Well I mostly play Grand races. If they don't fk up GR, I don't think player base will be dropping because of grind nerf. My only wish that they added more variations of GR or maybe some kind of ranking system. I can agree tha summit rewards are bit small for Platinum. One legendary part and 50k bruh... we can get that from 1 GR.
Grand Races that use only 1 car category could be cool if there's one car you want to be driving or you just have a favorite category. Could be a second rotating event same as the mixed one. Category specific races that use custom parts would be cool because then we have a reason to grind for good parts besides the summit.

How ancient are these people in Ubisoft that they have not yet come up with a way to dispose of useless green and blue parts in bulk. Also, In the Crew 2 you were able to at least transfer entire sets of parts from one vehicle to another and I have no idea why they did not include it in this newer, updated game.
Yup, they need to offer full sets as rewards for the summits, because grinding out 5 sets per each of the 14 classes for a total of 70 different sets is ridiculous! Especially when it takes multiple hours just to get one set due to the RNG factor. I don't want to spend 50+ hours grinding sets just to be more competitive in summits...
That's my issue too! I've been playing for weeks and I have a job so I don't have time to grind and I can't do a macro on Xbox so I have to play to earn stuff. Another thing is how does a part set give them such an advantage? Like slaloms I got almost the same time as a guy I was watching on YT and he got literally 12k more points than me. I got like 80k for summit and he had over 125k.
Kinda wish they just fixed the events where you had to do it in a crew, and just have it with ai cars roaming around.. don’t have a “crew” and people in crews are disappearing lol
what they should have done, is limit the XP earned per specific feat, per hour, or half hour, any completed after the limit, in the set timeframe, earns zero XP.

The livery editor bugs (dissapearing liveries, not being able to navigate through local folder etc.) and the inability to crew up with more than one person without one player getting kicked from the crew were for me the two big ones that needed fixing ASAP. Doesn't seem like either got fixed. Such a shame.
@@JustThatTanker Some of those could be do to people reporting them, but there have been times where my car had a livery, i go to browse for a better one and then return to the menu with no livery at all 🤷♂

From my perspective the fix for the macros was okay because i didnt grind parts like that, too boring and repetitive for me, but seeing it from a point of someone who does, it makes sense. it literally only makes it harder to grind and that not what the macro users are doing, they just start it and leave, they aren’t grinding for 2-3 hours at a time and like you said all they have to do is change the buttons that need to be pressed to restart the feat. How did they not think about that?
The number one thing that needs to get fixed is turning traffic off...especially for skills and events, etc... don't care about free roam but it's insanely stupid to have traffic any other time. It was the biggest issue with the crew2 also

Nah, fuck grinding for parts with the escape method. It's a step in the right direction imo. The next step would be to limit the amount of times you can get rewards from a feat in short succession. I'd rather play the game than just grind for shit. The legendary parts are not useful in grand races and are generally not required to have the set bonus to get plat in the summits.
For summits, they can literally just copy what the crew 2 did, one week of a summit is 1/2 of a set, skip a summit week, then the other half of that set
The update that has dropped, makes the crashes even worse. Had three crashes in a row today. This is on PS5. Update is crap and not resolving anything. Cheaters can still use their stupid macros and they are still on the leaderboards and get all the goodies. Fair players like me are getting punished. Whats next? Are those cheaters making a macro that they dont have to touch their controller or whatever and drive over the top laptimes? Sick of this game already and worst part is...Ubisoft is the blame and they dont really care in my opinion.
I’ve just had the same crash error today on the crew M. I don’t know if it’s my ps or the game. But since I’ve gotten the game I’ve been having these crashes on this game and other games as well. Since taking a break from it I haven’t had any errors on other games

