Just so everyone understands...This host has the terms "Pronation" & "Supination" backwards when he references pain/discomfort on the medial and lateral aspects of the bike shoe. Pronation is the internal rolling of the foot/ankle and Supination is the outwards rolling of the ankle/foot.

Thanks for correcting...all in all a great video on cycling shoes fit and function in spite of the reversal of pro and supination. Made me get out my orthotic biomechanical and gait assessment which has my feet diagnosed as hypersupination for both L and R foot.

I noticed that as well!! Quite a important detail that I think they should correct asap as if someone gets it wrong and correct for pronation (when they originally supinate) will just aggravate the problem even more!

Excellent. Too many shops encourage people to buy the latest and greatest, get a shoe 'fits' and is basically too tight. As rides lengthen the compromises become apparent and pain follows.
