5 Must-Have Accessories for the Sony ZV-1F Camera

- In this video, we take a look at the Sony ZV-1F camera and explore five must-have accessories that every vlogger and content creator should consider. First up is a lanyard, which provides extra security when holding the camera. We recommend using Peak Design's quick-release system for added convenience.

Idk if they brought it back or not but for a short period of time smallrig had a handle attachment that made the handle bigger and gave it more attachment points, I think it's way better than the one you mentioned
Thank you for addressing the wide angle lens adapter and ulanzi lens as an accessory most reviews skipped that part. I have the zv1 but thought to get the zv1f JUST to avoid the adhesive adapter wide lens without adding too much bulk & weight like the neewer lens does, but also liked the user friendly touch screen, wider lens (without wide lens adapter) longer run time without overheating, easier share to phone feature, & so on. Heard a lot of cons & advise to stick with zv1 but the cons don’t bother me as much so I thought to find out for my self, worst case scenario, return it with 30 days lol 3:20

Even though I love cameras, audio is more important than the video. And that’s where this camera wins 💯but if stabilization is what you prefer then the GoPro wins in that category. ( I chose this for vlogging myself ) best bang for your 💵

from what I noticed, the background plans lost sharpness around the edges as soon as you used the Ulanzi lens? Is the difference evident in your raw footage or is it something to do with post processing?
Yeah don’t get these I bought it and it’s so dissorted and wavy, hurts my eyes to look at. Get the neewer wide lens instead
The lens will add width to your shot, but I was also using background defocus mode. that adds to the blurriness ( Bokeh ) in the background.
What focal length are you really at when using 4k and stabilization?

Congrats on the new camera. its a light and compact but the battery life gets depleted fast while recording. So I recommend a second battery so you can continue to create while the other battery is charging. for this and any camera 😉

Just plug it in. It switches automatically

Yep, most modern cameras that have a mic port switch automatically.Tip: if you dont want any audio just plug a cable with nothing attached. it will bypass the built in mics'

What external flash can i use for the zv-1f?
Unfortunately the ZV-1F has a cold shoe, that means it doesn’t have any electrical connection for flashes and controllers. It’s a video centric camera so video lights for photos as well. 👍🏽
How do I switch ZV-1F to video mode? For streaming. Cant find it in the menu anywhere.
Plug it into a computer. it will recognize the computer and give you that as an option to be selected on the screen.
@@MrCameraJunkie I tried that the first time - it worked. But when I turned off the camera and on again won't link to computer. Tested the cable attached correctly. But when I turn ZV-1F on, pops up with language option then connect to smartphone etc.
@@robhindley1769 sorry that you’re having that problem but I’ve never come across that issue. If that were to happen to me, I would reset the camera to factory settings and start from zero.
@@MrCameraJunkie Turns out it took a bit of time to recognise my computer! But I now have an issue off getting audio out of camera and recorded through OBS. What configuration should the tip be off the audio lead? TRRS?
@@robhindley1769 you should be able to find the ZV-1F as a microphone through the USB-C connection, but the external microphone connection is TRS
