I agree with most points from this video but I think this points to a slightly bigger problem. There was even a recent documentary by DW on the quality of fast food in India and the level of misinformation that has led to an increase in obesity among children, diabetes and other health complications. There’s an urgent need to improve food regulations in India. While consumer awareness is important, there’s a need to hold the food industry in India to a much better standard. I think there usually is too much focus on what consumers should do and less on how to better regulate food corporations . I think you guys already had a story on Drug Regulation in India. I’d love to see one on food regulation and false advertising!
Bournvita is an archetype. A product claiming to be healthy when it was not. The influencer didn’t just target Bournvita, but every other false claimants. He didn’t target cococola or Pepsi because they don’t claim to be healthy.
Shame that somehow there is an attempt to justify the point of added sugar and making this sound like being done because parents don't have "time" for kids
Do try to verify the counter point. If you have kids or if there are kids in your family, try to feed them a balanced nutrients rich diet for 1 week. Conditions: 1. Don't add any sugar or sugar based additives to drinks. 2. Salt has Sodium which is not healthy in large quantities, so use less salt (Sodium). 3. Shallow and deep fried foods aren't healthy in the long term so cut it out of any habit forming behavior. Don't give fried food.

A question for folks at Newslaundry. On one hand Patanjali was heavily criticized for false COVID cure advertisement(rightly so) while brands like Bournvita that do false advertising for kids are justified?
If you look up news about Bournvita on Google, you'll come across some articles similar to this video that either try to portray that this is not just a Bournvita issue and that the whole industry is like this only or try to convince parents that added sugar is not that bad and how it is helping parents get milk into their children's system and how that absolves Bournvita and friends from all their sins like a nice dip in River Ganga. This is nothing but the Sugar Mafia doing damage control.
They have the big money to put out people like these, good story tellers semi scientific statements. Having no evidence usually means nobody sponsored a study on adverse affects or all studies which couldn't find adverse affects were sponsored by companies.
Healthy is a relative word really. Sugar is 'healthy' for a malnourished child or if it is in your workout drinks or ORS solution(glucose) when dehydrated/in diarrhoea, unhealthy for most others. For most middle class children they may be unhealthy on top of all the other bad carbs that they may have consumed(maida/rice based).
Well.. chapati is healthy, and chapati with nutella is not. Just because you want to make your child gulp chapati you add nutella to it is so messed up. Better have them 1 chapati without that trash than with it.
@@PankajMishra-ey3yh yeah but chapati with ghee and jaggery is both sweet and not harmful if not healthy, can always find a sweet spot with such things. The question on asks then is where bournvita lies on the spectrum of ghee+jaggery to nutella!
Sorry, what's the point? He did a video on Bournvita which is the market leader in this product. He does other brands too. Also, I'm sorry the we are demanding 'sugar' is rubbish. The whole issue is that sugar is peddled knowing it's crap.
i think taking his personal example and hownhis mom had to feed him and brothers milk is worst convincing . Check cost of sugar. Check cost of Bournvita. If you remove the sugar and ask people to add the sugar themselves is better and I clearly remember we used to add sugar when we wanted more energy ourselves.
Would you accept Coca Cola if they marketed themselves as being better for nutrition? Esp for kids? We can’t put everything in the same basket. Ethical marketing and advertising is paramount.
I really believed in newslaundry but this connection between you and this 'paid influencer' puts me in doubt. bournvita is really trying hard through this fellow to put across that every thing has loads of sugar, why single us out? How can newslaundry support this? That's my question? He's giving such lame excuses for bournvita as mothers don't have time n all other crap he's talking. Seriously, @newslaundry think.
He began with how honey n jaggery were as bad as sugar a couple of days back! N he has ended with how self proclaimed health drinks loaded with sugar are good because they give children nutrients 🥵🥵😨😨🥲🥲🥲 disgusting
We are seeing people sell their souls for a quick buck from a corporate entity in real time😂 This guy ad hominum attacked the entire country in the first few sentences itself instead of disproving the claims. He also justified the existence of the product based on the ignorance of the consumer who falls for marketing malpractice rather than using the merits of the product itself. See anyone can put out " a well thought'' out pre recorded piece. But Standing for right in the face of wrong rather than taking the money is another deal entirely.