Crew 2 summit cars ? Cause Evo X red fury was summit car and you got it in TCM. Or Motorpass cars ? cause they release motorpass cars for you to buy in TC2 for credits so you can get them in TC2 and import in TCM
Absolutely agree that this is a problem. I believe it’s the Japan playlist challenges. There’s one that I cannot complete, because it requires a car from the crew 2 that I can’t obtain.
They need to fix the respawn in GRs. I respawned once and it literally had me driving backwards😂 I’ve also seen this happen to lots of others too, it’s annoying asl.
You say "who cares how you play the game as long as it's you playing and not a program" but how is the game meant to tell whether it's a person doing the loop or a program? It's tough for them to nerf the cheating without affecting both parties in this situation
And let's talk about how the parts that the game gives you are balanced. It will give you a tone of ecu nitro chemist for example, but not 1 motorcore. It took me a week for street tier 2 cause the game was refusing to give that 1 part. Today I got 2 motorcore nitro chemist in 1 green box. Same for planes. I have few complete sets that are missing 1 part only.
We shouldn't care about being first on any leader board or how people play the game, macros or not. This is not a competitive game anyway. What we should complain over is the summit system, only a few thousand people can get the platinum reward. I think if you can't win them you should still be able to buy those cars.

It’s a nightmare. I’ll be one or two nitro chem parts away from a full set and constantly get duplicates of affixes I don’t want. They really don’t like giving me gearboxes or suspensions. It feels like nitro chem has a lower drop rate than the rest.
If they want to keep players interested they need to improve car balance for grand races. I’m already getting bored when every Grand Race has the same exact cars, swarms of meta cars like Focus RS, Z4 Rally Raid, Citroën C3, Huracan..
I have almost 200hours into the game,haven't grinded a single race for parts ,if I want a plat in summit ,I get plat in summit with whatever parts I got ,just get the right afixes ,that not much but it's enough ,haven't grinded for money ,haven't grinded for parts ,I'm just average grand race enjoyer ,for me it's grand race the game (sadly I'm forced to do non-asphalt events),and yes I get it people with grinded parts gets a good advantage over me ,but I don't really care as long as I can get plats with stuff I got
I believe within the next couple months they are doing that I heard on the grapevine that they are going to bring back the full sets and a bunch of new cars New summit cars all that all all some of the similar rewards from crew to and again I just heard this on the grapevine
I’ve never had the game crash, and only once did my frames drop (it was right before the maintenance tho so I’m unsure if it was actually a frame drop and not just the servers being closed) Actually hilarious how they tried to patch the rewind exploit and somehow still failed
Thank god they fixed that..... If its abused it should be re worked.... Also summit should be alone events, but this also happens in TC2 so i was already waiting for them to ruin it by fixing....
Is anybody still have this issue I am having, After 5-10 minutes I get kicked from the servers no matter where I am or what I am doing. It typically gives me a code beginning with 4_0 and says “you have been disconnected from the servers”. My internet is fine I have re downloaded it, verified files opened Ubisoft tickets and nothing has helped and Ubisoft never answers my case. Please help I just want to play 😭 (on PC by the way)
They need to increase the payouts for these races A 4 min race gets me like 35k depending on afox stats for bucks and or crew bonus now imagine wanting to buy those very expensive hyper cars. 10 replays or about maybe 45ish minutes and your only at 350k and some of those cars are 2.6-2.7m so 9 times or in this case replaying the race 90 times for a total of maybe 7 hrs for 1 hyper car is not worth it
They need to make it so you can only reset 3x in any Grand Race people are abusing this or make it so if you are a constant rammer you get a slowed down 2 secs . I love the game but I am seeing people totally wipe out in front pf me and then get respawned 5 cars ahead of me which is crazy

