Thanks for the explanation. I just started a 2nd playthrough and was trying to maximize getting as many rare blades as I could before finishing the game. On my first playthrough, I didn't get KOS-MOS until after I beat the final boss but I'm gonna try and get her earlier this time. It's gonna be a long grind. 😅

Adoring this series! Unfortunately haven't watched/played Xenosaga but the presentation of your series is super comprehensible and when playing this game in the future I'll have a notepad to help take in everything so much easier. Kudos to you for organising things in a very well laid out timeline! Appreciate what you're doing heaps

Glad to see The Missing Year here. It wasn't till a few years ago where I learned what happened during that. Suddenly the questions I had going from Episode 2 into Episode 3 got the answers I had by wondering for years.

Fantastic video! The Missing Year recap was a welcome addition. Wish we had gotten to see more of Doctus in III. Not only as a connecting thread between Jan Sauer's story 100 years prior but to further flesh out Scientia, and the rest of the largely unseen faction that was rising in opposition to the UMN. (Especially considering their respective insignias...)

12:19 I'll talk about it. It's NOT a Zohar. NOT an Emulator. It's literally JUST a power convertor, taking energy from 5th Jerusalem's traditional power grid and converting it to something Omega was designed to use. A bit like a car battery inverter that lets you run household electronics from, well, a car battery. Nowhere near as much 'potential' electricity power mains have, but enough to run your refrigerator for a few hours. I said car battery instead of generator, because it was implied that it had to be 'recharged' between tests.

4:48 to link Xenoblade X together with the rest, I would suggest the most likely candidate for the Zohar to be the Great One that the Ganglion were searching for. Shame it wasn't properly shown in any cutscenes. (maybe one day we'll get an XCX2)

My take on the minor skell design changes is that its going to be the same thing as Alvis's necklace design change in XC:DE. A minor but deliberate design change that doesn't really mean much except to add evidence to fan theories, and make the games fit together better.

Good video , thanks. 5:50 "Ares" + "Connections" - I guess they didnt want to fiddle with and update the cutscene for whatever reason. Its basicly impossible for the Ares to get the Cores later unless they only shine when there are actually 2 people piloting the thing , which wasnt the case in the intro cutscene , the lone hero was piloting it alone at that time. - It dosnt need to be connected to XC3 , but there is deffo a connection to the same concepts. What i mean is : XC3 establishes that when different polarized materials or people come together they either cause an annihilation event that has a chance to generate anti-matter or they come together in perfect unity and create the ouroboros forms. - The only thing that the Ouroboros Cores in the Ares confirm is that there is someone out there in the Universe who can create or use these. But this obviously implies some weird things , because it means whoever made it , used people to fuse into a ouroboros form and then artificially build a mech using their body for it. Or it is made from anti-matter and the cores only glow when 2 people pilot it . This does seam to be the case for both the Tandem Ares and the Vita ... who knows what good or bad intentions are behind it. "Pre-Order Bonus" - True , pretty much irrelevant 2 hours into the game. "New Music" - Dosnt sound like Sawano tho , sounds more like generic XC1,2,3 music .... Sawanos tracks in the main game might actually be the main reason why a remake / port of this game was considered to be so expensive ... since the release of the original XCX back in the day , Sawano has become very popular and probably very expensive. Im pretty sure they had to pay him to re-license the old ost for the new release.

Just making my rounds, watching each Xenoblade X video analysis, giving them a thumbs up, and moving along. Pretty much how I did a couple years ago with Xenoblade 3.

Quick Recast was actually demonstrated in the trailer. Quick Recast uses a portion of the bar to use an art even if it has not cooled down yet. The bar is divided up into sections. An art at 0% cooldown uses a full section, an art at 50% cooldown uses half a section, etc.

also i would like to point out that the cut content there form the pre purchase bundle was regular gear in the orginial game on the wii u they just cut that out just to give you an incentive ant its a pretty terrible and shitty armour to begin with seing as it drops from mobs in the beginning at level 1 and is gray rarity

CORRECTION The early purchase bonus isn't just for people who buy a launch copy of the game or pre order it but also for anyone who buys the full game before the date of April 6th hence it being called a early purchase bonus not a pre order bonus.

If they're adding new companions and Skells I hope there's a sizeable amount of new toys. My personal wish is a Siren inspired Skell, but more types of the white one would also be great.

It’s very likely that the chest slider was removed because they censored Lin’s outfits and they didn’t want players to ‘cheat’ the system with making a smaller character using the player based designs. Since its not like with the Six Star fundoshi being changed to boxers for all characters. Still absurd and pointless changes regardless, and a pity that we’ll have that as the only version now.