Instead of telling the government should regulate the content this guy is giving an excuse that mothers are working three boys and what not.., I want to ask this guys what if government regulates it and ensures that such kind of stuff readily available should be healthy.... ridiculous man
He is drawing a comparison with his childhood. As a child, even when I had Horlicks, my daily sugar intake was minimal. These days, sugary treats are everywhere, easily accessible, and affordable for most people.
@@Huuuuuuuuuuuu107 yea that's why now government this regulated this category... in EU and other countries they are highly regulated... but alas in India people think outraging on regulating nutrition content is dystopian 🤣
But then these Companies should clearly advertise that they are adding lots and lots of sugar as well to make the milk palatable for kids and let the parents decide for themselves. Currently, they have been very incorrectly and unethically given the impression that these drinks are extremely healthy. A completely lame excuse by him to defend these Companies
Although kids don't like eating healthy stuff, I believe that kids eat what is fed to them from a young age. Feed them good healthy nutritious food (veges fruits proteins etc) as kids and they'll not be picky eaters as adults.
Yes, very off brand. They might even lose paid subscribers over this (assuming they get past the tacky packaging and click on the video in the first place).
What an irresponsible analysis!!! The particular 'influencer' he is talking about has brought about an awareness regarding reading food labels which as Indians we are not in the habit of.... Just dissing someone does not help, Mr. Ashok...
Bro krishna, guess lot of folks after 90s grew up in upper middle class. For the middle and lower, Horlicks! is only when you get sick, any other time its just milk. Having said that, this fad in India that kids has to drink something enriched like B'vita, HOrlicks, milo, etc... is so stupid. What we call in tamil 'Padicha Muttal' ( Literate but a fool ). The other fad is the whole cereal eating, I haven't seen a single person who ate those crap and said, ' I feel energetic', its nothing but western FAD. Having said that, I agree that all these guys try to run around the marketing and advertisement rules and regarding ingredients, gone are the days when people had some guilt. Now its free for all... when things are so broken then everyone become skeptical about everything... If anyone wants to stop this, start educating that these drinks doesn't provide any value... Cheers!
This guy saw ppl getting aware of BS brands.....n want to make a living out of it ....we know brands will come to him for face saving......Bourn Vita actually says they are healthy drinks for kids
Bournvita is being justifiably targeted becoz they claim their sugar loaded unhealthy powder is taiyari jeet ki and the added minerals you are claiming are in minute quantity in the powder. Perhaps you should read label yourself first before preaching rubbish things
The breaks in the sentences while he was reading through the text coupled with his expressions and hand movements, I couldn't understand a thing. I know that sometimes topics like this aren't easy to explain but this video confused me more.
@@rajanisantu same. Earlier I thought he was in favor of it. Then he started repeating, Bornvita isn't the only brand doing this. I mean it doesn't change fact it is unhealthy. Neither he took stand in favor of it nor against it

My Kids drink milk with dry dates in it. Dry dates are not that sweet. We acquire the taste of 'liking too sweet' things. And it changes our tongue/palette... And the habit of having too sweet things is very harmful.
Fine Mr. Smarty Pants, we buy you 8+ min justification on behalf of Mondelez and gang but y'all forget that every busy working mom with 2+ kids, 1 husband and in laws do have minimum 2kgs of sugar in stock at home. Allow us to decide how much sugar to add. Please don't sell us good old sweet white powder telling its Born Vita, no its not. You are selling sugar which costs 40/- kg @ 200-500kg inflated price in a shiny made in china label. Yeh nahi chalega abhi. Shape up or Ship out else where Mondelez. And sir, the great Tata's dont add sugar in their tea and coffee powder either.
It's an interesting perspective; I didn't consider how BVita makes the lives of working parents better. About the to-dos I believe there is one more actionable step that consumers should push for. India falls behind in putting nutritional labels on packaged goods, which is a significant issue. Several LATAM countries have taken this step by putting bold labels on foods that are high in sugar, calories, sodium, etc. Similarly, several European countries have added the nutritional grade of packaged food (A, B, C, etc.) to their labels. If other countries can do it, Indian lawmakers should act on this too, especially considering our current government is supposedly run by someone with a 56-inch chest. :)
I'd be surprised if this is true, as you say. We do need this. Pediatricians, health apps are secondary and not affordable by a large margin of people. Labels should be the first line of defense.
