The Touareg featured in the ad has nicer wheels and comes with panoramic roof unlike the Malaysian CKD watered down 470K Touareg R line. VW Malaysia should bring in the true 'R'.
Attended the private launching recently, very disappointed they just repackage Touareg Elegance the base model into Malaysia with 20" rims and repackage as R-Line. For the size of large segment SUV the wheels look bad, could have brought in the 21" rims with better design to complete the overall look of R branding. Not buying unless they bring in the real Touareg R here. Malaysian buyers should practice conscious consumerism and not allow corporate autodealerships to short change our local market considering the price point for sales here.
Nice one, love it. But Indian VW is sleeping not bringing any good features to India, just changed the chrome panels to black and rereleased in 2024, no adas, no 6 airbags for base model, Feel like VW is going to off market in India soon ??
