Thanks you guys for coming out and doing this. It means alot to us ❤❤
Of course!
Haile Collier yall keeping it?
If you ever want to get rid of it let me know I’ll get 100 back to looking factory fresh and it will stay in my family for ever
@@pelvicthrust119 we aren't 100% sure yet, there's 4 other cars that need to be picked through and pulled out before we make any big decisions.
@@leny2923 nobody wants this here. Go away
That interior looks near perfect, the outside will look great once they get it painted. I hope they hold onto the car it will be something that will help them remember their father.
His son should keep this Caprice, I think his father would be happy that the car was still in the family, I regret that I sold a vehicle that was passed down to me from my Grandfather.
These are the videos I love, and this car really ain’t that bad , it doesn’t have to be perfect but this is a good solid fully original car after a good detail and give it a good service and whatever it needs toget on the road you have a very cool original cruiser that is in unmolested condition, I would definitely keep it , 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Totally agree.
The barn find videos are a top category.
I love it.
Greetings from Spain!!
Beautiful machine. You guys really brought it back from the brink! Now I hope there will be a full restoration in this cars future. It's such a cool thing seeing dyed carpets. That's a long gone era🤙🏽
You guys really went above and beyond and made this thing shine! An awesome save once again
Awesome video guys, absolutely my favourite watching a classic in that state come back to life. Love them barnfinds/restores.
I knew it was a 76 when I saw the banner two days ago. My neighbor had the Bicentennial Edition when I was a kid. Probably haven't seen one of these since the early to mid 80s. You've got the appearance taken care of, I say do the same thing mechanically and keep it as a tribute to Dad.
Wow, those 70’s GM cars took baroque to a whole new level… that’s a lot of metal and material to work with and you did a masterful job of giving it life… and what a way to honor a man who passed before his time… I don’t know why this video gave me the feels the way that it did, but it did and you did a great job
Hopefully Steve can get the Caprice restored and get it on the road! Thanks for another great video!
I'd keep it. Restore it & enjoy it. I'm sure his dad would have wanted that. You guys did a great job with cleaning it up.
I don't think he want.. otherwise he would not put stuff on it in the barn, if it was he's love it would not be abounded in 20+ years..
Just look at the rest of the "yard" ..!! Look like a scrapyard.!
YOU ARE DOING THE RIGHT THING!
Those big Chevys are some of my favorite cars and seeing one getting cleaned up like that definitely does my heart good
I absolutely love the classic Caprice Glasshouses! 😍 one day I’ll build one of my own!
If I’m Steve, I would restore and just make it drivable again
I am glad to say Steve is getting to it 😎👍
It's oh that is not nearly Enough to do Justice... where's the hellcat swap and the 32" rims?
I agree
im sorry for your loss, my condolences.
Love your videos, great content with remarkable results every time. Personally, this was one of the first land yachts I remember seeing after landing in Canada from England, way back in 1980. It was a beautiful monster of a car, owned by my uncle, who picked us up from the airport in it, and I’ve loved the big cars ever since. I’ve owned many large cars since and would gladly swap the new generic cars for any 50’s through 80’s era beauties! I personally would restore this beauty as much as possible and drive it daily. There’s nothing like a North American boat on wheels to coast down the highway in. Love your content, keep up the great work. 👍🇨🇦
What an awesome thing to see that car cleaned up! I remember when we were in the barn looking at it.
All them CHEVY’S in that barn! I’m salivating here!
Love the red interior, the back seat looks comfy. He passed. 😪 condolences.
Y’all should really use chemical guys Diablo wheel cleaner if you don’t already it works amazing
I find that P&S Brake Buster works amazing, it's an amazing wheel cleaning product.
@@reconreality4579 agreed, p&s works best in my experience
Hell yeah Steve! Super happy to see this. I remember you telling me about this car at a Sunday meet. Hope to see it out at the Michael’s Performance meets sometime!
The interior is mint. I'd get it running again and enjoy it
Do what you can to put this car back on the road. Your dad would be proud.
One of your more interesting videos😀. ‘76 was the last of the “big body” Chevys, and this example has survived quite well. Being a Caprice Classic coupe should make it more valuable than other ‘76 body styles. It needs to be restored or at least preserved. For a NE Ohio car it looks quite good. I live there and it’s almost criminal what Ohio does to the roads in the winter with corrosive chemicals!
I love what you guys do informative and sp easy to watch.
Behind every great car is a great enthusiast this is one of them
You guys did an incredible job 👏. Awesome work. 👌. The way the carpets came back to life is amazing and the upholstery. Don't make them like that anymore.
I would restore it and keep it!! What a classic car. Another great video.
Restore it and keep it as a part of classic car collection
Definitely restore and enjoy!!
Brilliant video very interesting lot of hard work went in to making it awesome work 💯♥️👍
Fix it it’s a classic 🏴👍🇬🇧👍
Send it to me in India. I will restore it and drive it again...❤️❤️❤️😮😎 In love with these lines...
I enjoyed these clean cars videos so much.
