Please note that we do not state our own opinion but are simply trying to communicate what both sides are saying. It's best we stay away from politics in the future.

though it is technically not a muslim ban, it is a restriction against many majority muslim countries. It also is there to make sure that people of a different religion (Trump specified christian, though the law is actually broader than that) than the majority (Muslim) in those countries can get in more easily. Therefore, it is accurate to call it a muslim ban. (And besides, the episode wasn't about the travel ban, and so it would be unnecessary to go through those details) Also, I am pretty sure that any that chooses to watch these videos is informed enough to know the details when something is referenced.

That is enough evidence to suggest it IS a 'Muslim Ban' based on him even saying PRIOR to the election that he would implement a 'Muslim Ban' if elected.

Alucard13211 Actually it is a list of countries that governments cannot vet their citizens. The US doesn't actually carry out background checks, the countries the immigrants come from do. If I went from say France to the US, France would look at my history and give it tot the US to help decide if I may be a terrorist or criminal. In countries like Syria where the government has almost no control over half its claimed territory this could be pretty hard to do.
Oh and the list of countries were decided by the Obama administration and Trump then asked many departments if it needed any additions, they did not add any more countries.
And a 90 day ban is not long. You realise that time is to be spent to aid the US' ability to vet people from these countries?

Democracy only works well in peacetime. In a war, you need to have a central authority, but also an Assembly/Parliament of some sort, to restrict the leader's power. In Poland-Lithuania, the country was invaded by the Ottoman Empire in 1672, and the Sijm (Polish Parliament) could not decide whether to raise war taxes, conscript soldiers, sign a peace treaty, any war plans ect. It was a huge mess, and the Polish King (later the hero at Vienna) could do nothing but lead his small army (which the Sijm couldn't agree on whether to increase or not) against over 100,000 Turks.

Property ownership as a qualification for voter enrolment was all but removed in 1879 extending rights to working-class leaseholders (renters). In 1893 when women’s suffrage was passed, NZ garnered international attention also, for not only being the first self-governing country in the world to grant the right to vote to all adult women, but also to abolish plural votes, endorsing “one person, one vote”

As always, this has been informative. I'd say that in small groups, socialism could work because in theory, everyone would be working for the common good of their familiar group. As groups get larger, there'd be less concern for unfamiliar people, thus cooperation would fall apart. In my opinion, an educated populous is needed for a successful democracy and a trustworthy ruling class is needed for a suitable republic.

    • @TheZombieslayer2002

Babcia Stefcia thats what democracy is, democracy allows anyone to form a party and be voted for, communism ban all parties that isn’t communist, essentially a dictatorship in party type.
Now i’m going say this as you sound very communist. Communism and socialism DO NOT work. They cause widespread poverty and corruption.
Firstly they both deliver equity based on outcome which causes the value of work to decrease as there is little gain from worker harder jobs. Whats the point in becoming a surgeon or a lawyer if your wage is minutely increased and your always guaranteed a house anyway? Secondly, Communism places restrictions on advertisement and profit gain. People won’t start businesses as there are few, if any, ways to promote there product. The government would restrict most product that we deemed with the intention of making profit. This could include smartphones, PCs, TVs and any other luxury item I assume you use daily as you made that comment. Large corporations not controlled by the government are an automatic no. This cause rapid unemployment as most people in the world are not self employed and work for major corporations such as tesco, wallmart. apple, construction companies. Even your food and drink would be restricted as many branded products would be prohibited such as coke or popular food brands. Lastly foreign investment and tourism would shrink to a minimum or none. Foreign companies invest in prosperous countries that bring them customers. These companies would provide jobs and new products to the country or make existing products cheaper. Tourism will have severe restrictions and those tourists that do come will have pre-planned stay by the government. And referring to my previous statements, there isn’t going to be any jobs serving tourists not is there going to be much for tourist to buy.
All of this shatters the Economy. And if you want to leave? You can’t. Because you can only vote communist.
