Who says we can’t make our own #homemadepizza ? During these times not only is it safer for us to cook in our own kitchens but it gives us a chance to put another notch on that culinary belt. Today we are #makingpizzaathome. Can’t hurt to try right?
And guess what if you’re hungry and you want it quick...you probably have the ingredients in your house already. Some leftover sauce, a few tomatoes, pepperoni and cheese is all you need. Crazy right?
This recipe uses #pillsburypizzadough because everybody is buying up flour and yeast to make bread! and of course add any of YOUR favorite toppings...Let's get our #pizza on!

Lol same, but I figured out a way to not be surprised with the pop. I peel the wrap to the halfway point then bang in one or your counter edges. As you hit the tube it pops so your momentum makes you forget about the pop. Works every time lol

I see a lot of people commenting about the dough it’s pretty simple I have made it hundreds of time you take off the paper all the way is a knife it pops and Shape it so don’t put in the freezers bc they it will not go smoothly put it in the fridge

I’ve done this except I cook it in a cast iron skillet and I press mozzarella cheese around the top crust press it against the skillet it forms a hard tasty cheesy crust please try it you won’t be sorry

I learned something so fantastic last week. Those annoying pop in your face cans....tear off the paper and just wack it on the counter and it pops right open. No more trying to pop the seam open.

How many seconds on the microwave to melt the butter and garlic ; I used garlic powder is this best recommended or suggested
Yes, I used garlic powder also. Since it was such a small amount of butter, I microwaved it 10 seconds at a time so it doesnt splatter. It maybe took 30 seconds total, for the butter to completely melt but every microwave is different.
What temperature was your oven set for
400 degrees to preheat and to bake the pizza.
In the beginning it looked like you were gonna mess it up tbh, but it came out good 👍🏽
Why cook the crust first instead of cooking all at one time?
The directions say to precook the dough. I can tell you from experience, if you add sauce and cheese to the raw dough it is very soft and spongy. All your toppings will just slide off. If you precook it alittle it will firm up and hold the sauce and cheese better, like pizza from a restaurant. You can cut it better also.
I was wondering that too but figured it must have said it on the directions.

I cooked this for the first time and 25 minutes and I don’t know if it is just me but the bread tastes very off. Any advice or tips? 😭😭

How long Did you put the pizza in the oven for
8 minutes to preheat the dough. Then brush garlic butter on, then back in the oven for about 1min. 30 sec. After you put your sauce, toppings, and cheese on put it back in one more time for about 7 minutes to melt the cheese.

This is like the "participation trophy" of pizza's right? I only say that because you at least got your "feet wet" and tried, and in fact succeeded. When you said: "sauce is sauce" you kinda lost me. I find that some pizza sauces are created more equal than others. You might find the same w/ other sauces, dough's or toppings? I see that a lot of the comments feel that you did a great job, you did! But, you can do better. You don't have to join the ARMY to be the best you can be! Make all of us a better pizza maker !
