That ‚guy wth the fro‘ is Sir Brian May, lead Guitar player of Queen, certified genius and Astrophysicist, and, one of the greatest rock guitarists of all times.

A few fun facts about Queen: * Guitarist Sir Brian May (The man with the curly hair....!) has a Ph.D. in Astrophysics and built his electric guitar (Red Special) when he was 17 (with his dad). * Bassist John Deacon has a degree in electronics. He designed and built the amp that Brian sometimes uses to create unique sounds on Red Special. John was also involved in the band’s financial management. * Drummer Roger Taylor has a degree in biology (pre-med). His vocal range is better than most lead singers of other groups. * Lead singer Freddie Mercury has a degree in graphic design. It goes without saying that his vocal range was amazing and he was the best front man of any band. * All four have written #1 hits, and all are members of the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Watch the entire concert and you'll really appreciate the range of their music.
Part of his charm was he loved everyone that came to see them. In that performance, he could hear them almost drowning him out, singing the song to him. So he said, "you take it" and just aimed the mic at the crowd and you could hear them in perfect unison singing back to him, in key and a foreign language. The amount of love in that moment is palpable and seldom seen.

this always gets me emotional cause he really meant the lyrics,in 81 he had just 10yrs left and he's not here to see how much he's still loved and grow old disgracfully loving life. this song gives the rest of the band a break. now adam lambert is their singer.i've seen videos of Brian still performing this with freddie on a screen behind him.at the end he reaches out as if to touch freddies hand.he gets quite emotional.
@@shirleyklein1770 omg I can't believe I'd ever make that mistake. I guess I was more emotional than I thought lol. Thanks for that catch, I've corrected it.phew
Freddie wrote this song. It is a beautiful song that was very elaborate on the album but fans kept asking for it in the live shows so Freddie asked Brian to put together something that the audience could join in on. Audiences around the world sing along with this song even when English is not their language. They know all the words, it is magical. Thank you for your reaction. Rock Montreal is the movie that was filmed of this concert. It was done in two different days so the audience doesn't really appear much in the movie. This movie was released in IMAX earlier this year for 2 weeks and I was able to see it twice. Because it was filmed on 8 mm film instead of video, it is absolutely perfect in IMAX and the sound was outstanding. I really did feel like I was right there at a Queen concert throughout the entire movie except I was seated and that just never happened for me at a Queen Concert.
About the guy with the Fro, lol. Everytime you hear "We Will Rock You" or "We are the Champions" at sports arenas & Stadiums, you're hearing the guy with the Fro. Brian May is without a doubt one of the legends still alive today.
That's Brian May, much beloved & exalted guitarist & an astrophysicist too! Fun fact - he uses a coin rather than a plectrum to pick the guitar strings.
I have to tell you BP, that you’re still only scratching the surface of how great a band Queen was. So great in fact, that while all the songs you’ve listened to so far are some of their biggest hits, their best songs never even charted or had limited air play. I’m going to mention some with the premise the Queensters will jump in and provide others. I’d do it myself but I’m at work and I’m a one finger typer and it’s starting to hurt🤣. “Liar”, “Brighton Rock”, “Doing Alright”, “Great King Rat”, “Ogre Battle”, “Father to Son”, “The March of the Black Queen”, “Now I’m Here”, “White Man”, “The Prophet’s Song”, “Sheer Heart Attack” and “It’s Late”. Okay folks, please take it from here !
Keep, you'll never get enough of queen the best band ever and freddie the best vocalist ever his voice musician ,best front man and the guitarist brian may legendary guitar player ever very talented too all the members of queen are great musicians every one of them wrote songs just legendary band great reaction thanks keep going❤❤
Sweetie the man with the hair is Sir Brian May one of the greatest rock guitarists ever and he is also an astrophysicist xx Freddie was simply the greatest performer that's ever drawn breath xx
It is crazy how much people need to and don’t know about entire band Legends of Queen! It is refreshing to know that although reactor(real reactors) still have a long way to go to really appreciate the pioneers of music in general! To educate and appreciate the emotions that this type of music has been apart of so many peoples lives for so long and to see new audiences taking away the stereotypes of what each genre should sound like is really something special to witness! For some of us it brings us back to a more simpler time when musicality and words meant more than just words on a paper and a hymn people could hum too! It was a lifestyle and a memory that will never dye!! Thank you for being open and honest about your knowledge of these amazing artists! Yes Brian is amazing and Very talented too not just in music but in science as well! All of the members of Queen are very talented and bring a certain level of respect and appreciation to their musical talents!! They all can sing too no doubt about that! ❤
1 of my favourite Queen songs.so beautiful!!.would love to see you react to the other video of this where the whole audience sing the song word for word and Freddie is visibly moved by them its so beautiful it makes me cry ❤
The great thing about the gal at the end is that back then, security ensured that only authorized professional photagraphers were alowed to bring cameras into the gig, let alone stand at the front of the stage with a camera. That probably means that that pro photographer at the end was so moved she wasn't even taking shots! Awesome.
