With this album, Beyond the Black is breaking into new territory. The modulations are excellent, non-derivative, and refreshing. It is a substantial shift in their writing.
At least they’re in a studio filming. There’s nothing worse than being a Finnish Nature Worker or Park Ranger, and find some Symphonic Metal Band that was frozen in place after getting lost in the woods the day of their photo shoot.
I've noticed when Jennifer sings she sometimes finishes the note with a little high pitched breathy sigh. This sounds utterly beautiful. She is a world class front woman in my eyes. Respect 😎👍
Beyond the Black is growing into a true force to be reckoned with by leaps and bounds. This is going to be such an amazing album. LOVE the dramatic, theatric and fantasy elements on display in this video. Their collective love for Game of Thrones is palpable and well represented here. Musically, it's absolutely ROCK SOLID throughout. Another GREAT track from what is destined to be their BREAKOUT album.

It's another winner from this superior German Symphonic Metal band. It's got everything I'd expect to hear from this subgenre, with a particular thumbs up for how well-structured it is - it flows beautifully right through. I loved the way it picks up speed from the intro to the body of the song, and it has a nice rounded ending. A delight, and a must-own. My Score: Very Good 4*