There are nutritional labels on drink powders. The Latin American “High in X” style labels haven't had the intended effect. Consumers either don't care, or actively seek snacks with the warning labels assuming that it must be tastier since it's high in fat and salt…
Too much sugar intake may lead to addiction. Then you cannot stop it easily. Especially affects children. There are significant documentaries about this. Companies are conscious about this and continue doing this for profit. So, it’s not totally true that sugar in food is just the demand side story.
Supremely confusing video. Foodpharmer's video was on point and he's built his entire brand on making people more aware of what goes into their food, rather than just causing outrage to gain followers. Krish is just putting out a very muddled take in the name of nuance. The entire category of health and nutrition drinks has been fooling us all these years and finally the lid's blown off. No need to justify the scam by making a plea on behalf of working mothers. All moms through the 90s thought they were making their kids healthier with Boost, Complan and Bournvita, and not just to make them drink milk. Otherwise, the market would have come up with healthier alternatives. Same with the cold drink marketing. Now, Krish should also say, what's the point of calling cold drinks out? They're only trying to make people drink water. Bullshiit!
My god look at how smartly he is setting his narrative/propaganda. The simple response from him should have been whether the claims made about Bournvita by the influencer were factually correct or not. But he unnecessarily brought in, the comfort and convenience points into the discussion to confuse the viewers. Let us worry about it. "It's OK even if it contains sugar, we have to use it as children don't consume the actual healthier food" :- this varies according to each individual and btw this was never even the point of focus. His sole assignment was just to factually analyse the claims. And why targeting only one brand point by him also is a cunningly clever way to deviate from the actual point. It makes it look like he is neutralising the sins of one for the others. Might be immature for me to call him a paid corporate narrative setter 😅, but his actions/words are a strong evidence regarding the same.
These kind of person are poisonous for society. They will not only seel their own soul for a quick but also sell the future of the children with a smile on their face and malice in their heart.
Good job news laundry! Take money from Bourvita and get a self proclaimed food expert to diss an influencer who ACTUALLY highlighted a GRAVE problem with the so called health drink industry!! Ashok is disgusting but then news laundry always is
The problem is some scientific research looks for only short-term results. They don't study long-term impact. When it comes to food it's better to go by tried and tested methods that are practiced for years instead of relying on scientific evidence. Why take unnecessary risks adopting new cooking techniques and ingredients in the name convenience?
@@AP-eb8hdalmost every single " research study" in the food space has an alarmingly small sample size which happens to just about justify the false claims of a particular company. It is called "fitting" when you only report only the thing they were looking for in the conclusion which companies paid the researcher for. Instead of reporting everything.
In India it was bournvita, in Europe it was nutella. Both were marketted as healthy in spite of the sheer amount of sugar added in these products Children don't just eat vegetables and drink milk with Bournvita. They also have small amounts of munchies, fruits and candy throughout the day. Bournvita have the recommended sugar for consumption throughout the day, but you reach the limit once you drink it just once. To maintain that limit we have to deprive the kids of all all other snacks. And which parent is heartless enough to do that just to keep kids healthy? Big corporations should be held accountable. Kissan jam has so little fruit it might as well be flavoring, ketchup has so much sugar it becomes jam, nutella is the equivalent of 3 teaspoons of sugar and 1 nut on a slice of bread, and so on. You must remember that companies are beholden to their investors and stake hholders not the families they are marketing to. Children can get sick and die and they won't care as long as it keeps making them money. We should have learnt our lesson with the whole Nestle Baby Food deaths but we choose to turn a blind eye to what we make our children eat and corporations encourage us to do exactly that so they can profit
As they say, don't take advice from someone who won't face the consequences. Ergo, companies are likely to be sued, so they are more careful in making claims. Not so for the influencer. I took a Statistics course, and it made a lot of sense as to the language used when data analysis was completed. There are no significant findings at this point is a perfectly valid answer compared to the influencer who will swear on his mother that xyz will cause cancer.
