Yes guys, this video contains spoilers for the physical theory of the birth of the universe, Jesus Christ and the bible, world history and a video game all in one.
And it works, too! Because even if Xenosaga itself isn't directly tied in with Xenoblade, we know that the Xenoblade world has its own version of things in Xenosaga, such as Vector industry's, and Dmitri Yuriev, so it can totally have these events happen!
Great video, really nice how everything fits so well together. I'm really excited about the next part, but the most important question still remains, how does the Project X Zone series fit into all of this, and even more importantly, what about Shions good old friend Kazuya? Where and when did they become friends?
A few years ago I watched an entire series on the story of xenosaga. I’m trying to get a friend into xeno and I feel like this video would be an easy lore dump for him. Looking forward to part 2 and beyond.
Honestly as much as I want Saga to be tied to Blade, I feel like we may be jumping the gun here. Still, you do a really good job of fitting them together.
I was recommended your second part on RUclips but never saw this one. So I went to watch this first. Awesome video. I think you did a very good job tweaking some events to make both Blade and Saga work together. Now I’m off to the second video
This is just my take on the entire Xeno Series timeline. Xenoblade 1-3(after someone activated the conduit) Xeno Saga1-3 Xeno Gears(The early cut scene starts exactly same time and date as Xeno Saga 1) and I double checked, it’s the same date.(and game creators do this all the time to connect games.) Xeno Gears (10,000 years later) Xenoblade X(which is billions of years in the future) And I’m going by the radio broadcast, in Xenoblade 3 DLC story. Meaning the devs that put games in a neat order by the way, they set up the broadcast in the game. And spinoff game doesn’t count. I’m just gonna assume that’s in a separate dimension.
This is hands down the greatest XenoBlade Lore series ever created, so incredibly artistically done, its gripping from the first seconds that the narration starts. Words can't describe how much I love these two episodes, I've watched these videos so much I will literally listen to the videos while I drive and even fall asleep to these bad boys. I had no plans to pick up Xenosaga as quickly as I have, I'm about half way done with Xenosaga episode 1 and it's all because of how amazing these videos are. Deep thank you Xenobits from the bottom of my heart for documenting the incredible lore of saga and blade and inspiring me to take a chance on Xenosaga, I'm seriously enjoying it!
I generally think it’s too early to be trying to incorporate Xenosaga into the Xenoblade timeline. Until there’s official confirmation, it’s just a theory. My own personal view is that Xenosaga and Xenoblade don’t happen in the same timeline, but that’s just me. I’m fully okay to be proven wrong and everyone’s entitled to their own opinion on this matter.
The way I see it, Xenoblade has its own versions of things from Xenosaga and Xenoblade X. Considering how Vector Industry's and Dmitri Yuriev is in the Xenoblade timeline, I feel as though it's safe to assume that these important events happen in the Xenoblade world, in one form or another, while not directly connecting to the events of Xenosaga itself
You do a whole bit on Jesus and don't use 'Greensleeves' from XS1? I'm disappointed :P I'm loving this so far. You've done a great job summarizing a lot of dense history from the games and tying things together. I'm looking forward to part 2!
One thing you miss: Chaos/Yeshua IS the failsafe for the lower domain. In the case where the existence of the lower domain were ever to threaten the Upper Domain, Chaos has the power to erase the Lower Domain from existence. That is the power he feared, and what Mary limited by splitting his power. This is why Wilhelm states the failsafe must never be activated - it goes completely against his role as the defender of the Lower Domain. Basically, Yeshua exists in case Wilhelm ever royally screws up.
Woow amazing job! Take all your time you need. Pd. Maybe more people can put subtitles in diferent languages, for more persons to enjoy this masterpiece.
I think its connected to Xenosaga but not in the same universe. The siren kit means it had similar events occur, but not in the timeline where wilhelm held dominion, at least not in the xenoBLADE universe not in the way xenosaga displayed it...
I have to agree with a lot of things there's a couple jumps in logic and using shaky sources (like the player guide books) but it connects everything so well so semantics. The only thing I am fussy about is your descriptions of the core processors but eh different interpretations. Keep up the good work! Your video is very good and very well made. ❤
What's interesting is not only did Xenosaga become officially canon to Xenoblade, but also potentially Xenogears. So everything here legitimately connects. Granted, this also means the universe as a whole has around 20,000 years left as of the ending of Future Redeemed (chaos said at the end of Xenosaga III that at best the universe has a couple tens of thousands of years left).
U-DO, a sentient energy based light form, and is similar to God that’s inside of the Zohar/conduit. I have a few theories about U-DO might be in Aeon that predates God or Monad, the supreme being who created the entire Multiverse or universe. And created Babalos, the mother of Aeons, who created four luminaries Aeons of light. And one of them created Sophia,Aeon of wisdom and mother of God. But that’s mostly just a theory .
Xenobits i love your videos and the work you out into this but putting blade and saga into the same definitive timeline is still just a fan theory at this point
Eh, even if MonolithSoft hasn’t stated outright that the series are now combined into a single timeline, there were enough hints and evidence in Future Redeemed to reach that conclusion
@samuelchallis3420 there were references to xenogears and xenoblade x too but that doesn't make them canon, for the storyline of the numbered trilogy any saga stuff is just not relevant imo
I often had it in my head canon that all the Xeno games were connected somehow, but as I recall, due to licensing conflicts between the original Director and SquareEnix, they’re all just spiritual spin offs. On the flipside the way you’re tying them together rather COMPLETES my head canon. 😂