His voice....I'm speechless. I never heard this song. I love your channel BP! I'm so glad I found you! 60 year old woman that loves the Grateful Dead and Tupac!
I hope you review their first decade of music which lays the foudation of their rise, growth, and versatility. Two early televised BBC concerts worth watching and reviewing are 2974 Live at the Rainbow, including Stone Cold Crazy, Liar, Seven Seas of Rhye, Fairy Fellow Master Stroke etc. all black side written by Freddie, White side written mostly by Brian; and the other concert was 1975 Live at the Odeon Hammersmith including White Queen and The March of the Black Queen.
I’m so glad you enjoyed this great song …..Freddie always sang every song like he meant every word……from hard rock and roll to beautiful love ballads ……to singing opera in Barcelona…..he was simply amazing. I didn’t see that you had a playlist for Queen ….so it’s hard for me to know which songs you have reacted to. Most of their songs are better when performed live ……. So please react to any and all of their live performances: “Save Me” “Tie Your Mother Down” “One Vision” “A Kind of Magic” “Under Pressure” are just a few….. But many great songs were never performed live….”The Show Must go On” Freddie sang this song shortly before he died, he was very sick and weak ….. it was released weeks before he passed away……. but his voice was still fantastic. You really must react to this song ……please😊. Thank you for your honest and heartfelt reactions…..looking forward to more Queen reactions.
The guitarist is Dr. Brian May, he not only is one of the best guitarist out there but has a PhD in Astrophysics. He is also known as Sir Brian May because he was knighted by King Charles. The amazing, charismatic, talented legendary Freddie Mercury wrote this song for his ex fiancé Mary Austin. They were together for 6 years and when he came out to her as bisexual it ended their romantic relationship but solidified an even greater love between them. She was his steady rock and confidante and closest friend for he rest of his life. He bought her a house very close to his and she worked as his bookkeeper and she traveled with him and she was one of the few people he literally trusted with his money and his life. He left her half of his estate and his home and all of his belongings and trusted her with his ashes after he was cremated. He always feared that obsessed fans would desecrate his grave and disturb his rest so before he died he told her what he wanted done with his ashes and for her to never tell anyone not even his family or his band mates. She kept this vow to him, she said about two years after his death when the paparazzi stopped following her she took his ashes and snuck out of the house one day and carried out his wishes. No one else in the world knows what she did with them and she said no one ever will. She is in her 70’s now and she has never written a book about him or smeared his name in any way like so many of his so called friends have done and she will take his secret burial spot to her grave. She loved him enough to let him go so he could be his authentic self and he in turn said in interviews that all his lovers want to know why they can’t replace Mary and he said it’s impossible to replace her in his heart. No one could ever come between them, they just had what he called a pure love of the highest order. He said to him that she was his common law wife and that they had a marriage and he would love her until his last breath and he did. His produce and friend Mac Reinhold said in an interview that before Freddie was diagnosed with aids that Freddie had told him that he might be ready to give up his lifestyle that he was living and settle down and maybe think about having a family. People say Freddie was gay but he told Mary he was bisexual and he had sexual relations with many other women as well as men and in his later years more men then women but I have to wonder if he had lived if at some point he would have settled down with Mary. I don’t know for sure of course but he was very close to Mac and his family and was Godfather to Mac’s son Freddie Mac, obviously named after after Freddie, and Freddie spent a lot of time with them and really envied that family life. Freddie was sent to boarding school in India when he was 7 years old and barely seen his own parents until he was like 16 or 17 and they moved to London so Freddie didn’t have that close knit family life growing up and it really caused him to have abandonment issue his whole life. He hated being alone and it was hard for him to have a committed relationship with anybody. It’s rather said that his parents did that to him. Anyway. That’s the info that I’ve read about him and I’ve read and watched everything I can find about him and Queen. They are my favorite band.
