Getting married on October this year and planning to do DIY also especially for the decorations and centerpieces. I'm so glad this video was recommended on youtube. Great ideas & so helpful! 😊♥️
You did such a beautiful job, I’m also doing the same theme for my wedding but my colors are burgundy, light pink, and rose gold ..... now I really can’t wait
So cute. I’m using the same colors and design at my wedding with the same amount of ppl. U def used most of the ideas that I am using. So I guess I’m on the same track. Beautiful. I’m making most of the same myself as well. I’m even catering my own food by making it. And the drinks will be premade that morning. Ha! I r have thought of everything n keep in a bunch. It’s def fun. Starting a year in advance helps too.
I just want to say Thank you Thank you...you are so good at this. I really enjoyed your video. I especially like that you added pictures and web links. Really helpful. I have to DIY all of my wedding decorations and you have covered everything from how to start, where to go and prices and shared some hiccups along the way which is a major help. Also, your wedding looked amazing. Thank you❤
Wow this is a great video! Very useful ideas/tips! I love to make diy videos too. Your video is very inspirational! Thank you for sharing your talent and time with us!
Brittany this was great! I loved the tips on graphite paper for DIY signs and the verbiage and sign for guests who didn't RSVP. You did such a wonderful job! I'm having an intimate wedding next year at a venue that specializes in micro weddings (they actually decorate really beautifully), but I will definitely use some of your tips to decorate my bridal shower! Thanks for sharing with us. 😊
Omg. I wish you had more subscribers!!! Thank you SO much for this video...seriously. This is the cutest, most amazing DIY wedding video I've seen so far. It made me tear up (happy tears!) about 3 times lol. Plus you are so cute and thoughtful, you have a very lucky family, friends, and husband! Can't wait to watch more of your videos! You're making me so excited about my wedding! Did you have a planner/coordinator? How did you pick your DJ? Gonna look around and see if you have any of this info in other videos. Thanks again! Your wedding looked amazing. Hope it was one of/the happiest day of your life! ♡♡♡😍🤗😊
Amy wow thanks so much! I’m glad that sharing this video is helping people! I planned everything except for my catering coordinator. She was the only person I used at the venue to communicate tables, food, drink, and overall layout. We got married in a hotel. The DJ was pretty generic for us. I just used the same company that my friend had for her wedding. I appreciate the compliment and hope you have the wedding of your dreams!
Thanks so much for your excellent and detailed wedding tip ideas. I loved the idea about the Gopro camera really great idea for parts the bride and groom can enjoy later. Congratulations to you both🌷🌷🌷🌷
Good thing i stumble into your video, i am watching your video on a Xiaomi Pad 6 and the Photo (Pad) Booth is great idea to cut cost on hiring photobooth rental. We are getting married on March next year, i wll do the GoPro checkout station and Photopad Booth. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for the tips, love your go pro idea, might def use that. I’ve got 4months until my wedding and starting to freak out lol also excited as all get out. I’m going to check out petaldriven- such a good price for greenery which I need eucalyptus in my life!! Haha thanks again
Love what you did with the flowers! Not so keen on the candy bar though, which looks rather plastic and too much the same. But what does it matter? Seems you and your guests had a wonderful day, and that's what counts. And you looked stunning. Well, you always do.
Thank you so much! Which floral arrangements are you referring to specifically? Much of my florals were from that eucalyptus box I mentioned in my video. I really just laid the greens out in various formations for those ones and then we threw random clippings of eucalyptus and leftover flowers from the bouquets into some buckets. That was kind of it for my florals
BarbaraMarie I actually got the taller ones that held my sign on the offer up app. But the tin buckets I used for flowers were from the dollar store online website
Thank you so much!! I've been wondering how I was going to push the signs into the ground. This will solve that problem. This video is amazing and so helpful, thank you. I bet your wedding was perfect. Wish I was as organized as you. :)
Kim Rogers thank you! Once I got the shipment in, I separated each type of flower or greenery into their own bucket (5 gallon Home Depot buckets). I put some water in the buckets just enough to ensure all stems were covered. Then I put everything in a cold dark room in my basement for two days when they were ready to be made into bouquets. It worked great!
Hey there! I’m assuming you’re asking about the wood for the seating chart. I had Home Depot cut it in half for me. (It’s wouldn’t fit into my car that way) But if you’re asking about the wood I used for the lanterns and welcome sign, it came in the long strips and then I just used a pull down saw to cut them to the length I wanted.