I still don’t have proper sets in crew 2 and how will I even get it in this game? Grinding is really good and fun but make it a bit enjoyable to grind is all I ask for
Pretty sad that IVT doesn't seem to care a lot about quality of life or basic bugs like local shapes in the livery editor or even basic livery search. Tbh I don't know if I'll renew my ubi+ subscription if they keep this up, the game is fun but it's riddled with so many little issues, doesn't even seem like a sequel.
Lucky n gold finger needs a buff n the 2 drag events specifically also. Like how tf am I still getting green n blue parts with lucky maxed out with loot digger activated. N hell yeah we need way better rewards in the non car summit summits.
I wish they would get rid of pc for cross play especially for the grand race, it seems like they have a bunch of advantages over consoles, im a good racer and it seems no matter how good I drive they just pull away no matter what
While this won't make me stop playing and loving Motorfest, it definitely makes me annoyed. The game needs quality improvements more than these ""bug"" fixes. Import parts, better rng for parts, an overall rework for the upgrade system, ghost traffic, better Summit rewards, etc. I want to believe that they're just saving all of this stuff for the next season, but I don't think anyone wants to wait a whole month just to see some improvement. The only good thing is the optimization (I've managed to achieve 120fps in small window mode in a low-mid pc), but that's it.
Regarding the "grind" how about you just play the game, even tho is not as quick or efficent as just passing through the same speed trap over and over again you could actually enjoy the gameplay.
I played the crew 2 for a couple of years before I got bored with it, motorfest has already pushed my boredom button. Playing on console is so much more than just a grind! It is repetitively dull, yeah it plays well and looks amazing but it takes way too long to gain anything at all unless you do a couple of straight hours doing the exact same thing over and over again. It feels like the souls like of racing games, the is shit and you have grind like a test to get what? Maybe after just a month or 2 It feels old and worn out, where's the rest of the islands, where's all the boat races, plane races, plane stunt courses, monster truck arenas, motorcross arenas, rally and rally raid races, street and street 2 and racing and hyper car only races. I'm sick of changing vehicles 3 times during a race over the same tracks now. It's just lacking in all race/driving respects. I bet they drop all that stuff as pay for dlc, just to feed the fleas on a road kill dog.

I'm not mad about the summit rewards at all, but I'm just mad abouth the fact that regular PS5 players all of a sudden have to be in the top 10.000 of all platforms. In The Crew 2 I always reached top 10.000 with a few exceptions for summits with boat races, though drift races, Drag races and airplane races. Now I don't even know how far off I am for the top 10.000. Like is it just 10.000 points or is it 100.000 points. On top of that both summits with a car in it, didn't even work for me. They always tend to choose the races with a car or bike that needs slipstream to get more than 100.000 points. Plus like you mentioned in your guide for the CBR1000 race, you have to use and learn the manual shifter for that race. While nowadays modern automatics win from every non-professional if it's comes down to shifting alone. So why don't racing games apply at least the 50/50 split for Automatci vs. Manual. Yesterday I tried this weeks summit alone again and reached my first ever Bike race with more than 50.000 points. While if this was a race in The Crew 2 I get 100.000 points just like that. I know it's called Thé Crew, but that shouldn't imply that it's a co-op racing game only. On the other hand they also changed the points for Drift races wherein you can easily get above 150.000 points, while the same race in The Crew would still give you only 70.000 points for the same point total.
Just a note on the motorcycle gearshifting, they're not the same as cars having fast automatic transmissions. Fast bikes still have manual gearboxes. They're sequential and you control them with your foot.
Bruh, the game is a shit show. There is no reason to play even the summits since it's a pure cut fest, the whole game is predicated on being a cheesy POS trying to cut every corner you can to come out on top, it's not a good model.
Parts should be free and no grinding required for anything. We bought the game... everything thing should be unlocked and available from day one. I'd rather pay more for the game than waste my time grinding anything. My time is more valuable than $. These games are obviously not marketed to working adults who don't have the free time to waste grinding.

My saved car interior colour disappears at times when I’m in a grand race or go to save vehicles when the car spawns in

Speedtraps or wtf ever the xp gains per thing need boosted. 400xp per try and 100k per level is dumb. Nobody has that kind of time

They need to make it so you can only reset 3x in any Grand Race people are abusing this or make it so if you are a constant rammer you get a slowed down 2 secs . I love the game but I am seeing people totally wipe out in front pf me and then get respawned 5 cars ahead of me which is crazy
They need to add underglows and nitrous to actually buy easily like nfs heat the fact that you can only get them from challenges or summit is annoying asf and there’s really nothing to do in this game besides playlists and grand races I only played this game like 2 weeks and got bored
They should make it grindy but this is a little too much I’m just a casual player who enjoys cars and drives. I don’t have the time or interest to grind the game for better parts or that much money or XP either. I have crew 2 also but still I don’t own more than 200 cars inclusive of both games. I still don’t have proper sets in crew 2 and how will I even get it in this game? Grinding is really good and fun but make it a bit enjoyable to grind is all I ask for

Pretty sad that IVT doesn't seem to care a lot about quality of life or basic bugs like local shapes in the livery editor or even basic livery search. Tbh I don't know if I'll renew my ubi+ subscription if they keep this up, the game is fun but it's riddled with so many little issues, doesn't even seem like a sequel.

