    How do I apply this technique when I need to clap while I’m bending, be in a high v then circle while I’m jumping? I have amazing splits but my jumps are embarrassingly low & ugly

      Sorry this is late but what you need is leg strength! No matter how flexible you are you need to be able to bring your legs up quickly, meaning you need more strength

    • @jaymendez4134
      @jaymendez4134 4 года назад +2

      Lucy C and how do you get more strength ??

    • @lucyc2680
      @lucyc2680 4 года назад +4

      @@jaymendez4134 I like to stand and kick one of my legs up like in a high kick. I do this both to the front, and to the side as though I was doing a toetouch. They really help

    every time i roll my hips under i always fall and can never get my feet to snap back

    • @ericgibson8433
      @ericgibson8433 6 лет назад +3

      ily. k typically it is bc you haven’t jumped high enough.

    • @lillianocallaghan7891
      @lillianocallaghan7891 5 лет назад +3

      I would too to fix it I had to strengthen my snap back which is your hamstring muscle some drills are raising a leg up then focusing on you hamstring to push it down fast or you can get a partner to hold your leg up with you pushing it down then having them let go

    Oh my gosh wow! My coaches always told me that I need to get my chest up/back and I could never do that and now I realize it's because my hips were back. My coaches didn't however, and told me to push my T back behind me causing me to circle my arms and make them become a Y 😂 now I'm going to focus on turning my hips under and swinging my arms straight up thank you so much!

      Kylie it’s almost like tucking your but in if that makes sense try leg kicks(no bounce) and tucking you butt while you do it it’s kind off hard to explain hope that helped
