Usually nail polish doesn't last on me for more than two days. Even regular Essie doesn't. The Gel Couture lasted for 6 days with just minor tipwear. I'm in love!

aw yay a fellow dancer. I think about going back all the time! unfortunately my two original teachers just passed. they are great. they were sisters I was lucky to have someone teach me the strict ballet they practiced in the 30s lol!

Thanks Kim! As soon as I saw this collection I knew I wanted to have some mini ballet slippers in the video so it took me a while to find them but I finally did! I'm wearing Hold the Position as a full mani which is rare for me since I usually only have 4 nails painted or naked nails lol Thanks for watching girl! 💕
So I love the collection can't believe I just got to watching it I'm super behind. I love the entire collection, never tried it but now I'm curious with that light grey I may just go for it to see if it lasts

This was great, thank you! I have tried Essie Gel Couture before and I am also a huge fan. I have one of the original blue polishes and I also have "Sew Me" right next to me which is tonally right in line with these Ballet nudes.

I just went wild and bought 9 new Essie colors one of them being kind of a dark blue purple ( I don't have the name with me) I had to put four coats I was absolutely horrified for $10 it takes 4 coats .... 4 thick coats to cover completely! I have sally Hansen or dollar store LA colors they take 1 coat and maybe 2 to make it awesome. so what's upwith ESSIE having hardly any coverage??? So pissed right now 🤑
Not all essie's have the same formula. You probably got a polish with a jelly or sheer formula. Some people love that type of formula. It's best to look up reviews or swatches of polish you want so that you don't get one with a formula you don't like :)
What an informative and creative review. I think I loved all of them! And seriously, no base coat needed? If it lasted a week I'd be thrilled!