I dont think this point was touched upon adequately. Before my parents bought me bournvita, i used to drink milk with 1-2 spoon of table sugar added to it. When i have tea or coffee, i add 1-2 spoons of sugar. How is bournvita more harmful than this? Its easy to scare people by saying it contains 70% sugar. Well you add 1-2 spoon of bournvita in 1 glass of milk, and now you have 0.7-1.5 spoon sugar in 1 glass of milk, which is probably only 5-10% sugar, and not as scary as "70% sugar". The whole thing was a hype, which was only accentuated by the company's reaction.
That's a good point, even if the concentration of sugar in your examples are the same, the nutritional label on packaged foods can only include the contents itself, which gives a false sense of confidence on the healthyness of homemade food.
Just like every politician is corrupt without an exception, no food product in the market industry is safe. Have whatever we like in moderation and we should be ok
When I was a kid, my drink was moved from Bournvita to Complan so that I can be taller. This was even done when I didn’t like the taste of Complan and it was costlier.
when you are jealous of some other influencer stealing the limelight, you concoct such specious arguments to defend a evil food company... thats very despicable
This had to be the most dumb video newslaundry has made or hopefully will ever make. And what was that last point.....my goodness...giving information about sugar content in a product, doesn't need a degree, just two working eyes.
Hi Krish. Please stop talking like a nutritionist or a doctor. First of all please put a disclaimer that you are not from the healthcare industry so that people don't fall for another digital marketer. You will surely say good to all the western machines and products because that is the path you are taking. YOU ARE A SOCIAL INFLUENCER and we have had a lot of your type in the market recently... The reason I say all this is you also take selective subjects and corresponding research from the internet or some source. Unless you are the one performing the research please don't talk like one. Everybody can go on google and get the stuff you are talking. Nothing special so why make a video on it. Start doing research on your own and then talk about it.
There's a difference in the way he presents these results, very rationally and logically. Also it is very sad that people will look up research papers without understanding them and without using common sense. Mr ashok has common sense. Even in this video for which he's getting such amounts of hate, his words were not at all biased towards any side, he was speaking perfectly rationally in a balanced way. Nowhere was he justifying added sugar, only that added sugar is in maximum foods used in Indian kitchens 😅 He was only pointing out some facts for us to ponder upon Also he may not be a doctor, then going by your logic people should be really appreciative of their doctors 😅 how many patients follow their prescriptions is really not a secret 😢 So stop bashing him for making us think rationally and not following the herd mentality.
He mentions in his long-form talks that he's not a healthcare provider or nutritionist. Actual scientists are either too busy, poor at communicating science to a lay audience, or they will only speak about their own research, which greatly limits the topics they can address. He fills an important role as a *science communicator,* a critical link between the scientists in their ivory towers and the masses.
The fact that his nuanced, rational approach is criticized by many in the comments reflects on the poor quality of the Indian education system, where students are taught to be obedient factory workers, not think critically. I doubt you would say the same to Adam Ragusea, an American who popularized food science communication on RUclips. Ask yourself why you feel the need to criticize an Indian who does something similar…
How to justify extensively added sugars in the products that we buy ? ONe can learn this art from this guy.. Added sugar is not good at all ... Don't give excuses...Kids eat what we give. OUt of love we buy them sweets and chocolates...Better to replace those with fruits...I don't agree with him... Companies are making use of our weakness and make us further weak... HOw could you justify this ?
This is an embarrassing, apologetic attempt to defend terrible big corp practices. Just want to clarify few things - We didn't ask for sugar - Convenience doesn't mean the product can be unhealthy - Using Indian Women's patriarchal experience as an excuse to allow bad products in the market is abject nonsense - Most Parents didn't know about this. Thats why the outrage. Most people were surprised by the amount of sugar in this product. Encourage this change in mindset instead of making apologetic videos that defend big corps

Loool, why even put this video out? If the fight is against even one consumer product with massive amounts of added sugar in it, so be it! And to boot, its against a product that is actively fed to children! If the intention of putting this video out was to make people aware of all such sugary content, then its an utterly failed concept. Because it comes across as condescending rather than educating.
Please don’t blame the Indian mums and please don’t substantiate the addition of sugar in food to make it appetising. Milk is not the best healthy food for children either. Please don’t give out misinformation.