U-DO it’s much older than I thought. I just assume he was the same species as God. Or A Aeon but I didn’t know he was a supreme being or existed before time or as old as it. mean he could be infinitely old And it would explain why he’s so powerful , just being near him is dangerous for the human brain.
Xenoblade Sager= Xenoblade Chronik X Xenoblade Sager Nachfolger von Xenoblade Chronik 1 Xenoblade Chronik X Nachfolger von Xenoblade Chronik 2 Xenoblade Chronik 1= Xenoblade Chronik 2 Xenoblade Chronik 1 und Xenoblade Chronik 2 Nachfolger Xenoblade Chronik 3
Honestly I don't really agree with putting saga stuff in a xenoblade timeline video when nothings even confirmed yet, personally I think the fr stuff were just references as the entire dlc was a celebration of xeno as a whole (seeing as there were also xenogears and x references)
With the way the cutscenes was formatted, it's important to the story, and the fact that it's at a absolutely PIVOTAL point in the Xenoblade timeline, I fail to see how the things mentioned in the radio could not hold any story significance. I personally believe that Xenoblade has its own versions of events and characters from Xenosaga and X, while not directly connecting to the games themselves
Nice video but... I disagree. The Matter Shift of Earth taking 10 years completely contradicts every other instance of the Zohar activating ever across EVERY series. The idea that whilst the Planet was disappearing, instead of fleeing from the Planet on the Philadelphia Class ships (Which makes sense), they instead decide to create an Orbital Ring which will disappear in a few years anyway? And did Wilhelm just wait 10 years or so till Klaus' experiment concluded before sealing it away being the protector of the Lower Domain and not necessarily a protector of Humanity. I'll be interested to see what other things you talk about in future parts but I don't think this particularly close to the truth or even the actual CANON timeline for the Xenoblade universe. I might be one who prefers Xenoblade X over Xenosaga but this doesn't really make much sense and thats before we even get into the contradiction of the Zohar and Conduit being in two locations at once.
My argument to reconcile the contradiction with the original Zohar link experiments would be that the experiment drew the Verums (and maybe others in that facility) into the UMN/Imaginary number domain but was otherwise completely contained. This would showcase how dangerous messing with the Zohar was, encouraging them to put it far from Earth in order to put people in a mindset of 'okay, it's cool. Things are under control now.' (how many times have we seen THAT plotline before a disaster?) Humanity's departure in the Xenoblade Chronicles version/reboot of the backstory seems to be more related to general colonization (Per the radio broadcast: "The Icarus is the eighth interstellar colony ship dispatched as part of Project Exodus, bringing the total number of colonists sent out to the stars to 3 million.") with Klaus's experiment causing the phase shift suddenly. This definitely contradicts the original lore, so either A) it's a reboot of the lore, which I think is the most likely explanation or B) the Xenoblade games are not set in the same universe. As for the Zohar being in two places at once, I think this will be another lore reboot. It disappears into Klaus's Earth after the phase shift, then returns to normal space some time after his death where it's found and recovered by Ormus and brought to Abraxas. The series hasn't even gotten to that yet, so we'll see what Bits, Rudra, et al think about it soon!
Wilhelm has allowed countless tragedies to happen in order to find the correct permutations for recurrence, so allowing these events to happen are no different in my opinion. I will certainly concede that the toughest thing about fitting in Xenosaga with Xenoblade is the events surrounding Grimoire, but I think I did a good enough job of incorporating it. If, in time, I am proven to be wrong I will more than gladly update this series as needed.
@@RichardMV Thats not really possible. The Verum experiment is described as a catastrophic event that required Wilhelms intervention to prevent (It had the potential to wipe out the ENTIRE Lower Domain) so the idea that it could be "Contained" is unlikely at best but lets say for the sake of argument that this was correct, you then have to deal with Klaus. A big thing about Klaus' experiment is that he didn't actually know what was going to happen. Like the people in Aionios, he merely hoped that it would change the world and lead these people to a whole nother universe. Instead with this logic however, Klaus would be aware that the Zohar/Conduit creates Matter Shift Events so this attempted experiment literally turns into a suicide attempt. Additionally, we know from Xenosaga I and the Cathedral Ship that Matter Shift Events can't really be contained (With the resulting damage being lower in this situation due to it being an Emulator so imagine how deadly the actual one will be) with Wilhelm being the exception. I just don't buy that you could even stop or prevent this event when its said in Xenosaga that this was the event that could destroy the universe. @Xenobits Whilst Wilhelm does allow these tragedies , he doesn't allow ones which pose a risk to preventing the Eteranal Recurrence which the Matter Shift events are shown to be. In addition, this would just completely contradict the Xenosaga Perfect Guide that was released alongside Episode III, not just tweaking its meaning slightly. I just don't personally see a way to incorporate the Siren Model Kit lore of the XC2 events occuring at least 10 years after the discovery of the Zohar/Conduit, there simply isn't enough time and I don't see you including both the Grimoire and Klaus events together as both (for both stories sake), are realistically required to cause the desired effects for story purposes. Maybe I'll be proved wrong when Xenosaga Chronicles 4 releases also but I don't see any physical way of doing it without MAJOR re-writing or Ret-cons and at that point, why bother?
Excited to see how you tie Smash Bros into this
Best comment
Duh, in that universe Klaus was split into master and crazy hand.
Let me know when this comment no longer has nice likes

