Thanks for watching. I primarily use my Alienware for video editing. I was getting a lot of freezing issues when it related to things that used hardware.. I was able to surf the internet just fine.
Hello, I liked your video! What are your Alienware x51 settings? I have one of these and I use a GTX 970, but I would like to change it to something more powerful like a GTX 1660S
@@GReviewz Currently, my Alienware X51 R2 has a GTX 970 graphics card and I would like to purchase a more powerful graphics card. Does a gtx 1660 super fit in it?
Does the sidepanel no longer fit after installing the fan? 11:47 Or was it left off for demonstration? Just want to be sure
Thanks for watching. The side panel does fit back on no problem. However the cooling is a lot better with the side panel off..
@@GReviewz Thanks so much! I’ve been testing laying my x51 on it’s side so it ventilates side to side rather than one vent sitting on the desk
so what was the temperature difference? Have you tried with the cover back on?
Did you have freezing issues as part of overheating (fan kicking louder)?

@@SrLusca I have a 1660s in mine it's tight but fits if you get the right card
what was the temperature difference
It runs about 20% cooler. Just a heads up if you are going to run this same setup I have to leave the back of the case off for it to work property.