You fell for it cus you don't have a single brain cell left in your head to critically think. The Arguments justify advertising malpractice. He is reading from a pre made script provided but the Cadbury company hence the innumerable jump cuts. This is classic propoganda and manipulation 101😂
Hi Kris - Why can't people be allowed how much sugar they should add to their beverage? We anyways add sugar on top to the beverages. Why should the company decide it?
Do you mean a drink powder with just cocoa/other flavouring fortified with vitamins and minerals, where the consumer adds sugar as per their preferences? Such a product probably exists, although it's another step in the process, which means it'll remain a niche product.
So I came here looking for deeper insights but despite the many points, the video did not. To me the question is, how will we, in times when advertising, government bodies and laws are favouring big companies, the people be served with integrity and scientifically? If your answer is we won't and that's fine, I disagree. It's not fine not scientific.
Your whole agenda is to support multinational companies. Bournvita is one of the major brand in this section and people blindly follow such famous and major label so they should have some responsibilities as kid food
Well, I appreciate that the guy tries to bring nuance to the argument of whether health drinks are actually healthy. Unfortunately, he fails to make any valid points and even seems to be peddling lame excuses on behalf of MNC. In what world is 73 gms of sugar in 100 gms of food product healthy? All that anecdotal story of a working mother not having time is bull shit. For decades, most middle class and lower middle class people have compromised elsewhere to buy these advertised health drinks because they believed the claims that these are good for the growth of the children. And these health drinks are expensive. One can take care of all the nutritional deficit via supplements which are 10 times cheaper than these health drinks AND don't contain SO MUCH added sugar. Most of the health products advertised are false advertising. Nothing beats wholesome, home cooked food for long term health and nutritional supplements for acute nutritional deficiencies. And both of these are a lot cheaper compared to anything peddled on tv and internet. That is the long and short of it.
disagreed (1) I drank these milk health drink in childhood in the belief of their claim of it being more healthy ( i infer that myth that the more tasty and "natural" tea and coffee are actually bad for children was also propagated by brands with vested interest), many of these third grade tasteless drinks consumed not for vit and minerals but being a pray to misinformation in that pre digital and less education era (2) regarding health claims - this should be made more stringent, one can't sell high saturated oil, sugar or salt used junks and say "consume in moderation" and also make health claims, it should be stringent ensure (deteriorating) public health (3) that person or any such person are facing many of these law suits (mostly useless), they need to be more accountable than many of these fraud brands (selling everything, pan masala to heavy sugar) - what that person is doing (not speaking of this case) is great social service by spreading awareness
The problem is people are not ready to even listen to claim if there isn't a certain level of urgency and exaggeration.. If you say it 'might' not be good people won't care.. But if you say this is causing serious health problems then people are all ears.. It's the same way these products market themselves with the most outrageous claims.. So it's tit for tat i guess..
Excellent reporting. How we consumers too are to be more responsible is extremely important.as it is we have become experts in shifting blame instead of evaluating ourselves.
I think you're being too soft on those mindlessly outraging “Won’t anyone think of the children” If they can't be bothered to read the ingredients and the nutritional label mandated by law, then they shouldn't be having kids.
This sounds too apologetic for Bournvita. Further, he is clearly referring to FoodPharmer on the Bournvita issue, and he is making strawmans of his arguments. I would suggest watching the podcast by Raj Shamani with Foodpharmer and then watch how Kris's arguments are strawmans.

I agree with you
Agree! Mondoleez has deep pockets n this creep is bought out
sugar mafia lol
i seriously know multiple parents (even well read ones) who actually think that these drinks are actually healthy and not just convenient
Well, it "healthy" because without it kids won't even drink milk. And, yes, such products are "healthier" than none at all.
Well.. chapati is healthy, and chapati with nutella is not.
@@sukritdubey2630 jaggery found in local places are filled with added sugars.
Sorry, what's the point? He did a video on Bournvita which is the market leader in this product. He does other brands too. Also, I'm sorry the we are demanding 'sugar' is rubbish. The whole issue is that sugar is peddled knowing it's crap.
you didnt watch the video
Somehow this video is not reflecting truth but diplomacy
Summary is Bournvita is Cigarette of the past. What is in ad today , may be poison of future.
i think taking his personal example and hownhis mom had to feed him and brothers milk is worst convincing . Check cost of sugar. Check cost of Bournvita. If you remove the sugar and ask people to add the sugar themselves is better and I clearly remember we used to add sugar when we wanted more energy ourselves.
whats the difference then you are still eating sugar
We are seeing people sell their souls for a quick buck from a corporate entity in real time😂
This guy ad hominum attacked the entire country in the first few sentences itself instead of disproving the claims.