You two did a great job
Super nice Glasshouse. Just that plastic trim around the opera window in the back is worth around 1000-1,500 bucks. They don't make it and that looks perfect. Even in as is shape-it's a 7,500 dollar car all day long. Do a little work to it and it's 10k and up-all day long. The days of getting one of these for cheap are long gone. I've had a ton of '71-'76 Impalas and Caprices. The '76 is my favorite year. Only year for the rectangle headlights too. The right rear tail light you can find. Not cheap though. New door sill plates can be found on eBay. Amazing the dash isn't cracked. That alone is rare as hell.
I hope the owner will restore it; it is a classic car already. If he cannot do it, Im sure someone will buy and do it. Even if he can just drive it would be great and a testament to his father. Thanks. Do you ever hear again from others whose cars you have brought back to beautiful life?
I like these barnfind detail videos
Plenty more to come!
Excelente trabalho, também neste Landau, parabéns amigos norte americanos!!!
It would be nice, to see the reaction of the owner.
I can tell you i am amazed with the job they did. No more mold or barn smell inside the car. No more questionable feces, dirt and barn grime. Ive been getting calls from family seeing the video and they're absolutely shocked #1 with it being outside the barn #2 with how it looks almost new rust aside.
I'd recommend repairing it to make it safe and reliable to drive, leave the cosmetic flaws, but maybe replace the broken tail light and trim. Enjoy it and the memory of your dad.
Yeah... the tail light was from backing into another car in the barn about 12-14 years ago..
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥as always wd
I really love that old car.
Restore it! There’s no substitute for those 70’s land yachts!
So true!
I would keep it and restore it, they don't make cars like that any more.
Meus parabéns que trabalho perfeito acho o Chevrolet caprice muito bonito esses carros são raros aqui no Brasil abraço .
Awesome work!
You guys are beyond outstanding and just unbelievable good dude's...keep on keeping on.... content Rock's
I honestly didn't think you would be able to make the difference you did. Great Job fellas :)
Thank you so much!
They're pretty great detailers too
For that car its age it looked great.
Fix it up, it's worth money, old cars don 't take much work unlike the new cars.
Nice job guy’s.good video👍🏽
Hi guys, I would definitely want to see this car restored & on the road. Thank you for sharing this video & your work. Stay safe!
Wow super
Cool 2 door ,geez,my grand parents had the same model but only in a 4 door form, please restore it ,it needs love
You guys did an amazing job
Parabéns meus queridos pela ação, traga de volta está máquina á vida que ele merece
Magnificent!
These old sweethearts need to be saved on. Great job.
Great job god bless
I used to work with someone many years ago that had one that body style. I rode in it a few times. Beautiful car. Nice transformation!
Awsome job 🤙🏻
Love the old school Chevrolet
Awesome job bringing the Glasshouse 😎 back to life
Beautiful! Thank you for this video. My parents had a 1971 Caprice that was Command Blue with a black vinyl roof and black interior. Nice job and great video!
Glad you polished it too. Made it look better even though there were rust spots.
Please restore and drive the car keep it in the family Steve
Great job!!!
Turned out amazing 👏
I envy you! I would also have had a lot of fun detailing this car! Well done 👍
Love it. I had a '76 Caprice Landau in the same color when I was 19. Mine had more options but was much rustier than that one. One of my favorite cars I've owned. Wish I still had it.
That car is definitely a keeper.
and so sorry for the family's loss.
AWESOME job on the Chevy guys! 😎👍🏾🔥🥳🤟🏾😆
wow👍👍👍👍
Restore to factory condition and daily drive it
Love them Glasshouses ❤️
Good job
My condolences Sir. Love these cars. Good luck
Maybe try and get a youtuber that revives cars to partner with when it comes to such detailing. The cleaning part and having that car driving would be a marvel to watch
Definitely a keeper. Me personally I wouldn't be able to take on this project, as I don't have resources, however if I did, I see this as totally worth the time and effort to get it back on the road and enjoyed once more.
Would love to see an asmr version of this detail looks like it would be amazing
If this was the orange color and didn't have any rust or body damage i would have thought this was the barn find I just pulled out. Mine has been sitting since 1992 and with no gas in the tank after fogging the engine I put fresh gas and primed the carb and 1 minute later it fired up. This one cleaned up just as well. Bravo!
These cars are fetching a pretty good dollar amount . 👌 I would keep it !
You guys did a great job with what you had to work with. The family was very appreciative and that's all that matters. It looks better than it has in 25 years. I hope that they are able to restore it and use it.
cool video. always loved those 76 2dr caprices. especially that color. please dont let it become a derby car.
Amazing car 🤩
Beautiful car
A beautiful classic
I Love them old cars keep and fix it up. When I was in high school I had a Pacer burgundy color, omg I loved it, it looked like a oval egg. After that car came a orange Thunder Bird, I wish I had them cars now, they very well built. Live your videos.
Nice
Nice both to you both 👌🏽🔥
Great video and RIP Hoss! Condolences to all from Melbourne Australia xxx...
There’s no such thing as a barn find those cars are never lost
nice
A Landau Coupe is crazy rare! Hope he gets it on the road again
What a great job on a great car.
Looks super nice compared to before. Where are you located if I could ask
I think you have worked on the car to the best of your knowledge; I wouldn’t have done better!