Thank you for the great advice! Did you have the link for where you bought your ring light+ipad holder? Most of the ring lights i see online only holds phones or cameras
Daseul Song yes! This is the iPad mount. It fit on the Newer ring light which you can buy on amazon as well. If you want more photo booth details I made a separate video on my channel breaking down the tutorial further for how i DIYed my Photobooth. www.amazon.com/Yoassi-Universal-Rotatable-Anti-Wobble-iPad123456/dp/B07HR718KV/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=ipad+mount+for+ring+light&qid=1582418475&sr=8-4
Oh my gosh!! LOVED everything you DIY-d, but especially the fake florals!! How did you attach the bigger floral arrangement together? (The one from the “Welcome” sign)
Jenni Barnard thanks! So I used a circular piece of floral foam to hold all the flowers in place, then I got glued a floral hook onto the foam. This made it easy to just hook it on top of the welcome sign.
Getting married this year and we also want to put our personal touch in every detail as much as we can! This sooo helpful! ☺️ Question though - can you share how did you manage to set these all up on the day?
Jovilyn Espiritu good question! We were able to access our venue the night before so we decorated the banquet space that night. I also had a list of tasks for the groomsmen, ushers, and my two girl cousins who were “personal attendants” written out for the morning of the wedding. The task list basically had a checklist of what still needed to be set up. They all split the tasks of that list while my bridesmaids and I got ready that morning. I trusted it’d all be setup just fine and it turned out amazing!
I have looked for SO MANY ideas on how to do a DIY Photobooth and LOVE your idea!!! There are so many ring lights on amazon though- can you link yours? Or can you tell me how tall you had your stand set in your video?
I have the newer brand from amazon and thank you! I appreciate your feedback on the photobooth. I will actually be posting a separate video this weekend where I go in depth of how to create the DIY photobooth so stay tuned!
@@brittanyvonarx1876 don’t worry I just learned about that glue also lol but beautiful work I’m enjoying n learning so I can help my daughter-in-law her wedding day I’m loving everything
THANK YOU!! This was so helpful!! ☺️ I love the go pro idea! I’ve been recently looking into photo booths and they are pricey 😅 this is such a great idea too! I never know what to do with the prints either 😂
your wedding looked so cute! I am doing so many DIYS for my wedding as well.. Its so fun to personalize your wedding. But definitely time consuming! great ideas =]
On the photo booth card information while you were talking seen small orbs flying around. Did you see them? Appreciate you sharing your on a budget wedding ideas.
Sandy Tan Thanks for asking! I actually did not order it. The whole sign was made from scratch. What I did was found a font I liked and typed it out, then printed it. Then on the sign I made I took graphite paper and layered it with the printed font and traced over the font while the pages sat on the sign. That transferred the letters onto the sign enough to where I could fill them in with my paint markers. I hope that helps!
how long did it take u to decorate everything b4 ur wedding day ?? was it done everything by you or someone helped you as well to put everything in place
I’d say I started on everything two months out. The thing I had help with were the centerpiece lanterns. I did an assembly line with my family to make those. I also took off work the 4 days before my wedding to get every last minute DIY together, but everything else I did at home and then drove up with all of it to my wedding. (I got married in MN, but live in FL) I work a full time job and was able to make it all work! Just had to be good at crossing off my to do list ;)
vatchyelee sure thing! I used a ring light as a tripod and for lighting. The brand I have is Neewer, you can buy on amazon. I also had to buy an iPad holder attachment which easily assembled onto the ring light. (Amazon purchase as well)
@@brittanyvonarx1876 Do you still have the links to these items? There’s so many on Amazon and I’m worried my iPad won’t fit in the holder or the holder fitting into the ring light/tripod.
love this video so much! made me feel so much better about making my own flowers! did you keep the eucalyptus in water once you got them on Wednesday? or were they just okay out until the day of the wedding?
Brittni Kotas I stored everything in buckets in my basement storage room where it was cool and dark. There was maybe just enough water to coat the stems in each bucket. Not a lot. I think this helped keep them fresh. The whole room smelt amazing because of it. Lol!
Rachel Garcia you have time! I did a lot of this maybe 2 months leading up to my wedding. Just make a to do list and check things off as you go. Highest priority first. There were some decoration things I wanted to do but ran out of time to do. I didn’t let them stress me out though. At the end of the day, it’s about the marriage :)
No kidding! Lol. I’m pretty new to filming videos so my equipment isn’t the greatest. Trust me, a creator picks up on those things and definitely doesn’t want to distract their viewers. But i decided to post anyways because I hoped people could look past that and just appreciate the content. Thanks for pointing it out to me!
A advice is to always have the camera or mic on a nother surface, it doesnt matter if you got cheap equipment or pro really expencive. The mic will pick up vibrations on the surface it stands on. So if you dont have a camera/mic stand, use another table or something :) But yes good that you posted anyway, cause you have very nice ideas! I'm going to try do some of them for my wedding.
