28 days out!! Your (RUclips video) help over this past year of my engagement has been INVALUABLE!!! I sent you an invitation, too!! Thank you Jaime!!!!
RE: cocktail hour -- Polish Catholic here- wedding ceremony in the morning, close family has a lunch, bridal party then goes to take photos while everyone else goes home, and then "cocktail hour" is about 2 hours because it's when people show up and the bride & groom are greeting everyone in the receiving line XD.
Something that everyone often forgot for me when I played in a string quartet: the 'ok now' person. We were always set up close to the front stage, and we needed someone to keep an eye out for who could wave at us and day, yes she's ready to walk. Alongside that, the person who had the money (we were uni students and just got paid cash on the day) we didn't want it to be the bridal party, it should be someone who was present away from the bridal party.
I'm also a type 1 diabetic and making cocktail hour an extra hour long in case of medical issues is really odd to me, unless she has some complications she didn't mention. I got married this year and the appetizer hour was an hour long. Most people will be understanding if a medical issue is involved, so I don't think a whole hour's worth of buffer needs to be built in unless there's additional context we're missing!
I’m also T1D and I’ve been in multiple weddings. Extra long cocktail hour for that reason is also strange to me. Like, you can just make sure to eat enough beforehand lol
Re: order of wedding party, I would think ranking by how long they’ve known the couple would be more awkward and create potential for hurt feelings more than height order. To me, height is totally impartial and is about the visuals, not about the relationship. And I say this as the one who’s always been the tallest bridesmaid and most often end up on the end
I’m a bit more than 7 months out but have booked almost everyone and am now looking what I can plan ahead of time. My fiancé and I will be 51 (me) and 50 (him) when we tie the knot. We have a lot of older relatives and people our age go to bed early (not us though 😅). We’re planning on a 2:30pm ceremony with a 1-hour cocktail hour, games, etc and dinner at 5. He’s thinking first dance at 6:30 and then general dancing until 9:30. I am worried people either a) won’t dance at all (I do ballroom and can see people sitting back and saying “Oh, I’ll just watch”) or b) cutting out as soon as they eat. We really want people to enjoy and have a good time. Wondering what your viewers think?
I would encourage your guests to enjoy all your wedding has to offer, including dance. Maybe plan games for them to get more involved, but i have noticed people will do something for me just because they love me. I lead worship in my small group and im not very good and i have friends that sing extra loud to support me It is your day. Do what YOU want and don’t worry so much about others

Do you think flat shoes are easy to change into if your dress is tailored for higher heels? How to prevent tripping?

Wedding is in 9 days , thank you!
Came across my page OMG . Love the Wolfer's!
I tried to get the music list but just kept getting the wedding timeline, which I already have. General music is the part I'm struggling with. 🤦♀️
My wedding is in seven days!! With a 9 day honeymoon and a move following 😊❤

For south Asian and Chinese American weddings, there’s a fb group called subtle Asian weddings. It’s my favorite wedding group that I’ve been in
I'd love a brunch wedding
Help I tried to download the planner but it just keeps saying 404 page not found after I put all my details in
Same with all your other links. Nothing will come through
Does Jaime read the comments?
Yes Jamie reads the comments, but definitely can’t get to them all ✌🏻
@@JamieWolfer Cool! Just have some questions about my upcoming wedding. But I know you are a busy person so it's understandable if you don't respond.
Clean your engagement ring so that it's nice and shiny