Brian and Freddie wrote both individually and wrote many songs together. Brian wrote some of my favorite Queen 10:28 songs. I love The Prophet Song, 39, Teo Torriatte...
Just beautiful. Please check out one of their last songs/videos for These Are the Days of Our Lives. Freddie was in the end stages of AIDS but the video and song are touching.
If you haven’t watched the movie “Bohemian Rhapsody” then you need to! Its phenomenal! It came out a few years ago and you’ll understand so much more about Queen and Freddy. He wrote that song about someone he was in love with. Great movie!
I love your reactions! I would like to see a reaction to Stone Cold Crazy, Rainbow Live & I'm in Love with my Car, Montreal 1981. Bother are under 5 minutes so you could do them together if you want.🙂
Highly recommend you check out These Are The Days Of Our Lives - it's Queen's last ever music video, and you see just how brilliant they were right until the very end in the 90s.
Freddie Mercury wrote several songs that were inspired by his relationship with Mary Austin, who was a significant figure in his life. The most notable songs include: "Love of My Life" - This ballad from Queen's album A Night at the Opera (1975) expresses deep affection and longing, often interpreted as a tribute to Mary. "You're My Best Friend" - Co-written by Mercury and Queen's guitarist Brian May, this song from the album A Night at the Opera is often thought to reflect Mercury's close friendship and emotional bond with Mary. "The Night Comes Down" - While not directly about Mary, this song from Queen II (1974) contains themes of love and longing that can be associated with his feelings for her. "Dear Friends" - This track from the album Queen II is a gentle and heartfelt reflection on friendship, which can also be linked to Mercury’s feelings for Mary. Freddie often referred to Mary as his common-law wife, and their relationship deeply influenced his music and lyrics throughout his career.

Rock in Rio 85- Crowd sings and Freddie joins in a couple of times
This Montreal version has always been my favorite, Freddie sings it so beautifully.
Freddie had a voice like no other! Mary was the love of his life
I love this song. Thank you for this version. ❤
this always gets me emotional cause he really meant the lyrics,in 81 he had just 10yrs left and he's not here to see how much he's still loved and grow old disgracfully loving life.
this song gives the rest of the band a break.
now adam lambert is their singer.i've seen videos of Brian still performing this with freddie on a screen behind him.at the end he reaches out as if to touch freddies hand.he gets quite emotional.
It's actually Brian and Freddie not Roger
@@shirleyklein1770 omg I can't believe I'd ever make that mistake.
I guess I was more emotional than I thought lol.
Thanks for that catch, I've corrected it.phew
Me second favourite Queen song after The Show must go on & My melancholy blues tie for first. Dear Freddie was so unique
Then it is your third favourite Queen song.
@ correct :-)
Love this it was so raw just Freddie & Brian, fantastic, thank you
That's Brian May, much beloved & exalted guitarist & an astrophysicist too! Fun fact - he uses a coin rather than a plectrum to pick the guitar strings.
This is so gorgeous. Long live Queen!!!!!❤
@Proud.American58 Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy, Seaside Rendez Vous, Teo Torriatte, I'm In Love With My Car.
@ thanks! Who’s next with some more great songs we have yet to mention?
Keep, you'll never get enough of queen the best band ever and freddie the best vocalist ever his voice musician ,best front man and the guitarist brian may legendary guitar player ever very talented too all the members of queen are great musicians every one of them wrote songs just legendary band great reaction thanks keep going❤❤
Queen never miss
That is the exceptional Brian May playing the acoustic guitar.
There has only been 1 Freddie Mercury
Montreal is still lit! fantastic restaurants, great summer festivals, great places to go out, and some of the most beautiful women in the world!
There's another video of this song where the audience sings with him and he directs them it's so good ❤
When my husband passed in 2010, I played this song at his funeral.
BP, your reaction to this video was equally transformative as that girls in the front row.💔😭
THIS is musical magic!
Great reaction. It's great how the power of music can move someone isn't it.
Freddie is the GOAT!!