These days, sugary treats are everywhere, easily accessible, and affordable for most people.
you are the one being ridiculous trying to live in a dystopian world needing a form of aim each day you wake up and today its sugar
@@Huuuuuuuuuuuu107 yea that's why now government this regulated this category... in EU and other countries they are highly regulated... but alas in India people think outraging on regulating nutrition content is dystopian 🤣
They say Newslaundry does not take advertisements and promotes "Pay to keep news Free". Well looks like someone took it this time atleast 😂😂
It's called an idiot box for a reason. Bornvita is just one among a thousand.
thats the only wrong thing they are doing. They should fix that but in a world of strong competition its almost impossible. Its dystopian
Although kids don't like eating healthy stuff, I believe that kids eat what is fed to them from a young age. Feed them good healthy nutritious food (veges fruits proteins etc) as kids and they'll not be picky eaters as adults.
nobody forced you to buy bonvita
An apologist for the food industry....did not expect this from Newslaundry
Yes, very off brand. They might even lose paid subscribers over this (assuming they get past the tacky packaging and click on the video in the first place).
Exactly
Just I can say thuu
What an irresponsible analysis!!! The particular 'influencer' he is talking about has brought about an awareness regarding reading food labels which as Indians we are not in the habit of.... Just dissing someone does not help, Mr. Ashok...
Did he actually answer the question he raised i.e. "How bad is Bournvita for your kid?"?
Of course not😅 he seems to say add vitamins to jam makes it good 😅
Bro krishna, guess lot of folks after 90s grew up in upper middle class.
I know that sometimes topics like this aren't easy to explain but this video confused me more.
yes he had no point at all. Just wanted to make a video
@@rajanisantu same. Earlier I thought he was in favor of it. Then he started repeating, Bornvita isn't the only brand doing this. I mean it doesn't change fact it is unhealthy. Neither he took stand in favor of it nor against it
@@amit.kumar634 The mentality of “taking a stand” *is* one of the problems he was trying to address, because it prevents people from considering nuance.
He always uses the term 'infuencers' as if he is one, and the term 'social media' as if he is not part of it. 😂😂😂
I only hope this influencer is not scared about bournavita suing him or developed a cold feet and harping on evidence😅
But it is ok to speak critical of Ayurveda,Homeopathy,Yoga or Naturopathy because there is no big guy among them standing with a big stick or a machine gun.😅
Anecdotes are experiences too.Always demanding evidence is like looking for an escape route.
This person has probably received kickbacks from cadbury
Instead of addressing the health issues of Bournvita raised by foodpharmer, victim bashing in full scale.
He's jealous of his popularity. Don't understand how there are 1.8M subscribers fooled here. haha
Looks like Cadbury paid this youtuber and newslaundry few lacs to save their ass
Bullshiit!
his brand is built on fear lmao
Examples please?
@@AP-eb8hdalmost every single " research study" in the food space has an alarmingly small sample size which happens to just about justify the false claims of a particular company.
It is called "fitting" when you only report only the thing they were looking for in the conclusion which companies paid the researcher for. Instead of reporting everything.
In that case The so called Bvitas Horlicks Boosts should advertise thmselves as a flavouring drink rather a health drink
In India it was bournvita, in Europe it was nutella. Both were marketted as healthy in spite of the sheer amount of sugar added in these products
Children don't just eat vegetables and drink milk with Bournvita.
Finally, a sensible critique of the video.
Why the f**k is this guy protecting
Nowhere was he justifying added sugar, only that added sugar is in maximum foods used in Indian kitchens 😅
He was only pointing out some facts for us to ponder upon
Also he may not be a doctor, then going by your logic people should be really appreciative of their doctors 😅 how many patients follow their prescriptions is really not a secret 😢
So stop bashing him for making us think rationally and not following the herd mentality.
How much money paid by bournvita to make this video??
This is an embarrassing, apologetic attempt to defend terrible big corp practices.