Lucky is sooo bad. Out of a full mailbox (64) you’ll get like 8 legendaries. Most of them will be dupes of affixes you already have also.

I think the sessioning isn't going to get fully fixed because this has been an issue since TC1. It was pretty good at the end of TC2 but still flawed
I wish they would get rid of pc for cross play especially for the grand race, it seems like they have a bunch of advantages over consoles, im a good racer and it seems no matter how good I drive they just pull away no matter what
While this won't make me stop playing and loving Motorfest, it definitely makes me annoyed. The game needs quality improvements more than these ""bug"" fixes. Import parts, better rng for parts, an overall rework for the upgrade system, ghost traffic, better Summit rewards, etc. I want to believe that they're just saving all of this stuff for the next season, but I don't think anyone wants to wait a whole month just to see some improvement.
The only good thing is the optimization (I've managed to achieve 120fps in small window mode in a low-mid pc), but that's it.
It genuinely feels like nitro chemist has worse rates than all the other sets.

Regarding the "grind" how about you just play the game, even tho is not as quick or efficent as just passing through the same speed trap over and over again you could actually enjoy the gameplay.

I played the crew 2 for a couple of years before I got bored with it, motorfest has already pushed my boredom button. Playing on console is so much more than just a grind! It is repetitively dull, yeah it plays well and looks amazing but it takes way too long to gain anything at all unless you do a couple of straight hours doing the exact same thing over and over again. It feels like the souls like of racing games, the is shit and you have grind like a test to get what? Maybe after just a month or 2 It feels old and worn out, where's the rest of the islands, where's all the boat races, plane races, plane stunt courses, monster truck arenas, motorcross arenas, rally and rally raid races, street and street 2 and racing and hyper car only races. I'm sick of changing vehicles 3 times during a race over the same tracks now. It's just lacking in all race/driving respects. I bet they drop all that stuff as pay for dlc, just to feed the fleas on a road kill dog.

I'm not mad about the summit rewards at all, but I'm just mad abouth the fact that regular PS5 players all of a sudden have to be in the top 10.000 of all platforms. In The Crew 2 I always reached top 10.000 with a few exceptions for summits with boat races, though drift races, Drag races and airplane races.
Now I don't even know how far off I am for the top 10.000. Like is it just 10.000 points or is it 100.000 points. On top of that both summits with a car in it, didn't even work for me. They always tend to choose the races with a car or bike that needs slipstream to get more than 100.000 points. Plus like you mentioned in your guide for the CBR1000 race, you have to use and learn the manual shifter for that race. While nowadays modern automatics win from every non-professional if it's comes down to shifting alone. So why don't racing games apply at least the 50/50 split for Automatci vs. Manual.
Yesterday I tried this weeks summit alone again and reached my first ever Bike race with more than 50.000 points. While if this was a race in The Crew 2 I get 100.000 points just like that. I know it's called Thé Crew, but that shouldn't imply that it's a co-op racing game only.
On the other hand they also changed the points for Drift races wherein you can easily get above 150.000 points, while the same race in The Crew would still give you only 70.000 points for the same point total.
Just a note on the motorcycle gearshifting, they're not the same as cars having fast automatic transmissions. Fast bikes still have manual gearboxes. They're sequential and you control them with your foot.
The summit rewards,lvl rewards and every other reward in game is ass. So why even care that we use macros🤦🏿♂️

Bruh, the game is a shit show. There is no reason to play even the summits since it's a pure cut fest, the whole game is predicated on being a cheesy POS trying to cut every corner you can to come out on top, it's not a good model.

Parts should be free and no grinding required for anything. We bought the game... everything thing should be unlocked and available from day one. I'd rather pay more for the game than waste my time grinding anything. My time is more valuable than $. These games are obviously not marketed to working adults who don't have the free time to waste grinding.