There are all great artist but there will never be anyone greater than Freddie Mercury.
1 of my favourite Queen songs.so beautiful!!.would love to see you react to the other video of this where the whole audience sing the song word for word and Freddie is visibly moved by them its so beautiful it makes me cry ❤
You gotta check out this song live from Rio, the whole crowd is singing it ♥️
The great thing about the gal at the end is that back then, security ensured that only authorized professional photagraphers were alowed to bring cameras into the gig, let alone stand at the front of the stage with a camera. That probably means that that pro photographer at the end was so moved she wasn't even taking shots! Awesome.
His voice....I'm speechless. I never heard this song. I love your channel BP! I'm so glad I found you! 60 year old woman that loves the Grateful Dead and Tupac!
The studio version is lovely. Freddie sings lead and all the harmonies; Brian plays harp!
But many great songs were never performed live….”The Show Must go On”
Freddie sang this song shortly before he died, he was very sick and weak ….. it was released weeks before he passed away……. but his voice was still fantastic. You really must react to this song ……please😊. Thank you for your honest and heartfelt reactions…..looking forward to more Queen reactions.
This is my absolute fav queen song. The best one I have seen is live at Wembley 1986
I ❤ Queen!! I ❤❤❤ Freddie!
Bring back memories...I was there.
I was there too! This brings back such great memories.
I'd never heard this Queen song! Beautiful!
Another great reaction, Dude!
It's on A Night at the Opera
You need to watch “Live of my life”in Wembley 1986
Brian and Freddie wrote both individually and wrote many songs together. Brian wrote some of my favorite Queen 10:28 songs. I love The Prophet Song, 39, Teo Torriatte...
Man, I love that you show your heart! Thank you for sharing a part of you with us! ❤
Please react to his opera with Montserrat cabelle ❤️❤️
Just beautiful. Please check out one of their last songs/videos for These Are the Days of Our Lives. Freddie was in the end stages of AIDS but the video and song are touching.
Reaction Queen a night at the opera Love Of My Life pliss 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
If you haven’t watched the movie “Bohemian Rhapsody” then you need to! Its phenomenal! It came out a few years ago and you’ll understand so much more about Queen and Freddy. He wrote that song about someone he was in love with. Great movie!
Thank you. I watched to the end.
It's nice to see others are using cognitive abilities.
Namaste 💜🙏
Live in Rio will blow your mind. 🎉
Freddie said that playing the crowd was his favorite instrument.
I love your reactions! I would like to see a reaction to Stone Cold Crazy, Rainbow Live & I'm in Love with my Car, Montreal 1981. Bother are under 5 minutes so you could do them together if you want.🙂
Thank you for this. One of my favorites by Queen. ❤
Brain may the guitarist say the with the crowd after Freddie's passing...so emotional and everyone sang and missed him together..it's on RUclips
The most notable songs include:
"Love of My Life" - This ballad from Queen's album A Night at the Opera (1975) expresses deep affection and longing, often interpreted as a tribute to Mary.
John Deacon wrote "You're My Best Friend" for his wife
You're. My Best Friend was written by Bassist John Deacon.
@kaljaukko5439 Dear Friends was written by Brian May and so was The Night Comes Down.
Yess thank you for doing this such a good song ❤
You have to watch the movie "Bohemian Rhapsody'. You will learn so much about Queen (like this song) and Freddie. It's a great movie.
Sir Brian may on guitar who wrote we will rock you,fat bottom girls among others and my favourite who wants to live forever, there are 4 members of queen who all write their songs, also the ost for flash and highlander movies, love watching you
Impossible not see that ❤❤❤
Brian May is the geniuses name you didn't yet know ;) I love the Rock In Rio version of this song. An enormous Brazilian crowd sing and feel every word of this song. It is magical.
Sir Brian May one of earths angels
Great reaction! If you enjoy live performances by Queen please put on your list the song "White Queen" from the Odeon Hammersmith, 1975! It's epic!
So beautiful ❤ thanks for the reaction 😊
To me, the best Queen song ever ❤❤❤
Beautiful song for sure. beautiful reaction, thank you.
You’re absolutely right about Fauci and thank you for mentioning it.
Somebody to Love from Montreal and their Live Aid performance is a must. I thought you had reactions to Queen, anyway Brian May on the guitar.
