It looks a great idea and I wish the owners every success in their business. Being a Land Rover it can of course be used for events where coffee/tea is needed in off road areas the ideal vehicle. Can I assume that it will be painted in that lovely blue when it’s finished and sign written with the name of the business etc? It deserves to be really well finished! This will also help sales. Maybe as it’s based in Devon and Cornwall they should sell traditional Cornish pasties!
Beautiful! Dom, that waste tank was a work of art and great problem solving. Great coffee and a super cool Discovery coming to Devon soon! I did tell the dog about it, I’m sorry she wasn’t interested. She prefers puddle juice ( grim).
@@DominicChineas Will certainly be watching your channel from now on. Carpentry is my talent and usual go to utube watching, but you have inspired me to perhaps have a go at something mechanical. Love the Vespa build. Regards Pete
Just found you on youtube. Fantastic content. Cant wait to catch up with the backlist of videos. Would love to see any tool restorations you may do from car boots. Big thumbs up. Made my weekend finding your channel. Love repair shop obvs.
Hot sausage rolls... cakes maybe. Lol, you sounded most enthusiastic about the cakes lol. Perfect combo though, good coffee, sausage roll and apiece of cake at the beach... roll on summer 2021 :) Great video bud. Again.
Might be just me, but just for a moment that waste tank looked like an exhaust pod from Doc Brown’s DeLorean! (I wouldn’t be surprised if Dom hasn’t worked a flux capacitor into that Defender somewhere...)
The fresh water tank is 40L an espresso only uses around 60ml. Now I am not great at maths but thats a lot! also a spare water can on the roof will work, it will be very easy to refill. Thanks for watching!
I built a similar project in a trailer some 16 years ago, using a 2 group electric/gas hybrid machine, with 140L water & 40L waste tanks. However, I don’t agree that the rotary pump needs mains pressure to operate. My pump is at the same level as the bottom of the feed tanks, but 900mm below the espresso machine itself, & both have been working well all that time. 40L of clean water is not a lot, and will probably be insufficient for a good days operation. If the owners would like any insights/observations etc, I’d be happy to discuss, for what it’s worth... I look forward to watching part 2.
Hello Dom, Nice little project, you can't beat having a problem or two to get your gears turning! Should be cool when it's done. Are there any plans for your sign writing skills to be employed or is this fabrication only? Cheers Simon
Great question! They are still working on the logo and branding, but it’s definitely going to get some descent signwriting! I can’t wait for that bit, that will be a great video!
You should give a shout-out to Fracino the coffee machine maker (sounds Italian, but made in Birmingham - we have one in our house) . . . and the chap that owns the Fracino business drives a Defender, he'll be wanting a conversion :-)
@@DominicChineas don't worry about that mate. Yeah all good this end cheers, glad I stumbled across you on here, interesting to follow 🧐. The old man will like your content also 👍
You are a genius, Mr Dom Vinci! 👏

A very neat solution for that waste water tank Dom, well done indeed. Kind regards, Richard.
Thank you, its been a lot of work but it should perform well
New meaning to I’m just stopping off for a coffee.
Nice defender too. They’ll end up dragging other vehicles out of an event with that beast.
They will be able to get coffee to any remote beach in Devon! love it
Dom just watched two vespa, 1 land rover and 2 defender episodes. Absolutely brilliant, keep them coming. Steve Williamson
Brilliant! Thanks Steve, really appreciate it and glad your enjoying the videos
Cool fabrication - very neat!

Great show but to much music between shots carry on doing the good work.
Roof looks factory, Love the attention to detail 😎 That catch tank fits better than some standard fuel tanks! 👍

Very cool. Is that little tank really going to be big enough for a day selling coffee and tea though?

great project brother!
Your dog is identical to ours!
I hope yours is not as much trouble!!
WHAT HAPPENED WITH THE VESPA?
I am still working on the wiring and cables, its too boring to film! there will be an update soon!
What you absolutely dont need in a coffee vehicle is a waste tank with lots of places for milk to go rancid. should have just had a hose to a bucket.
