10 or 20 years on top of this also (Based on Shulk and Rex's physical age in Future Redeemed) but we don't know the exact amount of time
      Question 2) The original plan for Origin was to let both worlds Collide and Annihilate one another and then Re-Build both worlds again based on the Data Origin had stored inside however, because Z stopped the worlds from completely colliding, Aionios was created instead. We can speculate however that parts of both worlds were Annihilated and thus many people were killed and "Assimilated" into Origin (Which is what the game says) but there MUST have been a safe spot where the worlds hadn't fully collided yet and assuming that Rex, Shulk, Panacea, Linka and Riku were in this area (Along with Melia and Nia), we can assume that they evaded destruction, mostly through sheer luck.
      These are my thoughts on the matter at least, simply meaning that the others only remain as the souls within Origin and is the reason they aren't present in Xenoblade 3

    If I may I think I know why there are two Noah’s. And your theory actually gave me a thought:… this might sound a little strange but what if like with alpha. Noah is N’s conscious. It might seem weird to say but here’s why I think that. N and Noah both fight very similarly but their attitudes are a little different even back in the past N was eagered and desperate to fight against Mobieus but when we meet Noah even during his first year he was so hesitant he lied that he couldn’t summon a weapon thinking fighting wasn’t the answer even willing signing up that same year to be wn offseer instead of a frontlines soldier. (I know I don’t have full proof he went their his first year but I’m going off of his size and the egg timer. And yes I know he still had to fight even as an offseer but just bare with me.) not only that but think about how N reacts to Noah every time he sees him. He hates Noah with a passion and having seen him with Mathew and his own son in future redeemed like glimmer said he didn’t have that same hate or joy, just regret. And even though Noah mentions he has that I could tell he had hate in his eyes at Noah the same way Alpha had that look at A
    *spoiler territory for some who have not gotten this far. You’ve been warned*
    this would explain why he got some satisfaction out of seeing Noah miserable in Agnus castle. I imagine his consciousness told him not to go through with his choice but his soul cried out to protect Mio and the now and this caused him to keep going and now here Noah was sad and depressed like N was. This is why when M disappeared and he realized he had lost her he broke down.
    Finally the final confrontation if you look back during the first phase Noah the whole time had nothing but pity for N because he knew of N’s mistake and how it lead him down the wrong path. He tries so hard to tell N to let go of the sadness but N still refuses and just fights. Then right before the second phase N saus this line “Your the one who couldn’t protect her. In the end you were powerless” I thought he meant the events at the castle but what if he meant back then when M had died, his consciousness told him it was ok but he wouldn’t accept it.
    This would also explain the bright light and the merge between the two. And if that’s the case… if my theory is right then prehaps Mio is M’s consciousness as well and it might be the only way this could happen is through the seeds of regret and hope… but again that’s just my theory about why there are two Noah’s and possibly two Mios.

    I personally have to disagree about the whole “Ouroboros Power can be only fully manifested when coming into contact with both the Positive and Negative charge” thing because in the ending shot when the liberators are where the current City is found Nikol and Riku are modifying the Ouroboros Stone, stating that if what they’re doing works then, like Glimmer says, “[They’ll] be able to deploy that power whenever [they] like”, “That Power” referring to Interlinking, but Nikol points out that they’ll only be able to empower a few people with it, aka only 6 like we see in the main game.
    Im more inclined to believe that the Logos Core (or it’s data or a copy created with the data Logos probably shared with Ontos/Pneuma) is in N’s SHEATH, not the Sword, the Swords (both Lucky Seven and N’s sword) are more like “conduits” for Ontos’s power, and it can take in and amplify both Moebius and Ouroboros power (or be empowered by them would be more accurate, look at the Origin Blades Interlinked Noah and N in Origin use, an Ouroboros and Moebius version of basically the same weapon), like how Ontos takes in information and suggestions from Pneuma (In this reading, the possible source of Ouroboros power, the stones can be explained as Nia’s resonance with Origin Metal allowing her to route Pneuma’s power into the Ouroboros Stone since she basically has admin perms for the side of Origin which would contain the Pneuma core) and Logos (in this reading, Logos would be the source of Moebius, note, in these readings the powers drawn from these cores aren’t anything BUT the power from them, how they’re generated from the emotions inside of Origin is separate, Moebius is simply drawing power from the Logos Core after it came into existence, not that it IS the thing that created moebius) and empowers them/is empowered by them.
    Basically, the Sword has actively nothing to do with the ability to Interlink, it was just unlocked later thanks to the data accumulated by the Founders.
    Also fun fact, due to the possibility that Matthew’s gauntlets were probably used to make Noah’s Veiled Sword sheath, it’s possible both Swords of the End’s sheathes contain a Trinity Processor core, Pneuma for Noah, Logos for N.
    Tl;dr Pneuma Core is probably the source of Ouroboros power, Logos of Moebius power and the Swords amplify/are amplified by said powers since they’re the Ontos of this Trinity.

    • @JBspherefreak
      @JBspherefreak  Год назад

      I see that as being unlikely personally as it wouldn't add up. They needed to bring the power of Ouroboros to completion. Maybe you are right and coming into contact with the Sword of the End ONCE means that they automatically powered it up and got the negative side from it but I'm not sure
      Logos also is unlikely to be the Source of Moebius because A) The Core Crystal died at the end of the game and B) Moebius was formed by the negative emotion of people being fed into Origin. It had nothing to do with Logos

    • @coldtyrant2557

      @@JBspherefreak i am saying that Moebius is SEPARATE from Logos Core, simply that they draw their power source from it.
      Same for Ouroboros, it simply draws power from Pneuma’s core but the core isn’t directly Pneuma, just power drawn from her.
      I believe it’s possible Logos’ core was reformed from information it shared with the Ontos/Pneuma cores back before the whole Conduit incident, we’ve seen Trinity cores can be repaired from taking data from other trinity cores, so why can’t a trinity core or an equivalent to it that fills the same role as Logos (so it’d functionally just be Logos again) be created from that Data?

      I felt as if the Ouroboros side of things was proven quite substantially in terms of the comparisons between both that and Moebius. Additionally, the reason I can't show anything more to prove my point is that it isn't there. With Xeno Lore, not everything is spelt out to you and sometimes you have to connect the dots yourself. Ouroboros is never stated to be a concept but when you genuinely think about how the power works and how similar it is Moebius, then the it draws you to the answer of it being a concept and everything else makes sense. The only other possibility is that it is some random power the Queens stumble upon by applying their core crystals to Origin metal and BANG the power is made which is kinda ridiculous in my books 😅
