Oh my god!! I had been struggling with this problem for quite awhile until i learned how to fix it. Now I'm able to do a regular toe touch but I still struggle every now and then. I will be using this tutorial tysm!!

Am I the only one who can’t do the leg lifts on the ground?
From everything I’ve heard it doesn’t even matter if you can’t lift your legs on the ground as long as you try and can’t feel the squeeze in your hip flexors you will improve over time and eventually be able to lift your legs higher each time
That just means you don’t have the hip flexor strength yet, which is why the exercises she gave would really help you a lot!
I could not at first but I’ve done it every day and I’ve gotten so much higher on the ground

If you do side kicks then that can help
You should work legs and core it’s literally js strength to get it up there

I was actually born with cerebral-palsy and I'm super flexible in about a year I will sign up for cheer I watched the other videos about your toe touches. I love all you vids. But I'm just doing a cheer club right now. So wish me luck to have a cheer by October the 7th. Gott eat healthy too!

When I stretch my hip flexors I hear them crack is the bad😅
Mine do too, it is a little bad. I go to the chiropractor and his advice is to stretch them more. If you don’t you can start to get back problems (like me)
Why do all cheer stretching videos have to have all this commentary, instead of just getting to the point? 🙄

That helped a lot my cheer coach said if my jumps didn’t get better I wouldn’t be in jumps but they got a lot better bc of that vid thx

this year I’m trying out for cheer again last year. I didn’t make it for many different reasons, including my skills. This year I’m trying out for high school cheer being an eighth grader. I am so nervous tryouts are a month away and I really hope that this video will help me improve my toe touch because for the high school I am trying out for it is required that we have a toe touch.

You don’t have to have as high as leg lifts All that matters is that you have good technique then you can work on height because you don’t get judged on how high you get judged on technique