Just want to clarify few things
- We didn't ask for sugar
- Convenience doesn't mean the product can be unhealthy
- Using Indian Women's patriarchal experience as an excuse to allow bad products in the market is abject nonsense
- Most Parents didn't know about this. Thats why the outrage. Most people were surprised by the amount of sugar in this product.
Encourage this change in mindset instead of making apologetic videos that defend big corps
His smug face pisses me off. Take it for what you will.
This is BS. He keeps dancing around the issue. He is just trying to exploit it. Adds nothing of value.
This guy is again saying BS like Maggi.. Meri Maa kya Galat thi? Remember the Maggi controversy?
Defending evil industry, as expected from a well paid pr
Evidence is bought .. it’s better to teach body and mind to be more aware so it can reject that doesn’t help them either food or mental dose

Most of these actual doctors and oncologists receive kickbacks from pharma companies
Good thing he's not a doctor, then.
News for you. My kids liked cold milk without sugar. Without much help from us.
We tried to warm up milk and give it to them till date they don't like that.
When you are well funded by bournvita and this people blame main media 😜
these products which you are using for defending a brand
hv never said that or promoted themselves as healthy drinks😂
Newslaundry should wake up you are trying to justify an obvious wrong. What kind of argument is this that you are going after 1 brand when others are equally bad?? 2 wrongs don't make a right . Pl wake up, freedom of expression ke naam pe cock n bull stories karna band karo
Wasted my time
According to him, just be ignorant and enjoy the beverage. haha.
I really trust this channel so much. Please don't make such rubbish videos. Shame on you.
The last statement perfectly encapsulates what I would adore in a person. Please make more videos of seemingly controversial ideas going viral on the internet.
Worthless video. Too diplomatic!! Have courage to speak out and take a side rather than putting one leg on one side and playing safe!! Cheers to the person who flagged the major issues in these products produced by these evil life taking Corporations!!
He is 'Soft preaching' again. As usual.
Too preachy. Also, everybody whose sane knows about null hypothesis (not the term, but the meaning).
Please don’t blame the Indian mums and please don’t substantiate the addition of sugar in food to make it appetising. Milk is not the best healthy food for children either. Please don’t give out misinformation.
Well reasoned arguments and a questioning mind make your videos a pleasure to watch.
😂😂 🤮
Do people really think that branded consumerables are good for health?
What misinformation did the person in question say? Be clear!
I think you're being too soft on those mindlessly outraging “Won’t anyone think of the children”
If they can't be bothered to read the ingredients and the nutritional label mandated by law, then they shouldn't be having kids.
You are completely missing his point. He just wants consumers to be aware of what they are eating, period.
Bruh what? You think that Bournvita has Vitamins and Minerals 🤣🤣🤣 🤡🤡🤡
Are you one of those gullible people who believe in every tall claim the brands make in their advertisements? 😂😂 Did Complan help you to grow taller? 😂😂
Shame on @krishashok for promoting bournvita
What the H are u trying to say ??? Tell it directly instead of world circus
A: im an industry shill trying to protect a british product
Well why dont u take this as first step to big corporate sugar mafia
This case is less about sugar or diet or nutrition but more about false advertisement, which you got deviated from. It is better to start somewhere than not start at all.🤦🏻♂️
Some people even add sugar to the bournvita and milk.
Loved the last statement...😊
Video look like after not getting increment, boss explaining to his colleagues....😂
Ashok u hv made a video on why idli batter should be consumed by keeping in fridge..can you make it in English please

I have watched a bunch of your videos. You just want to create some sensational content. And you are trying to please masses for views.
There is one problem with this video. It uses too much logic and common sense.
Ashoka you are as clever as a fox you saved your back
Jus saw a video, which he says okay to hv bread (of course in moderation)..this too sounds like okay to give ao called health deinks to kids....every day a bit of bread..sugary drinks etc..will it not add up to kids unhealthy food consumption?
Is convinience priority over health?
Jaggery is not white sugar....don't make improper comparisons please....
So bornvita is good according to this guy.
Vegetarian diet is basically "Added Sugar" :-D
No
What is your rivalry with traditional habits and life style
Brilliant! Thank you!
No not my bournvita...... no no😢
