- 📌I am a color collector - I have such a bad habit of buying just 1 more tube of paint in whatever color I love especially in the early days of painting.
I own so many convenience tubes of paint (evidence in this video where I swatch 94 of my paint tubes - • How I swatch my waterc... )
My practice of painting in monochrome really propelled the way I painted by a huge leap - because I was forced into simplifying shapes and seeing shadow instead of petals and details. It was a change in the way I painted.

I am trying to limit the number of colours in my paintings so they are more cohesive and enjoying mixing colours with the limited palette. But there are so many beautiful premixed colours that keep talking to me and tempting me… they are like Alice in Wonderland temptations calling … TRY ME…. I really enjoyed this video 🙏🏼🎨✨💕

I e seeen that conservatory and it is lovely, however, if you look closely, you’ll notice that the walls have the same group of plants just planted all over the wall. So I had to ‘gaze’ over it, not look closely. Not helpful for a would be painter

I don’t understand what the problem is with colour
Color is great! I love using it. But too much of a good thing also makes an art piece jagaring. So learning to balance Color in a composition is what I have been focusing on in my current stage of art