I got the Oppenheimer jumpscare

We bare witness to the birth of a universe. Once only a god could witness such a miracle, but today we move one step closer to the divine.
Lmao idk why it’s so funny to me that literal Jesus Christ is canon to xenosaga and hence perhaps xenoblade now
The two series' are in the same continuity now, so logically speaking that would be the case.
It’s weird seeing paintings hung up in my church in a video about Xenosaga, but it makes sense.
"and finally... they found it."
"WHOPPER WHOPPER WHOPPER WHOPPER"
great ad timing!
Yes guys, this video contains spoilers for the physical theory of the birth of the universe, Jesus Christ and the bible, world history and a video game all in one.
This was outstanding, a truly incredible video. I loved the ending and can’t wait for part 2
This is ultra underrated, this series finnaly allowed me to understand the nightmare that is xenoblade lore
You managed to connect Xenosaga and Xenoblade so seamlessly, it's incredible! I want part 2 now 😭 Great job ❤
And it works, too! Because even if Xenosaga itself isn't directly tied in with Xenoblade, we know that the Xenoblade world has its own version of things in Xenosaga, such as Vector industry's, and Dmitri Yuriev, so it can totally have these events happen!
Think I'm going to save this until after my Xenosaga playthrough. But I am excited to watch it.
Alright, just straight up connecting Xenosaga to Xenoblade now. Let's go!
MonolithSoft did it first. Makes actually owning all the Xeno games more impactful.
The only reason it isn't canon yet. Was because of licensing rights.
Probably the best xenoblade chronology on youtube if part 2 is as good
Great video, really nice how everything fits so well together. I'm really excited about the next part, but the most important question still remains, how does the Project X Zone series fit into all of this, and even more importantly, what about Shions good old friend Kazuya? Where and when did they become friends?
Too bad I can't watch this (I haven't played Xenosaga), but you have your like anyways!
Well done!
A few years ago I watched an entire series on the story of xenosaga. I’m trying to get a friend into xeno and I feel like this video would be an easy lore dump for him. Looking forward to part 2 and beyond.
I don’t have much knowledge of Xenosaga so this helps!
That was awesome. Very well done
Incredibly well done
Bro when is the next part coming?? This was so well done!! I wanna know what happens!!
Honestly as much as I want Saga to be tied to Blade, I feel like we may be jumping the gun here. Still, you do a really good job of fitting them together.
Daaaamn thats crazy remind me to watch after finishing xenosaga 3
I was recommended your second part on RUclips but never saw this one. So I went to watch this first. Awesome video. I think you did a very good job tweaking some events to make both Blade and Saga work together. Now I’m off to the second video

Thanks so much, Josh! I really put my all into this series, and I hope you enjoy future episodes.
Thought I would point out that a timestamp in the description is broken. Incredible work though and I'm super excited to see this full series.

INCREDIBLE i cant wait for the other parts
This was an amazing video. Can’t wait for part 2

Yes

Don't mess with the Zohar
Ain't no way Xenoblade is actually Christian fanfiction.
IT ALL CONECTS
I often had it in my head canon that all the Xeno games were connected somehow, but as I recall, due to licensing conflicts between the original Director and SquareEnix, they’re all just spiritual spin offs. On the flipside the way you’re tying them together rather COMPLETES my head canon. 😂

I didn't know that the bible is canon in the xeno-series
What's the music during the jesus bit?
Did yk that Jesus' actual name was Yeshua.
I wonder if Xenogears will be seen in this. 🤔
Xeno = Allienrasse
Aye im done now
Please make him dark brown. He was not white.
