Beyond the Black has to be the only band where I cannot have any form of dislike for their songs. I most of the time, if not all of the time - have their songs playing while I go out for a jog or workout. Once I get back into playing guitar, I would like to learn a few of their songs.
While I'm not happy with the change of style, this song is actually a good one. Compared to Misery and Golden Pariahs, it is definitely a huge step-up. Hopefully the rest of the songs on the album will be more like this. This song restored some faith for the upcoming album for sure.
In my actual Pen&Paper round we have a ritual, that everytime a char dies, the player can name a deathsong we listen together. My next char will be like an alchimist/healer who is not allways super close to his goods... Just found the perfect deathsong for her :)

For me it sounds exactly like previous 2 new songs, still I can't hear the instruments, it's just a noise on the backround. You can hear this kind of "music" from some home artists, who make music for themselves in 5 minute. This doesn't sound like a band anymore. And while Jennifer is one of the best female singers, then without the music even a good singer sounds just like an average. Anyway something is clearly changed for the worse, at Airforce1 or whatever it was, every song was high standard masterpiece. The music, the singing, the lyrics, the mixing, everything.

Cause the change has been huge, not only musically but also lyrically they've gone pretty mediocre. First two albums for sure it felt that they had some good team behind them. Both albums feel like greatest hits, could take any song and it would be good.
@Taylor Atkinson It's not about that symphonic parts have been reduced. I can live with that. I listen absolutely every genre of music there is. They can even make an rap album, I wouldn't care. If it's good it's good, I will listen. These new songs are empty to me, simple as that. They used to have songs full of emotions and musically almost all songs were different. And the quality of sound by mixing was top class. It's all gone now, if you don't hear it, then that's good for you. I bet most people don't make a difference. Cause most people don't go too deep into music and that's fine also.

That sound in the intros and bridges reminds me a lot of Mechina. Anyone that likes a significantly heavier version of those and a whole sci-fi saga being told in their albums should check them out.
Definetly stronger than the first 2, golden parihas was pretty ok and gets better the more you listen to it but Misery was not as strong. Looking forward to hearing the rest of the album
